Placements: The placement scenario of the college is average. Students have to drive the placement cell in the college which would force the college to get companies for placements. The average placement for this college is around 2.0 lakhs. Companies like ICICI have visited the campus for placements.
Placements: As many companies came to the college, almost 50% students were placed. The salary package ranges from 2 to 3 lacs. The role of a junior manager in various fields such as sales, marketing, HR and finance department was offered to the students. Internship was not provided to B.Com students.
Placements: There were very few companies that visited our campus for the placements. There was no internship requirement in our degree. There were 2 or 3 companies that visited the campus. There was no proper notice given to the students regarding the companies visiting for campus placement.
Placements: The placements of our batch were limited. Only a limited number Of companies visited the college although companies that visited the campus were good. Companies like E&Y, Aircel visited the campus. 20 to 30 percent of the students got placed right after their graduation. Students were selected as assistant manager in their respective company. The highest package offered was near about 5 lacs.
Placements: For placements, I can say one thing. If you are someone who knows how to take opportunities, you won't even need to show up on the day of placements because those opportunities will already be at your hand way before them. But for the placement, it has each type of firm, from local ones to big MNCs like Tata. My seniors are working well even without post graduation. Even I already have my base prepared for heading to any big company based on the experience I gained while being here in the colleg...
Placements: Almost all the students of BCom and BBA courses got placements in good companies like Vivo and Godrej. Our college does not provide internship due to some anonymous reasons. Placements are given to the students by the companies depending on the students' capabilities and intellect level.
Placements: Placements were good in my college. Companies like Godrej, Vivo, etc. offered the jobs to many students with an average package of 2.5 LPA. Roles offered were that if sales and marketing. Our college doesn't offer any internship. The students have to get an internship on their own and some got internships with the help of some social groups working in college like AIESEC.
Placements: Placements of the senior batch were good. Various companies like Godrej, Vivo, etc. visited our college. An average salary of Rs. 25k was offered. Individuals, according to their capability, were provided the internship. Overall, a good number of students were given placements and internship.
Placements: The placements were good enough. A lot of students got selected at an average salary of Rs. 240000 per annum. Companies like Godrej, Vivo, E&Y were among the major companies which offered them work in marketing, sales, and logistics. A few students got internships on their own as our college doesn't provide internships at an average stipend of Rs. 10000 per month.
Placements: Placements were good though they weren't as much as expected. 15-20% of students were placed. Highest salary- Rs. 3 lacs per annum. Lowest salary- Rs 2.2 lacs per annum. E&Y and Vivo were the star companies and many more were there. The students got roles in different profiles such as marketing, finance, sales, etc. The college does not provide internship officially but allows the students to do the same if they want. The average stipend is 9k per month.
Placements: The placements of the seniors were not so good. Only 2% got a good campus placement and 5% are doing a job with their own contacts. Through the campus placement, the highest salary is 30k and the lowest is 15k. Godrej, Vivo, E&Y, L&T, and Airtel were the major companies. Logistics handling, marketing analyst, calling, and auditing were the roles which were offered by many companies to a student after doing graduation. The college doesn't provide any internship. But the students prefer Internsha...
Placements: Placements are okay but the college needs to get more big companies according to its strength because I feel our college has a great potential. We have talent, but the college should work on getting some big companies.
Placements: Campus placements are provided by the college. An equal opportunity is provided to all with a very cooperative environment. My seniors got placed in very good companies with a good pay scale. E&Y and Godrej are among those companies which come to DAV. I don't know much, but if you will give your best, then the world is waiting for you outside DAV.
Placements: Placements for the senior batch were quite less. Around only 20% of the batch was placed with the highest package of 3.5 lacs, average package of 2.8 lacs and the lowest package 1.5 lacs with companies such as Axis Bank, Idea Cellular and Oceaneering. The roles offered were mostly in the sales domain. Students generally do not apply for internships from the college and can intern all by themselves.
Placements: Companies are there only for those who really put effort to get a job. One needs to work hard for the job. Good academics and project work also help in the interview process. We got selected in Godrej process and many more companies were there to recruit people.
Placements: DAV College is a well-reputed college in the tri-city. The campus life and the crowd are good. The placements are average at the campus. Here, after BBA one cannot expect an hot-shot placement. So, I would say that the placements can just be quoted as satisfactory.
Placements: Opportunities for the students are quite good if someone joins this college, because companies like Federal Bank, HCL, Infosys, Wipro, Web N Sec, Bajaj Capital, etc. come for recruitment. Companies of all types come for recruitment process like finance, IT, etc.
Placements: Placements were quite good. Sound organisations like Ernst and Young visit the campus every year. The opportunities for the students are quite good if someone joins this college. All types of companies come there like that of finance, IT, accountancy.
Placements: The scenario of placements is very appreciable in the college. The college itself is highly reputed and the organisations visiting the campus for recruitment purposes are highly influential and prestigious in nature. The average placement rate is around 50%, which is a good number for a degree college.
Placements: No placements in this course. Only the seminars related to physics, chemistry and maths are conducted by our college. Some internship companies visited the college. Placements are offered to only commerce students. During my tenure, I haven't seen any science student getting placed. Only the scholarships are offered to the students on the basis of percentage. Only the management companies visited the college.
