Data Meghe College of Engineering is the best for civil branch.

Placements: This year, several companies visited our college like Marathon, Burn and McDowell, PNB housing, Kalptaru, etc. For the civil stream, they offered the packages of nearly 3.5-4.5 LPA. Nearly 25 students got placed in these companies. It is better than other colleges because there are no placements in other colleges.

Not that much satisfactory.

Placements: Not that great placement as the main branch of this college are civil and mechanical. These two branch have very good placements. Other than that there is very less placement. Placements were very good for 2014-15 batch after that it has declined alot.

Honestly, the decent college who want to learn.

Placements: The college has nice placements. 80% of the students registered for placements, but selection depends on their performance with an average salary of 1.2 LPA offered by the companies. TCS, PnB housing, and McDonnell are some companies coming this year for the placements. About 90% of the students got internships from the college, and there are a separate training and placement cell in DMCE.

Datta meghe- an institute of wonders.

Placements: Placements in the college are decent. Various mncs and mass recruiters keep an eye on bright students. Facility is good. A lot of students get recruited in reputed institutions every year. A majority of students are satisfied by the placement facilities in the college.

Life at Data Meghe College Of Engineering.

Placements: The placements are decent. The opportunities are major for CSE students. TCS conducts pool placement. Initially, TCS used to hire 90+ students, but from the last 2 years, TCS has been conducting pool placement, otherwise, for other companies like Capgemini, it's been the same. This time, Jio was the major recruiter.

Good faculty when compared to other colleges but placements are worse.

Placements: For civil hardly, 4-5 company come over here, and maximum 20-25 students get placed from here. The highest package is around 5 LPA, and the lowest packages are around 3 lacs per annum Mostly a site engineer job is offered and also other jobs like valuator etc., are also offered. Nobody got the internship from our college. The students have to find the internship on their own and then college gives them the compensation in attendance.

Pretty good college if you aim only for studies and placement.

Placements: The college has delineated long term strategy to place Engineering students in renowned Organisations. Training and placement cell functions very efficiently as well as responsibly to insure better campus placement. Roughly 70 % to 80% students get job placements.

Placements: The college is having nearly 50-60% placement. The placement cell is quite good. They college provide best placements for the students of the college. Generally recruited companies are LT infotech, Capgemini etc. The average package of the selected students is nearly 3lacks pa.

We have disgusting faculty members in our college. They do not provide internships.

Placements: The placements in our college were quite good. Some of them got good placements. The placement management is too bad. It provides no internship. For electronics, hardly 3-4 core companies came who hired a dozen candidates, and the rest of them are going to the IT-based companies which are not worth for an electronics engineer.

A true review of DMCE which is Written for complete transparency.

Placements: I'm in SE now, but as per whatever I have heard placements are good. The package lies maximum between 2-3.5 LPA. The placement teachers are supportive. Amazon and many others have visited for different jobs. Civil branch has the maximum number of placements. The case against the college is over, so there is no problem with placements. Now the placement will increase as the B+ grade is given by NAAC Committee a few months back.

Dissatisfied because the placements were not up to the mark.

Placements: The placements in the college have started after 7th semester. The companies like Marathon, Balaji construction, Technip and Kelkar showed up. Only these companies visited the campus for the civil branch while the remaining students were placed in off-campus placements. Hardly 10%-20% students were placed. There is a placement cell, but it's not that effective. When coming to the internship, no internship facility is provided by the college. The highest package was 5 LPA, got by 2 students. The ...

Awesome college experience with the very friendly staff.

Placements: The placements for the civil department have been on the growth rate for last 2 years. Students of our college have got placed at many reputed companies. Placement cell is present in our college which is been very helpful for us. For more details, visit dmce.ac.in.

Dissatisfied with the campus.

Placements: Some basic national companies come here, almost 70% of the placement is there. The salary package is average 2.5 LPA, IT companies like Larsen and turbo, persistent, Capgemini, etc., visit the campus. Overall, 60 companies visited by pool campus and interviews.

Satisfied with the staff. The students got placed in the good companies.

Placements: The placements are good here with 99%. Many good companies come here and offer job when your score is good. My senior batch got placed by 50%. The minimum salary offered was Rs. 2.3 lacs per annum. The internship is available. The stipend provided was Rs. 2000 per month. We even have a placement cell.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of the faculty.

Placements: Most of the people say that there is placement in this college, but no big companies are coming. Even if any company come for student selection, they barely choose one or two students with a lower package about 2 LPA to 3 LPA. The college is good for civil and mechanical engineering, and not good for any other engineering stream. So, beware before selecting this college.

Experienced faculty members and co-operative lab assistants, but slow and crass management.

Placements: The placements were significantly better in 2015-16. The first company to come was Mu-Sigma which was a Data-Science oriented IT company. This company offered a package of nearly 15-18 LPA spread variably across 3 years. They hired at most 2-3 students. The second company to visit was Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), and it is an all-time favourite owing to its reputation, and it is a mass recruiter. Astonishingly, it hired 92 students who were double than that in the batch of 2014-15. The compa...

The college is good for the civil engineering in Mumbai.

Placements: I am studying in civil engineering. The placements for the civil is little good than all the other colleges. Every year, more than 20 students got placements from the campus interview. The packages are not too good than the other colleges. The average packages are offered to the students. The college is now serious about this.

Data Meghe College of Engineering is the best of all colleges.

Placements: The placements are very good. Top IT companies like LnT Infotech, TCS, Capgemini will come every year. LnT took almost 20 to 30 students, and TCS also took the same. Everyone gets an opportunity as not only MNC, but some basic companies too come to hire students.

Teaching quality is good, but infrastructure facilities is not much good.

Placements: The placements in the college are quite average this year. Approximately, 10- 15% of students in eligibility criteria are placed in companies like TCS, Capgemini. These companies are offering a package of 3.5 lakhs per annum package. This year number of companies visited the college is very less compared to the previous years, but the multinational companies like TCS, Capgemini do come every year, and the give the role of an analyst at starting. A look cannot decide the college, infrastructure is not proper but has good academic facilities.

Placements: As civil is a core engineering branch, most of the students are from family business (construction) background. Students who have scored good GATE score are placed in various companies. Civil-oriented companies are less as compared to IT sector. So most of the students opt for private companies or PSUs. The internship depends on the students.
