Undoubtedly, one of the good universities for studies.

Placements: Placements in the 3-year law department are not good as compared to other departments of the university as not many companies visit this department for placements. There is a placement cell, but it is not so useful as students are not much interested in going to the corporate sector. Students after LL.B. either go for practice or judicial services.

Review of PUCHD - Panjab University.

Placements: Around 300 students got admission in law. There were two batches morning and evening, and evening batch is being discontinued from now. Students have bloomed their career into litigation, and some of them has joined judiciary while others are excelling in the corporate sector.

According to my review, I love to be in Panjab university because I aimed to get admission here.

Placements: Placement cell is not that good of 3rd-year law department. Mostly in 3rd-year law department student prefer for the judiciary, or they go for practices. Still, we have a placement cell, but that is not effective because no one makes any efforts to interact with companies and invite them to make placement from our department.

Basic information about the LL.B. department and the university as a whole.

Placements: Placements. Are not so useful and good for legal department. Because no one wants to go to small legal firms which don't have potential to make future. Placements are good for other departments like economics, sociology, pharma etc. In LL.B. we learn how to handle a case in front of moot court.

Satisfied with a faculty and teaching techniques.

Placements: Placements are really good. Students do internships under various and renowned companies. Corporate companies hire students. And many students work under renowned advocates. They practice under these renowned advocates. Some students go for judiciary.

The review of UILS in Panjab University.

Placements: The placements are available with the local law firms and off-campus. The placement cell is working, and it depends on the student, who goes for the internship. If the student does well, they will give an offer to the firm, and if the student doesn't work well, he/she is generally advisable for improvements.

One of the best universities in India and students come from all over India and even abroad.

Placements: The placements are good, but at the end, it depends on your ability. I have seen students getting a very good placement here. Even the faculty members are very helpful in getting a good job. In the course of LLB focus is more on own practice, so students prefer their practice rather doing a job but still if anyone wants to get employed in the law firm, there are many companies which come her for placements.

The pros and cons of Punjab University.

Placements: The placements procedure are weak. A few firms visit and hardly 4-5 students get placed. However, that is so for law and the other such courses. The courses like MBA have the good placement record and actions are being taken to improve placement conditions in the last as well, although that could take years. The placement cell exists in every department, so the placement varies from course to course. The reputation of Punjab University also plays a significant role.

University Institute of Laws (UIL) under Panjab University provides full-time professional courses for both undergraduate and postgraduate fields. The campus infrastructure is very good. The library has a good number of helpful books and its classrooms are well equipped and maintained. The faculty is very competitive with high accomplishment levels. Various guest lectures and other such events are also organized which help the students to gain more knowledge. The department lags in placement ass...

The best university. I love studying in this university. Library-AC Joshi library is the best place as one can easily understand each and everything in books as there is pin drop silence all over the library. Student centre is best place for food. From breakfast to dinner one can easily find his meal in a short time.

Best university of this world and the best department of this university. I think I am the luckiest person who got admission in this heaven like a university. Hostel and mess facility is best. Food is just same as we are eating in our home. The faculty is too good. Well trained and educated staff. Love the crowd.

Panjab University is the Law College located in the heart of Chandigarh city. Being in the central location, it makes everything accessible for the students. Also since the law department is located in the PU campus itself so you can easily gorge on the best food available in STUC, the most loved place of Punjab University. The quality of education is good in the college. We have very nice professors and interactions with them makes learning very effective .The course structure is basic and we ...

Panjab University is one of the oldest universities in India. The library of the department is outdated. Old books are kept in the library, few new ones are there but are not allowed to be issued, one can study them only in the library itself. And many important authors are not even available. Most of the faculty only provides bookish knowledge rather than practical knowledge in this degree. The administrative staff of the department is not very much co-operative with the students. Sometimes, ...

I am not satisfied with the hostel rooms.

Placements: In our college, almost 75-80% of students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered was 10 LPA and the lowest salary package offered was 5 LPA. Almost 90% of students got internships.

I am satisfied because of the teachers, good placements, infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Placements are provided mainly for IT branches, but students from other branches can also apply. There is an aptitude test followed by an interview. Infosys, Wipro and other local companies visited our campus, and the number of companies is increasing every year. Still, a very less number of students grab this opportunity just after completing graduation. The placement percentage was quite low last year.

The infrastructure is awesome, and the library facility is excellent.

Placements: The college does not provide placements in the law department. The college provides placements in the MBA and other departments. Generally, students in our university prefer to practice at the high court or to clear judiciary. The study here is awesome, and teachers are also awesome.

University is good and experience giving.

Placements: There is no placement after law. We have to do the practice or study further for the judiciary. Senior has also not got any placement. Everyone is practising and preparing for the judiciary or other services. I don't think the university could do anything for placements as there are no jobs in India. It is the reason a maximum number of students are doing ILETS and migrating foreign countries.
