Pros and cons of Delhi School of Management.

Placements: The placements in the college are average, and it offers top placements for its engineering students, only a few companies offer salary packages more than 6 LPA to 7 LPA. DSM-DTU has been a disappointment in terms of placement. Some companies and offers are good, but those opportunities are negligible in number.

The reasons why we want to join DSM for MBA.

Placements: The placements are not up to the mark. Around 10-15 companies visit our campus which is definitely not good for a batch size of 70-90. This is the only factor where I think DSM lags behind. A few companies visit for HR and finance, specifically while a lot of them visit for sales and business development profile.

Delhi School of Management is a budding institute that needs drastic changes for growth.

Placements: The placements solely depend upon the candidates. The training and placement cell of the college works hard to get good companies. Some good companies like KPMG, TCS, Rubique, etc., are regular recruiters. But as previously said, the students are only responsible for their placements. On an average, 60-70% of the batch gets placed. This is somewhat low as the institution is comparatively new. However, slowly and steadily it is building up the pace and will grow to be a good college in a few upco...

Amazing life at DSM, DTU.

Placements: In 2017 batch, 41 placements out of 57 students (Many students went for government jobs as well as PhD) happened. Around 30 companies visited here hiring 57 students. The same percentage also goes for the senior batch as well. The highest salary here is Rs. 10 LPA and the lowest is Rs. 4 LPA. The companies that visited the campus are the KPMG, KGS, IndiaMart, Byjus, Yes Bank, Hyundai, Reliance, TCS, Amazon, Sprinkler, Wazir Advisory etc. Roles offered were of the managerial, associates, manageme...

Thumbs up for the campus life and ROI.

Placements: DSM is a budding brand name. The placements mostly rely upon efforts of students in the placement cell. However, considering everything, on the whole, the college is excellent regarding return on investment. Internship opportunities are good, and the college provides an opportunity for optional winter internships (mostly paid).

You can consider it between Tier 1 and Tier 2. It is good in terms of ROI.

Placements: Students have a good SIP (summer internship programs). The placements are satisfactory. The college is good in terms of ROI. There is very less number of students who opt for HR at present. So, there are positives and negatives. The positive is that there will be less competition. The finance and marketing have good placements record. Experienced professionals have ample opportunities while freshers need to consider all the options available.

The best college in Delhi-NCR apart from FMS where you get best ROI and good education.

Placements: Placements are quite good in the college as the deserving candidates get placed in reputed organisations. Many reputed brands viz TCS, Kpmg, EY and Indiamart are regular recruiters. The average package is around 6 LPA and the highest package stays around 11-12 LPA. Hence, the college has a reputation of providing high ROI.

Satisfied because of the good quality of faculty members and decent infrastructure.

Placements: For senior batch, 85-90% were placed. In my batch 80-85% were placed. The highest package was 9 LPA and the lowest package was 4.15 LPA. Company visited were EnY, KPMG, TCS, IndiaMart, Flyingwheel, etc. The role offered includes product manager, sales executive, finance analyst, content wringing and digital marketing. 100% students got the internships from the college.

Good college with a good ROI.

Placements: I was in the 2013-15 batch. Almost 80% students got placed. Placements are good for Marketing and IT students but not for HR and Finance. Few companies that visited the campus were E&Y, KPMG, TCS, Indiamart, Exponential Interactive etc. Profiles offered: business analyst, assistant manager, marketing, marketing manager, management trainees, sales and HR. Google offered 14 LPA in its pool campus drive. Highest package: 11 LPA Lowest package: 4 LPA Average package: 5.5 LPA Companies that visi...

Not very satisfied, could have made a better choice since it was the last and defining degree.

Placements: The placements for MBA were average, nothing to boast about. Only half of the batch was placed and 85% of those were in the marketing stream. The other specialisations, especially HR and SCM, suffered immensely. The companies had to be called through cold calling and repeated follow-ups.

DSM - A developing B-School with huge potential.

Placements: Students get good placement opportunities. As the batch size is small, the chances of getting placed increases. Average package that students get is 6.5 LPA. Therefore, when we compare it with its fees, which is 2.25 lakhs for two years, then return on investment comes out to be very high as compared to other B -Schools of the same category. I myself got placed with TCS from the college only.

Somewhat satisfied with campus, faculties and placements. It was really great value for money.

Placements: I am from 2011 batch of DSM. W have more than 90% of campus placement and most of them offering 5.5 LPA. Recruiting companies included Michelin Tyres, JDA, TCS, TELCON, Taj Hotels, etc. While TCS and CSC offered lowest salary, TELCON was the top recruiter followed by JDA and Taj Hotels. I was recruited by Michelin Tyres in very first round of placement.

Delhi school management is a very good college and is growing fast. As a government institute, fee structure is affordable and college is good in terms of return on investment. The campus is sounding and the college has a competitive atmosphere.

DSM attracts quite a good quality of students with CAT percentiles ranging from 90-75. The students here are mentored by hardworking and dedicated professional faculty members with good industrial exposure, as the B-School is not about cramming and passing the exams, it is about how to behave and survive in a professional setting. DSM has a dedicated placement committee which is student driven who come in for two years and pass on the relationships and responsibilities to dedicated juniors. Even...

The faculty is very good and always helping. As it is a government college, everything is student driven. We learn a lot because of the same. Department is small but enough for the students. University is 75 years old so it’s an added advantage. Placement and college life is good enough.

The infrastructure is good and the university is very peaceful. The greenery due to trees calms the mind. The layout of the university is very nice. The faculty is very good and cooperative. The fees is very less compared to most of her other MBA colleges which make it worth the money. The placement packages are just average.

The rich experience you get while studying at DSM is incomparable. It has a very well designed curriculum to enable students to get theoretical as well as practical concepts of management. Faculty is highly qualified and supports students for every initiative. With DSM, you get the entire campus of DTU (Delhi Technological University) which again is a big plus point. Students take part in many live projects throughout the semester and internships after the semester. In this way they get a chance...

DTU started MBA in 2009. I know it’s quite new but if I talk about achievements, then I would say its paradigm. DSM has an intellectual faculty with a lot experience of work in firm and teaching. Placements are up to the mark as 35 companies comes every year for recruitment. Apart from studies and placements, DSM is far ahead in extracurricular activities like cricket, badminton, etc. Apart from this, business quiz, seminars and fest held on the same place. Campus is beautiful and elegant. You c...

Delhi School of Management is the management branch of Delhi Technological University. It offers 164 acres of campus space that is surrounded in greenery. It homes all the necessary facilities (library, hostels, teacher's residents, sports, etc.). The college (DSM) is still in its early years but has already earned the reputation of being one of the best institutes in the capital region for management studies with its greatest strength being in providing a value for money education and a high re...

It is just an average college. The faculty here is qualified but not experienced. DSM provides a lot of opportunities to learn many new things as most of the things here are student driven, be it training and placement or various clubs. The college lacks in infrastructure. DSM is just having a single floor on the name of campus, but classrooms are fully air-conditioned and smart. The campus is fully Wi-Fi equipped. Placement is just average here with an average package of about rupees 5 lakh...
