This is a good college, but I am not satisfied with the placements they provide.

Placements: In my college, every year, the campus placement happens, and many of the students get placed. Mainly, the placement happens only for the IT students like BBA, BCA, MBA, etc. But, there isn't any placement provided to B.Sc, BA and B.Com students. There isn't any specific placement provided to B.Sc-bioinformatics students. But, as my field also has the computer languages, we can go for the placements. None of the students from my seniors batch got the placement.

There is good infrastructure and good faculty. The placement is also good.

Placements: Most of the students got admitted for higher studies like M.Sc in PU, Chandigarh and DAV, Chandigarh itself. No placement is present in UG courses. But in BCA, the college ranks top position, and there is a placement for the students, with an average package offered to be 4 LPA from companies like IBM etc.

Tremendous infrastructure and faculty.

Placements: Our college is not that good for placements. About 10-15% of the students get placement benefit every year, but not more than that. The range of salary lies between Rs.12,000-30,000 only. Many of the national and multinational companies visit our college every year. About 10% of the students get the internship from college. The range of stipend lies between 5,000-10,000. There is a placement cell in our college. It is useful up to a certain level.

The college is very good, so you can join this.

Placements: There are no placements in the college but besides placement, the college is very good if you want to do BA, you must join that college because there is no problem in the college and we all know that in any college, there is no placement for B.A students. So, you can join this college.

Satisfactory facilities, but placement cell needs to be established.

Placements: There are no placements directly through our college. Students have to seek for jobs themselves though many functions are sponsored by various companies, no placements are done for B.A. B.Sc. and other courses except for MBA. Only MBA students have the placement drives.

DAV College, Chandigarh provides an ample opportunities for students to develop their personality.

Placements: The placement cell of DAV college conducts the placements for the B.Com students. Only those students who performed well are allowed to sit in the placement drive. Also, the average salary that was offered in last year's placement was around INR 15,000 per month with the highest salary of INR 20,000 per month. Only small companies came for the recruitments.

A perfect college because of existence of everything.

Placements: There is not much scope for placement as no placement sessions are held in college, but the presence of different societies enable a holistic growth which gives a wonderful CV at the end. The companies don't usually visit the college. The placement is something that is not discussed in DAV, but B.Com department sometimes finds few visit else this a shortcoming of DAV college.

DAV college is one of best college in vicinity.

Placements: The placements of our batch were good. I don't know which companies come to recruit in our college. The overall salary package was good. As I heard from my friends, it's a better option for B.Com and B.Sc. Overall, it gives good care and has a good image compared to other colleges in its vicinity.

DAV college is very good with very good infrastructure and other facilities.

Placements: The placement option is quite good. After graduating from the college, you can get good the job to start your career and for the internship also. As I am from B.Com stream still was able to get a good job in Patym along with that several other companies also visit for the placement.

Overall the college has average ratings with the excellent faculty.

Placements: The placements are average. The college needs to put some efforts for bringing MNC's as well as local IT companies to college for placement. 20-10 percent of the students get placements. The campus placement is not good as compared to PEC and CGC. The internships are also not offered to the students.

A satisfactory masters degree in the DAV's environment.

Placements: More companies should be called for the placements, and proper information about them should be given to the students prior to their arrival as we depend on the jobs after the course completion. Better placements will help us grow more in our lives. Better packaged companies should be called.

Good experience about everything else except for water coolers and washrooms.

Placements: We want more companies to come for placement. A better communication method has to be opted for placements. Half of the times, we are not well informed that companies are coming to the college. More companies should come because, we as a stream, rely on a job after course completion.

Somewhat satisfied with the faculty and the infrastructure.

Placements: The placements were below average around 10% as it happened during the job fests which lasted only 3 -4 days. Moreover, no placement committee is there in the college for the same purpose. The average package offered was Rs. 1.5 lakhs and the maximum package offered was Rs. 3 lakhs. The companies that visited the campus were local ones like the IT call centres from the IT park in Chandigarh, etc. Mainly they are offering either the calling jobs or the lower programmers profile. ...

Partially satisfied because of the placements

Placements: The college provides average placements. For B.Com, the placements are poor. It has collaboration with MTV Get a Job and other local companies from Mohali and Chandigarh. So overall placements are less. The placements for the earlier batch was not that good.

Absolutely, satisfied with 2016 batch because of crowd, facilities and friendly nature all around.

Placements: The placements are not good in our college. Many companies visited here in which 10-12 students got placed. Everyone should get a chance for the interview. They take interview according to the percentage. The average salary is very low, around 2.5 LPA. The companies which visited this year are TVS, Vivo, and Wipro.

Satisfied with the overall facilities provided by the college.

Placements: The placements of our senior batch were good. The deserving candidates got the job. Don't know much details about the salary and percentage of students who got the job. I don't know which companies came to recruit from our college. I don't know what roles were given to them. Overall, there have been a good amount of placements in the college every year, and many students have got campus recruitment.

DAV, the college which needs you.

Placements: The decent placements are provided to the interested candidates in BBA and other professional courses. But there are no placements provided for the B.Sc students. But they can apply for the various drives conducted by the college for the placements. Most of the students go for higher education and not for placement, but if they wish for the placement, then they can get a decent one.

The college has good infrastructure, faculty members and course curriculum.

Placements: Placements facility for the new and fresher students are currently low as not many companies are trying to recruit them. The process has been going on to start. But for the postgraduate student's placements opportunities are there as companies regularly visit to recruit them. The salary package offered here is average.

DAV college is the best college in the north.

Placements: The placement is decent for the candidate mainly in the manufacturing companies, BPO, and KPO. The good package being offered to the candidates. A few students go for the placements; rest are opting for the higher studies. But the one who goes for the placements can get placed in a good company.

The roles offered by the company are human resource manager, marketing manager and sales manager. The highest stipend offered was between Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 20,000.
