Satisfied with the faculty and infrastructure, but somewhere dissatisfied with the placements.

Placements: Around 10% students got placed during the placements drive. The highest package offered is around 5 LPA, the lowest is below 2 LPA and the average package secured is 3 LPA. For my course, recruiters are from banks life IDFC bank and Axis bank. According to my knowledge, around 15% students of my course got internships in various banks. The most commonly offered role is that of junior manager in a bank as B.Com is a banking degree.

It is an average college in Amritsar, but it is good for students who are interested in studies.

Placements: Great placements are provided by our college and a lot of companies visit our campus. Many students are hired by companies. TCS and Infosys came for placements and offered a salary package between 4 LPA - 6 LPA but the highest salary package offered was 8 LPA. That was a good experience.

Not satisfied overall. The faculty can do much better.

Placements: The college needs some improvement in education field, I found that the staff needs to be more concerned about the students. Yes the teachers and faculty members are educated enough, they need to give in more efforts and focus on the students. Never heard of good recruitments in this college.

It is a good college, and I am satisfied with it.

Placements: The academic percentage is not important to get placements as it depends on your skills, knowledge and determination towards your work to get placed. In our biotechnology course, we were offered researchers, scientists and laboratory worker roles. Companies like Wipro, Infotech and many more visit our college to hire skilled students.

The college provides effective education.

Placements: I am not graduated yet, and I don't know the exact numbers of placements. However, it is very good, and every year reputed companies visit and hire deserving students. Placements are in good companies, and the salary packages offered are also very good. Almost 70% of the students are hired every year.

College was average in major facilities but expert faculty kept students satisfied.

Placements: The placements at my college for Bachelor graduates is average, not every student is provided with a job as seats are limited and also the package amount is also not high. It revolves around 2-3 Lacs per annum as an average. Companies like Amazon and some local companies visit here for placements.

Placements: DAV Institute of Engineering and Technology, holds the record for 100% placement every year, that is you can get a decent job easily if you have degree of DAV the packages offered by the companies are less BUT, and many students have jobs in their hands before graduating. Although, the package you get depends on the abilities and other factors like communication skills. Average package of the previous year (2017) was 3.5 Lac.
