Review of DLS PG College Bilaspur.
Placements: I was a student in course of B.Sc. in Biotechnology of the 2021 batch. Moderate placement opportunities you can get after graduating from DLS PG College. You get online as well as offline seminars conducted regularly to give directions to the students about placements, opportunities, and other fields. You have chances to go further studies after graduating from this college or seek job opportunities. Because of regular seminars and placement camps being conducted, you get more chances of getting a job according to stream or you can persued for competitive exams.
Infrastructure: Good infrastructure, starting with a big and classy entrance gate going further is a small garden, newly built classrooms smart classes, well-equipped labs and a laboratory assistant is there always to help you. Easy to access staff rooms and support counters. A stationary shop is inside the campus. The average availability of Wi-Fi connectivity. It is located about 6kms from Bilaspur railway station. Various modes of transport like auto, buses, rapid, or cabs are available. Good hostel facility and average quality of food. The library is also present inside the campus.
Faculty: Well-experienced and skilled teachers and professors are present along with assistant professors and most of them hold doctorate degrees. Experienced technicians and lab attendants are present. Exams and academic curricula are conducted under the guidelines of ABVV (Bilaspur University). Along with that monthly tests are conducted. Regular lab visits are made possible etc. Most students of our batch passed the exam with an aggregate percentage. The pass percentage is around 70%.
Other: Nice support staff, support seniors, and a clean environment are there. Support counters are always ready to work in any emergency in favor of students. Good overview of college with decent studying experience.
