- For admission to PG courses, the candidates are shortlisted either based on the merit list or entrance examination conducted by the university
- The candidates seeking admission to Postgraduate courses are required to have secured at least 50% marks in aggregate in their undergraduate examination
- Candidates seeking admission to M.Phil and Ph.D. are required to take the entrance examination followed by personal interview round
- For admission to Ph.D. and M.Phil, the candidates must have studied the relevant subject in their last qualifying examination.

- While filling the application form they are required to make some payment as application fee

Delhi School of Economics MA admission 2023 will be conducted through the Common Seat Allocation System Portal (CSAS PG) by Delhi University based on the Common University Entrance Test (CUET PG) scores. CUET PG 2023 applications are open and the last date to apply is April 19, 2023. Interested candidates can apply online through the official website – cuet.nta.nic.in. CUET PG 2023 exam will be held from June 1 to June 10, 2023.
Registrations for DSE MA Economics admission 2023 will begin after CUET PG result declaration of the official website – admission.uod.ac.in. As per the DU admission policy, 50% seats will be reserved for DU students, while admission to the 50% seats will be provided through CUET.
- Admission to the course is done on the basis of the candidate's performance in the past qualifying exam and entrance exam.
- Only the candidates who have qualified the entrance exam are eligible to apply for Merit seats.
- The entrance exam will contain objective type questions and there will be negative marking for wrong answers.
- The exam will evaluate candidates on the basis of microeconomic theory, macroeconomic theory, mathematical techniques and probability, statistics & elementary econometrics
- Students applying for MA Economics should score 40% (General Category), 36% (OBC) and 20% (SC/ST) in the entrance exam to qualify
- Separate merit lists will be put up for the reserved and general categories to be admitted through the Entrance Test and through Direct Admissions.
- The admission of students to the course will be provisional and will be confirmed by the Admission Committee of the University only after verification of the original certificates.
