DBUU Dehradun is a college where you can shape your dreams.
Placements: Almost 80 percent of students get placed every year. The highest package is 48 LPA, the lowest is 4 LPA, and average packages range from 5 to 6 LPA. The companies are Byju's, Daffodil, Tata Consultancy Services, and many more like Decathlon. Almost all the students get internships in companies like TCS, Daffodil, Infosys, and many more.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good, and there are a lot of many lapses for different courses at each department. The college has different schools for different departments. There is also a library for each school, like the engineering school, management school, and hostel. It is for both girls and boys, and the mess is different for girls and boys. The food quality is average, and there is a hospital just beside the hostel, and if you want to play any sport, you can play in the ground in the campus area.
Faculty: The teachers are really qualified for their jobs, and they help many degrees. They are very knowledgeable, and they are very well-behaved teachers, and their interactions with the students are very good, so the students are very keen to learn about new things, and this provides practical knowledge about everything, so the semester exams are not so difficult in this college as we have been provided question banks by the teachers so that we can get good marks, and almost 80% of the students get passed.
Other: I chose this course because the industries are rebounding for engineers. I would like to change lab equipment. There is also a fest named Binoc in our college and Navdhara for the student project. In Navdhara, you can also put up some ideal and get money for the rest.

Decent Campus and Course, But Needs Improvement in Infrastructure and Transportation.
Placements: Dev Bhoomi Uttarakhand University provides a wide range of courses in various disciplines, such as engineering. Though the university is working hard to deliver quality education, the placement scenario in the School of Engineering is not as strong as compared to other Tier-3 institutions. The percentage of students placed is moderate, and opportunities are available in startups, mid-tier firms, and some small companies. Interesting, Microsoft third-party hiring was initiated this year itself, and TCS has started recruiting students, which is a good step ahead. The highest packages are only for a few, whereas the average package remains decent. Internships are also available, but not uniformly and only in areas like software development, testing, and technical support. Overall, placements are okayish and not very good in terms of package consistency, company diversity, and expanding opportunities for all students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for the course at Dev Bhoomi Uttarakhand University is terrible in terms of the basic infrastructure, such as Wi-Fi, labs, classes, and a library, while the quality and upkeep need a lot of improvement. In terms of drinking water facilities, the taps are all broken, and one sees the water coolers sitting dusty for weeks. Sanitary conditions in the university, particularly in the bathrooms, are pathetic and remain as the most pressing concern from time to time. The living facilities in the hostels are average. In terms of amenities, one gets the basic requirements MET but not properly taken care of. Mess and canteen facilities pass by, but the food hardly varies in quality at different times. Medical facilities available are limited, and sports infrastructures are good but relatively underutilized. All in all, campus infrastructures need major improvements in order to better enhance the overall experience of students.
Faculty: The faculty at Dev Bhoomi Uttarakhand University, for the engineering course is a mix of experienced and newer instructors. While teaching standards are decent, faculty turnovers in middle semesters can be highly disruptive to continuity of the learning process. However, staff have been generally helpful and friendly, especially to those eager to learn and seek help. Moderate relevant curriculum that gives the basics of the subject, and still, the students have to rely on other resources in terms of current industry standards for them to be industry-ready. Semester exams are tough but having a question bank helps much in scoring well. Decent pass percentage if the students apply themselves and make proper utilization of resources.
Other: I chose this course because of my strong interest in gaining in-depth knowledge about cybersecurity and its applications in today's digital world. The best part is the foundation approach that really helps build a solid basis for understanding concepts in engineering; however, I wish some modules were more industry-based and there was practical exposure to enhance readiness for the field. The campus is located in a serene environment, set in a jungle-like setting, providing a peaceful and quiet atmosphere away from the city's hustle and bustle. This location is excellent for focused learning, but with its own challenges, including limited public transportation. From long-distance locations, getting to the campus is through private vehicles or reliance on college transportation. The campus, though small, is well-kept and hosts some of the most vibrant and large-scale festivals, making student life lively and enjoyable. Extracurricular activities, events, and the dynamic campus crowd add to the overall experience. Connectivity to the campus could be improved, and expanding scholarships and practical training opportunities would make the experience even better.

Our college is good and has value for money. In 2010, our college had the highest placements.
Placements: Uttarakhand University had the highest package of 40 Lacs in 2010 and the average package was between 5 to 6 Lacs. The percentage of students getting placed in our course is 60%. In our college, many big companies come for placements like Amazon, etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of our university is average as compared to the other good infrastructures available. For the first year students, the University has good classes but in the second year of our course, the quality of the classes became average. Wi-Fi is good in our hostels. The classrooms are average and the library is quite good which is very good for studying. In our college, all the sport activities are performed in a very good manner.
Faculty: Faculty of our college is quite good. Some of the faculty members are good having very knowledge of our course but the other faculty members are not good in nature and they do not have good information about the course. The semester exams are not very tough but you have to study everyday so you can easily pass.
Other: I chose this course because I have an interest in Computer Science and Engineering. Learning about AI and machine learning is the best thing about our course. B.Tech makes you intelligent in all the fields. The improvement needed in our course is that they must delete the unwanted and not required subjects in the B.Tech course. In our college, fest are organized in a very good manner along with many extra circular activities being organised.

Infrastructure: Devbhoomi Uttarakhand University structure supports academic needs. It has well-equipped classrooms that have projectors and other digital equipment. The campus provides separate hostels for both boys. The hostel cost is Rs. 7,000 per month.
Faculty: One of the best parts of being at Amrita is their highly qualified faculty. They have deep knowledge of their respective subjects and will always give you extra information on whatever topic you feel curious about. The course curriculum is revised every 4 years and is up to date with global advancements so don't worry about that. There are a lot of subjects which give you enough idea of industrial applications. Exams aren't that tough, but well for me. They might get tricky for some people if not attentive in class.

Around 70% of the students secure internships at highly influential companies. The top role in my course is data scientist.
Infrastructure: I feel the infrastructure is not very good. Some labs are outdated. The hostel is fine but not exceptional. Sports events are conducted every semester at the college level.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is fine. I believe the course is relevant to industry needs. Semester exams are not very hard due to the course curriculum. Most students are well aware of the syllabus, so they achieve good marks in the semester exams.
Other: I am a B.Tech Data Science student. In my course, I started studying my main subject from the first year as the course curriculum begins in the first year itself.

One can enhance their set of skills well on the campus; they provide well-maintained labs and a library also.
