Satisfied with the college, according to the fee structure.
Placements: There are very few placements I really like going to the college; they can improve by putting air conditioners in. I have not seen any placements in this college till now I don't know about Punjab University since our college comes under Punjab University.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. The food quality available in the canteen is good. I don't know about hostels but the SCA council do work and tries to maintain everything. It is till now the best college I have seen and I really like going to the college. They can improve by putting air conditioners in.
Faculty: I really like going to the college; they can improve by putting air conditioners. I have not seen any placements in this college till now. I don't know about Punjab University since our college comes under Punjab University. Exams are handled properly with proper actions.

Dav College: pros and cons .
Placements: There are approximately 40 students in every section of B.Com., and there are 4 sections of B.Com. in the college. The college has several internship opportunities and facilities—not very many, but yes. The companies that come in the college are very well known and provide good opportunities.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very well maintained and constructed. Although there are many facilities that can be provided and improved, which the college could work on, the overall experience is good. The hostel, however, is very expensive and not worth it.
Faculty: Exams are held every 6 months and midterms are held before the semester exams. The course curriculum is very relevant and makes the students industry-ready as the teachers guide us through real-world problems continuously and help us understand things properly.

    Everything about DAV College, Chandigarh.
Placements: There is no information about the highest or the lowest packages offered but there is a placements cell present in our college. My seniors have got internships too. The top companies visiting the college include Google.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not so good, it's average like any other regular college nothing fancy. There is only 1 library but it's quite big. Wi-Fi is available in our college. The classrooms are medium sized. The hostel facilities are good and the food provided is also really good.
Faculty: The teachers teaching here are really qualified and experienced. Their teaching level is excellent and the course curriculum is relevant too. It makes the students industry ready. There are many practical skills involved in the course taught by teachers. The semester exams are quite difficult in the college but even then more than 50% students still manage to pass the exam.
Other: I chose this course as I want to pursue Chartered accountant as my profession and I wanted a degree too. I chose B.Com as it has almost the same syllabus to cover. The college can reduce the number of subjects in the course to make it better as it has 8 subjects currently. There are events and fest regularly conducted by the college.

Chandigarh 2nd best college a good place to study for undergraduate courses.
Placements: I am a student of DAV College, Chandigarh, and our college provides placement facilities to students who qualify and meet the criteria for getting placements. There is a placement cell as well. Not everyone gets placed, but students do secure placements. The placement package varies from low to high and can go up to 5 LPA, helping students secure jobs in big companies.
Infrastructure: There are facilities like Wi-Fi provided to students, and some classrooms are equipped with AC. The classrooms are well-maintained and spacious. The library has a good staff and all types of study material for students, and there are labs for specified courses. I am not the one living in the hostel, but my friend, who does live there, tells us about the hostel facilities. They are decent and could be better, but mostly the hostel facilities are satisfactory.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers at Dav College are qualified in their specific streams and they also bring out the best in students. They do not pressure the students with assignments and are friendly with them. They are also very punctual, well-respected, and behave well. Yes, this prepares students for industry work and boosts their confidence. Semester exams at the college are above average, with some exams being quite difficult, which makes them challenging for students. This is beneficial, and out of 80 marks, 28 are required to pass.
Other: I had the commerce stream in my 12th class, so I had fewer options and chose B.Com to pursue. At Dav College Chandigarh, this course is very well taught to students. However, the course should be more practical for students. The college holds many fests, such as Karvaan and Treasure Hunt, and there are many clubs at our college. According to their passions, students can choose clubs like dance, photography, singing, and artwork. Karvaan includes calling major celebrities to perform for the students.

If you want to have fun in life and want to enjoy, then this college is the best.
Placements: D.A.V. College does have a placement cell but there are limited placements and a very low annual salary. There are no internships provided; you yourself have to find one. Well, there are companies like Bajaj, Asian Paints, and Godrej that come in for placement drives, but they provide placement to only one or two students who have extraordinary academics.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is there but it doesn't work. Classrooms are clean and spacious. In terms of infrastructure, D.A.V. College has one of the best infrastructures among the colleges affiliated with Panjab University. Here we have three on-campus canteens and one canteen just outside the gate. Nescafe is one of them where you can hill with your friends and have a cheesy maggi with coffee. Well, till now, there have been no medical facilities provided and sports-wise, especially cricket, our college is at the top of the list.
Faculty: We have a combination of both, the best teachers and the worst teachers and now it depends on your own luck and your section which type of teacher you get. Well, in terms of teaching skills, each one of them has in-depth knowledge in their fields and they are always ready to provide you with whatever help you need. Some of them are kind enough to even provide you with free books for your semester and some of them will never leave a chance to belittle you. Exams are not at all difficult; you can easily pass your semester with one day of preparation; you just have to prepare smartly and strategically. Past-year questions play a very important role; you can see past-year questions in your exams so it is better to get familiar with them.
Other: If you prioritize fun over academics, you should definitely come here, but academically, there are better colleges out there. If you are preparing for any competitive exams, then this is the college you should put as your first priority, as there is no rule of minimum 75% attendance. You just have to pay a fine around 1,000 for it.

Infrastructure: the overall infrastructure of the campus is good with proper maintenance of hygiene and cleanliness. they provide all essential facilities such as medical, sports and NCC also. the gym is also provided. they provide Wifi with high speed internet for some amount of money on monthly basis.
Faculty: the faculty ensure a comprehensive curriculum, blending theoretical knowledge with practical applications. The courses are designed to meet academic standards and industry requirements. Exams are structured to evaluate student's understandings, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, ensuring they are well prepared for professional challenges.
