Not great college because of Infrastructure and Curriculum.
Placements: There are almost 100% placements in my college. The highest package now offered was 56 LPA and the lowest was 3.6 LPA. All the top IT companies like Accenture, LTI, Mindtree, Infosys, IBM, etc. come for recruitment. Very less students have got internships. The top roles offered are SDE, Assistant Software Engineer, etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not at all good because there are no Wi-Fi provisions in the college and no proper benches and fans in classrooms. Only the acceptable thing is the library, which has a good collection of books and some equipment in the labs are also old and not functioning properly. The quality of the hostel is average and the food is also not up to the mark. Only basketball is supported the most and other sports least important.
Faculty: Teachers are good but some of them don't have proper knowledge and when it comes to the curriculum it is always rushing to complete each semester. Some of the courses in the curriculum are not at all relevant. Semester exams are medium difficult and the pass percentage is 40.
Other: I chose this course because I was interested in electronics. I wish if infrastructure was better and fests were also fine they're enjoyable only for a few things.

A better place for your future.
Placements: I am currently in my first year. While talking with my seniors, I got to know that, this college can provide a better platform if you work hard, focus on self-study, and gain new skills over 4 years. It provides you with a better platform to get into many good companies.
Infrastructure: The overall infrastructure of this college is good but the prices of hostels are very high. Hostels do not provide comfort and independence according to the price. The college hostel is very strict. People living in the hostel also said the quality of food they provide is average.
Faculty: The college takes our exams almost every two weeks. It can be anything like internals, open book exams, quizzes, or lab practicals. We don't get an ample amount of time for preparing for exams as the syllabus gets over just a few days before exams. They don't give any study leave for exams. Despite that, we have to rely on self-study. Class notes are worthless for exam preparation.

Local dominance: These Kannada people have a regional feeling. People from other states don't join.
Placements: Placements are good. If you study well, you will be placed. People who don't have any backlogs will definitely be placed for at least 4 LPA. People from Karnataka joining through KCET can choose this college. The highest package in 2024 is 54 LPA. The average is 6 LPA.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is the worst. Hostel fee is very expensive, and they don't provide the same facilities (not worth it). Food is okay. They will be increasing the hostel fee year by year. Common washrooms for girls, and no proper care in the hostel. Infrastructure is not good.
Faculty: Faculty is okay. You will be writing exams once a month. A 7.5 CPA is enough for getting placements. Some teachers teach well, but some don't. Semester exams are very easy. You will be asked every question from your PDFs itself. No worries about exams.
Other: For people joining through COMEDK, you will pay more money. This college is not worth that much money.

College is average with a good campus.
Placements: Last year, out of 1,400 UG students, about 1100 got placed. The highest salary package offered is 56 LPA. The average salary package offered is about 6 LPA - 7 LPA. For CSE core, the average salary package offered is about 10 LPA. Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, Tech Mahindra HCL, IBM, and many other companies come for placements. Last year, the highest salary package offered by Microsoft was of 56 LPA.
Infrastructure: The college campus is good. It is spread over 25 acres of land. It has a lot of greenery. We have a decent ground to play. Wi-Fi and labs have been rebuilt this year only and are well-maintained. The hostel fee is a concern. For an Indian hostel, its fee is Rs. 1,80,000 per year for 4 sharing. For an NRI hostel, its fee is Rs. 2,15,000 per year for 2 sharing with attached washrooms which is not worth it. The mess food is average. It is not good but okay. Sports culture is not much in this college.
Faculty: The teaching quality is average. Classes duration is good. The syllabus is not much related to present trends. There are a total of 3 internals in a gap of a month with semester-end. Lab internals are also conducted at the end of a semester. The difficulty of exams is average. They are not much hard and easy to score. The pass percentage is 40%.
Other: I chose CSE Core because of the popularity of the course and placements in it. The syllabus should be improved related to the present trends of the market, not only languages should be taught. Our college is located in the main city and all facilities are available nearby. Two fests are conducted every year named Vibration and Furore. Vibration is intra-college college and Furore is inter-college.

A story of my college: the life there, and after.
Placements: Our college is one of the top colleges in Bangalore. Our class consists of 70 students. The average salary package offered in our branch is 8 LPA. Many companies like Microsoft, Accenture, IBM, Infosys, etc., visit our college for placements. Roles offered are web developer, data scientist, etc.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are spacious. Labs have air-conditioners and some good systems, which work all the time. Chairs are also very comfortable. The infrastructure of the college is very good. It is very calm and green. The mess serves some delicious food. Canteens are also very clean and good.
Faculty: Syllabus is a bit boring but if you learn it is very nice and interesting. Topics we learn are Java, Python, C+, C, etc. We also study DAA, DBMS, etc. Exams are conducted every month. We have internals and semester-end exams which are a bit hectic and boring.
Other: I love robotics and machine learning, so I chose this course. I am also loving it. Students on campus are very friendly, and the crowd is amazing. Fests organised are so fun, and we enjoy them a lot. We do get scholarships like SSP and NSP if we apply.

Is DSCE Bangalore worth it?
Placements: 90% students were placed from my branch, Information Science. The highest package offered in Information Science must be around 35 lakh, and the lowest package is very low, must be 1-2 lakh. The average package is 9-10 lakh per annum. Top recruiting companies are Cisco, Texas, Microsoft, Amazon, PhonePe
Infrastructure: The library offered is very well maintained with a massive variety of books to study and a good healthy environment, with our classroom furnished with projectors. Hostel fees are very high with very bad quality of food. Medical facilities are also very expensive. Sports and games are nil, with no facilities; only events occur where you can take part.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are very helpful, qualified with a Ph.D. degree, and knowledgeable as well. They are very kind in terms of explaining the concept. The quality of teaching is also good. The course curriculum is not at all relevant. Theory subjects should be removed because they do not help develop skills.
Other: This was the best course for which I can contribute to the IT industry with knowledge of coding and web development. Also, the number of companies is much in the IT industry instead of other branches for placements. I think the understanding of coding languages should be more in the course. Events are much awaited, like the fest in college named Furore and Vibration.
