Daynanda Sagar College of Engineering in a nutshell.
Placements: According to Statistics, 85% of students are placed in the CSE branch. And 100% in the Mechanical branch. And around 75% in other branches. The highest package was from the CSE branch as that of 56Lpa in 2023. the lowest package was of 3LPA and an average of 8 LPA in CSE-based branches. Top companies that come are - Wipro, TCS, Accenture, Capgemini, JP Morgan, and others. Some top companies like Amazon and MS Zomato also come with 2-3 recruitments. Around 50-60% of students get internships through colleges, but almost 90% of students get internships.
Infrastructure: College Hostel experience is too nice. ! But expensive at the same time. Indian hostel is not nice but NRI one is amazing. ! Facilities provided in hostel are decent like. Decent Wi-Fi, gym with additional charges, lush green campus, many space to hangout and have fun, multipurpose playground for almost all sport like cricket, basketball, football, separate tennis court, volleyball and all.
Faculty: Faculty are not top-notch, but they are helpful and encouraging. ! The curriculum is not relevant in the first year, but it is said to be nice in the second year. The curriculum is not as per market needs; one has to learn by self. Internals exams are easy, but semester end exams are something difficult. ! Passing percentage is 40% and 85% in the compulsory attendance with can be managed uptill 75%.. .
Other: Everything is decent. If you are getting this college through Management then it is not worth spending that much. From COMEDK it is decent, if you can afford then well. KCET is the best way to enter this college, the 4-year college studies will generate a good ROI for you.

A college with better placements in 2025.
Placements: The placement percentage shown in the brochure is 81%. The highest salary package offered in the passing year 2024 in the CSE department is 32 LPA. But there are a lot of students who get a salary package of 6 LPA. The average salary package offered is around 8 LPA - 9 LPA.
Infrastructure: Our labs, classroom, and library have top infrastructure. We have dedicated labs for every department. There is a digital library on the campus. Students can access the digital library outside the campus. The NRI hostel is as good as a hotel.
Faculty: They have very strict regulations for exams. The mandatory attendance criteria are around 80-85%. Exams are of moderate level. The course curriculum is decided by VTU, and it is relevant to the current demands of the market. Teachers are good and supportive.
Other: Events and fests are awesome. I chose this college because it provides exposure to students.

I am quite satisfied because of the placement offered by the department.
Placements: Ninety percent of the students were successfully placed in the fields of computer science and engineering. The highest package offered is fifty LPA. Some of the top recruiting companies for computer science and engineering are Sony, etc. There are separate rooms for internship training at the college.
Infrastructure: The faculty and the infrastructure provided by the computer science and engineering department are quite impressive. There are separate rooms for lap Practice and theory classes. The canteen in the mess is okay, and the facilities provided by the Hostels are good because they provide Wi-Fi and hot water almost 24/7.
Faculty: Since Dayananda College of Engineering is an autonomous college, the question papers are designed or set by the college teachers themselves, which helps a lot in maintaining a good CGPA throughout the entire four years. Coming on the semester exam They are quite easy.

B.E. in Information Science and Engineering - Batch of 2028
3.4
3Placements4Infrastructure3Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life3Value for Money
Review on DSCE, Bengaluru: Vibrant Campus and Decent Placements
Placements: My branch is Information Science and Engineering. A total of 136 students were eligible for placements out of 138. 97 got placed, and 3 opted for higher studies. The placement percentage is 71.32%. The highest package from my branch was 25.5 LPA, while the lowest and average were 4 LPA and 7 LPA, respectively. Top recruiting companies were Draup, JP Morgan, ANZ, etc. Top roles offered were SDE and SWE. All the students got internships in various companies such as Amazon, Cred, Juspay. The highest stipend offered was 1,40,000 by Amazon.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is really good, and the campus is amazing. The campus is very happening, with something going on every day, for example, sports tournaments, fests, jamming sessions, skits, open mics, etc. The campus is full of trees and gardens, so there are a lot of spots to hang out. The ISE building has well-equipped labs, ventilated classrooms with smart boards, and high-speed Wi-Fi. The library contains a lot of useful books, research papers, and magazines. The library has a closing time of 9 PM. Coming to hostels, they are quite expensive and not worth the money. NRI hostel fees are 2,15,000 per annum, and the food is the worst. But rooms are fine, Wi-Fi is okayish, and there's a sports lounge in the NRI hostel. One can play football, cricket, volleyball, basketball, and kabaddi in the ground in front of the NRI hostel.
Faculty: The teachers are okayish. Some are good, whereas some are really bad. The course curriculum is somewhat relevant, but it does not make you ready for high-paying jobs. You have to upskill yourself to get a good placement. Good placements are generally done off-campus. The semester exams are easy, and the checking is done in a lenient manner. One can get good grades by just studying a day before the exams. The pass percentage is pretty decent.
Other: I chose this course because CSE focuses on both the software and hardware aspects of the computer, and on the other hand, ISE focuses on the software part only. The placements of ISE are better than CSE core, and ISE is the most chill department in the college in terms of attendance, marks, and faculty members, etc. Many things can be improved in the college, such as attendance criteria, fees, mess food, placements, and vacations. Some event is going on in the campus every day, which makes the campus life happening. The crowd is decent. Connectivity is good, as JP Nagar metro station is just 800 meters away from the college. The campus surroundings contain good eateries such as Chain 365, Dwaraka Grand, etc. For extracurricular activities, one can take part in various clubs such as: Aaroha (Dramatics), Aalekh (Art), Trinada (Music), Point Bank (Coding Club).

The review of Dayananda Sagar College Of Engineering.
Placements: I am in my third year of ECE, and from seniors, I came to know that about 75% of students get placed every year. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Infosys, Deloitte, etc., which also offer internships of about 10–20k, and the top roles offered are software development and backend development.
Infrastructure: I am from electronics and communication engineering and am in my third year. In this department, faculty members are pretty average; some are really good and some are not, and the hostels are two, one Indian and one NRI. The NRI hostel is really hi-fi, but the food over there is bad.
Faculty: The teachers teach in the classes pretty well but not really well but they do provide the notes during internal and external exams, which helps students gain marks. The semester exams in the first year are really easy and then it depends on the department in ECE; they are really tough.
