I am absolutely satisfied with good infrastructure and corporate staff.

Placements: Many companies and bank firms offered placements in our college. A lot of students got placed according to their qualifications. Different salary packages were offered. Companies and bank firms offered a salary package of 2-3 LPA, and it may vary according to the qualification of students.

The college is satisfactory in all the aspects except few which can be good in future.

Placements: The package offered was around 3 LPA to 4 LPA. The placement cell provides exposure to us through various corporate interactions and guest lectures. Students are grateful to the college for providing satisfactory placements.

The college has highly qualified teachers and good infrastructure.

Placements: In my batch, 40% of the students got placed. The package offered is Rs. 1,20,000 per annum. Our college has a placement cell which is very helpful to students in the placement drives. ICICI, HDFC and IBM are the companies that visited our college for hiring graduates.

DAV College, Jalandhar is cool but a bit old type.

Placements: The placements are not good and many were not placed. 90% of the students were not placed. The highest salary was around Rs. 15,000 per month & the lowest Rs. 10,000 per month. Regal Enterprises visited our college. They offered students the role of writing articles about food. There is a placement cell. It works alright, but not that useful.

Need to improve in placement area.

Placements: The placements here are very bad. We can also say that only 1 or 2% of the placements are there for b.com. Very bad companies come that the students are not even liking to sit in the interview. The students who are selected also, do not join those companies. So from my point of view, placements are very bad in this college.

The highest package offered in BBA is around 8 to 9 LPA, and the average package is 2 LPA. The lowest package is less than 1 LPA. Concentrix, Wipro, BYJU's, HDFC, ICICI etc. All the students are offered internships like Shiksha.Com online internship, Times of India internship, summer internship and many more. Placements: Not even a single company came for placements in our college for our course. For other courses also not many good companies came to our college.

Review of D.A.V. College Jalandhar.

Placements: About 25% of the students from our course get placed at the college. Top recruiting companies like Wipro, TCS and Infosys visit our college for recruitment. Almost all students get an internship all over India and even outside India. Most students opt for master after this course. Even after a bachelor degree, you get ready for industry.

Review of D.A.V. College Jalandhar.

Placements: In the previous year, many students got placed in good recruiting companies and firms as compared to most of the other colleges in our city Jalandhar. Yet it is not appropriate to say that our college provides the best placements. Approximately half of the students got placed.

Overall, it is a good college and has a good atmosphere.

Placements: The placement cell is very appreciable. Companies like TCS and Concentrix are amongst the top recruiters. The average salary offered range from Rs. 12,000 per month to 22,000 per month. The recruitment ratio of our college is good. The placement cell needs to be a bit more improvised.

I am not satisfied with the faculty, bad placements for science students, and infrastructure.

Placements: Students scored an average percentage in academics in B.Sc. in Biotechnology course. The lowest salary offered is Rs. 18,000 per month and the highest salary offered is 1 lac if you are qualified from the renowned college. The college does not provide an internship in our course, and students of commerce stream got more internship in our college.

Satisfied but it could have been more better but all in all it was a good experience.

Placements: No campus placement were there for our course. No internship programme were there. Campus placement were there only for management courses. Students got placed into some good private and government sectors. Some other facilities were there for sport quotas students, like selection in state teams and national teams.

Overall, the college provides quality education, which was good enough.

Placements: Maybe none of the students got placed from B.Com course because only two companies visited our college (such as Nagi Tools, and the other one was a bank). These companies were not good enough (I am not pretty sure about the salary package offered, but it was approximately 3 LPA). Our college was not good enough to visit reputed companies and to offer jobs to us. I started my business in Plywood. Otherwise, I would be free without doing anything.
