The students who are selected also, do not join those companies, So from my point of view, placements are very bad in this college.

Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) - Batch of 2027

The college is excellent.
Placements: There are various placements cell in the college in which you can get yourself registered. There are direct placements in some of the banks situated in Jalandhar. There are low chances of placements outside Jalandhar, but if your academics are good, you have a chance.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is fine. The classes are big and airy but it gets a little difficult in summers as there are no ACs so it becomes extremely hot, but it’s fine in winters. Labs are air conditioned and library is also good. You can find a variety of books in the library.
Faculty: The semester exams are same as the university’s main exams having the same pattern and marking scheme. Teaching quality is just superb. Every teacher is cooperative and they have the best knowledge. You don't need to get tuitions if you attend the lectures properly.
Other: I opted B.Com because it is a specialized course which provides the students with in-depth knowledge of various subjects related to business and commerce such as accounting, finance, economics, marketing, and management. Students graduating with an accounting and finance degree have a variety of career paths to choose from.

Bachelor of Business Administration - Batch of 2025
2.4

It is the most prestigious and old college in the town having affordable fees.
Placements: There were around 80 students in the BBA course. The highest package offered in this course was 1.3 Lacs and the lowest was 25000. The top recruiting companies were Microsoft and Wipro. Only 5% students got internships. There is a special cell for trading and classes are taken by professionals. The top roles offered were that of manager and clerks, etc.
Infrastructure: The college is very old and so the infrastructure is not that good. Classrooms are okay and the library is also well maintained. I am not staying in the hostel but my friends say that it's good and the mess is also average. The canteen is bad. The college provides medical facilities along with the on-campus hospital. There are sports and games tournaments organized by the college.
Faculty: The teachers are cooperative and supportive. They are qualified and conduct regular tests. The course curriculum is relevant. The students are prepared for industries and for life. The semesters are not that tough. The college is affiliated to GNDU and regular mid-semester exams are conducted.

B.Sc. in Computer Science - Batch of 2025

Almost Satisfaction and the worst Experience of this college.
Placements: Honestly, not much placements are offered in this college, especially for our course B.Sc. In computer Science). Only about 2-3 courses will be there in our college which get placements continuously I. e B.Com BCA BBA etc. The placements are offered by less known companies and packages are also average or sometimes below average.
Infrastructure: If we talk about the infrastructure of our course, then I would say it is the worst. Emphasis is given only on theoretical studies. No one care about practical experience there. Scheduling of our all the lectures of the course is even worse. Now if we talk about the hostels of our college, then feels is higher with poor infrastructure.
Faculty: Only about 2% of the faculty of our college is helping towards the students otherwise rest of the faculty generally don't care about students. For the preparation of the upcoming exams, house tests ( MST - mid semester tests ) have been organised every semester, which is pretty good idea for the preparation of exams.
Other: Honesty I made a mistake by choosing this course in this college. The worst thing is the schedule and timings of our lectures of this course. It becomes very tough for the students who come to college from far away. They always miss their lectures just because of the poor schedule of the course.

B.A. (Hons.) in English - Batch of 2025
4.2

Good faculty and extracurriculars. Can do better with the infrastructure.
Placements: So I am a student of B.A. English with honors, which is a pass course at my college. 1st year is normal B.A. and if you are eligible to, then you can do B.A. honors from your 2nd year. About 5% were eligible to do English honors in my year. The top role offered is that of an English professor at the same college. 7 LPA is the average package.
Infrastructure: The English language lab is there. Open Wi-Fi is also available, classrooms are decent and the library is quite vast. There is open Wi-Fi in the hostel as well; the mess food is good; the medical facilities are decent; the canteen is also quite decent; and there is an annual sports meet at the hostel itself.
Faculty: The English department teachers are the best; they are quite knowledgeable, qualified, fun, helpful and cool. They are experienced and have good teaching qualities. The course curriculum is affiliated with GNDU so it's decent but fun and provides vast knowledge. Semester exams are fine, pretty average and the pass percentage is above average to say the least.
Other: I chose this course because I love literature and the English department of this college is quite old and huge. Only if the curriculum covered more aspects would it be better. There are quite a number of events; the annual talent hunt competition is there and I myself am into extracurriculars, so it is pretty nice and gives exposure. The university holds an annual youth festival, which our college is always taking part in and excelling at. We also take part in the youth parliament and get prizes. The crowd is decent; you just need to find your type of people and the faculty is mostly cooperative.

For the best college experience, it's an excellent choice. Everything is perfect for students.
Placements: The placement cell is very effective, providing timely information and assistance. Around 35% of students were placed through our college placement cell, all securing good packages. They also offer guidance on cracking interviews, ensuring a well-organized process.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is excellent and has been maintained well even after 115 years. The hostel campus is also well-kept. The mess serves quality food at affordable prices, and the canteen operates for 16 hours a day, catering to all student needs.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable, making concepts easy to grasp and providing helpful notes. They support students who aspire to be industry-ready. Semester exams are not overly difficult but are designed to assess students' understanding.

Honest review of the college and its courses.
Placements: The college provides no kind of placements, the location of the college is the main reason for this, because this area is not industrial. There is no special cell for placements in the college. Also, no companies visit for the placements. The students need to solely approach the companies for jobs.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is below average and quite good. The labs and classrooms are well-maintained and in good condition. The Library is also good, you can get maximum books and course books too. The food quality of the college canteen is good. There are many game and sports facilities available.
Faculty: The teachers are beneficial, qualified, and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is very effective and good. This course is relevant because it helps to understand concept like business world, and it makes the students industry-ready. The difficulty level of the semester exams is quite impressive and the passing percentage is around 60%.
