Experienced faculty members and co-operative lab assistants, but slow and crass management.

Placements: The placements were significantly better in 2015-16. The first company to come was Mu-Sigma which was a Data-Science oriented IT company. This company offered a package of nearly 15-18 LPA spread variably across 3 years. They hired at most 2-3 students. The second company to visit was Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), and it is an all-time favourite owing to its reputation, and it is a mass recruiter. Astonishingly, it hired 92 students who were double than that in the batch of 2014-15. The compa...

The college is good for the civil engineering in Mumbai.

Placements: I am studying in civil engineering. The placements for the civil is little good than all the other colleges. Every year, more than 20 students got placements from the campus interview. The packages are not too good than the other colleges. The average packages are offered to the students. The college is now serious about this.

Data Meghe College of Engineering is the best of all colleges.

Placements: The placements are very good. Top IT companies like LnT Infotech, TCS, Capgemini will come every year. LnT took almost 20 to 30 students, and TCS also took the same. Everyone gets an opportunity as not only MNC, but some basic companies too come to hire students.

Teaching quality is good, but infrastructure facilities is not much good.

Placements: The placements in the college are quite average this year. Approximately, 10- 15% of students in eligibility criteria are placed in companies like TCS, Capgemini. These companies are offering a package of 3.5 lakhs per annum package. This year number of companies visited the college is very less compared to the previous years, but the multinational companies like TCS, Capgemini do come every year, and the give the role of an analyst at starting. Till now, I didn't hear from anyone that they have...

A look cannot decide the college, infrastructure is not proper but has good academic facilities.

Placements: As civil is a core engineering branch, most of the students are from family business (construction) background. Students who have scored good GATE score are placed in various companies. Civil-oriented companies are less as compared to IT sector. So most of the students opt for private companies or PSUs. The internship depends on the students.

Take it and experience it. Not recommended for mechanical.

Placements: For our batch, we got placement for 35% students in various core and non-core companies. The highest package was 3.6 LPA by TCS and 3.4 LPA by VVF in the core field. The college also provides opportunities to go for pool campus held in various colleges. It supports the students in placement after completion of the degree too.

Not the best campus, infrastructure and placement you would want for the money you spend.

Placements: The batch strength was about 170-180, and around 25 got placed. Among the 25, 12-15 were placed in core companies while others were placed in sales or marketing. The packages were ranging between 1.5-3.4 LPA. The college does not provide midterm internship to students. Apart from mechanical and chemical departments, other departments placement were quite good, above 60-70%.

It is a nice economic college in Navi Mumbai.

Placements: The placements in our college, i.e., Datta Meghe college. For the chemical department, the placements are not that much good but are good for the electrical, IT, and computer departments. The placement cell helps students regarding placements and internships offering to the students.

A good placement in the academic year 2015-16.

Placements: The placement cell of the Datta Meghe College of Engineering is very good. CMM level 5 companies visit DMCE for computer, IT and electrical branches. Also for the core-branches, there are the companies like Godrej coming to the college for placement. More than 40% students get placed into good companies every year. I am a pass out of the 2016 batch and got multiple placements from the college. More than 50 companies are visiting the college for the placement. There are also many seminars held by...

Placements: The companies for the placements are L&T, and L&T Infotech for civil engineers salary offered was around 3-4 lakhs per annum, Shapoorji Pallonji salary offered was around 3-5 lakhs per annum. First class students were placed in L&T and Shapoorji pallonji. Design consultancy Atul Bhobe offered 2.4 lakhs per annum. All successful seniors well placed.

One of the good colleges in new Mumbai.

Placements: The placements at the time of my batch were quite satisfactory. Around 60% of the students got placed. The highest package was offered by Mu Sigma company, which was around 15 to 18 lacs for three years, and average package offered was 3.5 LPA. Companies visited at the time of my batch were TCS, LNT, LNT ECC, VVF, Mu Sigma, JSW Steel, Technip, Toyo, Taj Group, MGL, etc. No companies visited our campus for offering internships.

Decent placements, nice faculty.

Placements: Datta Meghe college gives decent placements and IT companies mostly. The highest package was 5 lakhs and the average package was 3 lakhs. Roles which were offered were mostly like IT consultant or support. Some companies came for development also. Infosys, Accenture and TCS were the companies which visited.

Good but can be best in placements.

Placements: Placements for civil are the best. Nothing for any other courses. Even BE computers placement is good. The average salary is 3.25 LPA. Companies visiting are TCS, L&T, Zycus and many more. Many students from various departments get opportunities but there are criteria which many do not fit in.

Satisfied with the quality of teaching, good placements in 2016 and average infrastructure.

Placements: The placement for the year 2015 and 2016 (my passout year) was very good. I honestly didn't expect such help from the TPO department. On an average, about 40-50 students from one branch get placed from the campus. Most of us will be placed for the post of graduate engineer trainee and the salary would range from 2-3.5 lacs. TCS, Capgemini, LT, Wipro, Mahindra and Mahindra are the major recruiters.

Just an average college, don't expect anything good from the college.

Placements: There were very low placements i.e. 15-20%. Average placement package was 1.5-2 LPA but TPO helps a lot for getting good jobs for the students even after their graduation. Very less placements were noted in last 2 years for batches 2015-2016. Average companies comes here for placements.

Very good for computers and IT but not so great for chemicals as the placements were disappointing.

Placements: The placement is not good for chemical engineering, but it’s great for other streams like IT, Electronics, Mechanics, etc. In chemical, only 10% students were placed with an average salary package of 2 LPA. For other streams, the package was in the range of 3.2-4 LPA. Companies like L&T, TCS, Accenture, Tronix, etc. visited the campus. There was no internship from the college. In our batch, almost 75% students were placed.

Try to go for better options. If not, come here but with less expectations.

Placements: TCS was a regular recruiter. However, keeping the aggregate percentage (which was further replaced with GPA), above 60% helps in qualifying for placements for almost all the companies visiting the campus. For finding internships, there was no help from the college. You may find one on your own.

Due to the location of the college, there is a mixture of crowd hailing from cities and suburbs. This college is well known for its civil engineering department because of its exceptional faculty and placement. Since this college was established in 1987, this college is old and well renowned, and it continues to maintain its reputation in one way or the other. There may be some drawbacks like lack of decent canteen, campus area, play ground and dull technical festivals, but if these are not your...

Datta Meghe College of Engineering is located in Airoli, Navi Mumbai. 5-10 mins at a walking distance from Airoli station makes it easy for students to commute though wanting of places to hang around in their leisure time. The faculty and professors are well qualified but "some" just delivering a generalized knowledge among students. DMCE has labs for all the departments with well-equipped machines necessary for each department. Canteen is not to be talked about here. Needs a lot of improvement ...
