It is one of the most prestigious institutes in Dehradun.
Placements: It is a good college for placements. Many students get placed every year. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Infosys, Mahindra, Jaro, Cognizant, Daffodils, etc. The salary packages offered are good.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is the best. Facilities like the hostel, labs, canteen, library, sports clubs, etc., are available in our college. The quality of the food served is sometimes average but it is very good. Canteen serves good quality food and maintains hygiene on campus.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are well-qualified and experienced. They guide students to a better future. The course curriculum provided by the university makes students industry ready. It prepares them well for the future. Management of our college should focus on completing the course on time.

I am absolutely dissatisfied because of the faculty, and no smart classes are available here.
Placements: Placements are average. Start-up companies come more often than well-known companies. College helps with internships in good companies. Approximately 99% of students get internships.
Infrastructure: Facilities are good with Wi-Fi. Most of the labs are combined into one large hall, but the labs are good enough and equipment is also available if you want to learn. In the library, most of the books are available. The hostel is average because no TV room or study room is available. Only outdoor games are available. The ground is not big enough.
Faculty: Faculty members are average. Exams are difficult. Teachers are qualified. Most of the teachers have completed their Ph.D. from IIT and NIT. Semester exams are easy. You can pass with the lecture notes. The passing percentage is 33% on the semester examination. Teachers cover the theoretical as well as the technical parts. They can also help students prepare for competitive exams.
Other: I chose this course because I want to study mechanical engineering. The best thing about this course is that it is the core of all engineering branches. In engineering, there are so many assignments that are useless because 99.9% of students copy the assignments from each other. Pinak is the best fest in our college, but the college charges approximately Rs.2500 for the fest. Scholarships are not available. Overall, the college is average.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of placement, lectures and facilities.
Placements: 50% students were placed. The highest package was 2.5 Lacs. The lowest was 1.5 Lacs. Average was 1.8 Lacs. E ASHWA, Kp Reliable, Dixon Technologies are top recruiting companies. About 20% percent students got internship from our course in Houseitt Wesettle company. Very much extra curricular activities are top roles in our courses.
Infrastructure: There are double and triple B.Ed rooms in hostel. Wi-Fi facilities are there. Every month from college you will get 10 GB free Wi-Fi. Classrooms are too good and with projector facilities. Library was also too good with almost every course and out of course book available. The quality of food was sometimes average and most of times below average in hostel mess. The same food you will get in canteen after payment. The charges are almost same to market rate. Some extra cold drinks and dishes you can get in canteen. There are large ground for cricket, basketball to play sports. There are Ayurveda hospital within the campus near hostel where students can avail treatment free of cost. On serious emergency there is also college ambulance. Wardens of hostel are good and are friendlier. Every year sports league was also organised for students.
Faculty: Facilities are below average and qualifications has M.Tech. The teaching quality was below average. You can not expect to qualify any competitive exams with the knowledge provided by the teachers except 1 or 2 teachers. Most of teachers don't know actual concept and on query they just try to convince you with their answers in another way which is not right. So teaching quality is very poor. Course curriculum is not relevant to prepare the student for industry ready. The syllabus taught here is 20 years old in now days to rapidly changing technologies and growth. Semester exams was very easy but lengthy and checking is tough. The facilities will just give you average marks on each questions without just reading answers most of time. You can't match the exams questions with the lesson taught in lectures. Just they will put questions from previous year ese and GATE whose explanations they also don't know. They will just check and match with answers and give marks. The pass criteria also they will keep is 40%. .
Other: I choose the course because I was interested in mechanical engineering. I was just searching for top colleges in Dehradun and got the results of DBIT Dehradun has top placement records. But the reality inside was different. They will invest mostly on marketing and from inside no reality what was told in admission time. The best thing about the course is you can mostly rely on self study and with low attendance you will also be allowed in exams. If they keep good knowledgeable faculty members Ph.D. level which will mostly invest time and effort on students then it can improve the course. Every year Pinak festival will be organised in April month and you will be charged for that around 2000 rupees. Fresher party and farewell party are also organised which are also paid. Scholarship are not provided if you get direct admission. If you came through counseling then some scholarship are there. Games, quizzes are the extra curricular activities organised every year.

The college is good for management courses and B.Tech in computer science and technology.
Placements: More than 100 companies visit the college every year, but most of the companies are for management and B.Tech computer science. Placements for other engineering disciplines are not good. IT companies recruit students from other departments. The placements are very good for management courses. The highest salary package offered this year is 8 LPA, and the lowest package is 3 LPA. The placement rate for engineering courses other than CSE is below 40%. Multinational companies visit the college for placements every year.
Infrastructure: The campus is Wi-Fi enabled. There are separate buildings for every course such as management, mechanical engineering and civil engineering. The library has books related to courses. The medical facilities are not appropriate despite there being an Ayurveda course in the college. There are a canteen and a cafeteria on the campus. They provide nutritious food, but the food provided in the mess is very bad. Hostel rooms are not good and are very small. Rooms are provided on a 3-sharing basis.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified and very helpful. The college gives its best in providing knowledge about the market too. There are more than 200 teachers in the college. They are always ready to help students in every aspect.
Other: A national level fest called Pinak is organised every year, during which celebrities visit the college. Various events such as an international conference are held in the college. Various seminars are conducted by inviting reputed persons every year. The campus is surrounded by a jungle. Scholarships are provided for SC, ST and OBC category students. The technical fest is conducted at a national level, and an event called Roadies is conducted every year.

The college provides all the facilities, and the fee is affordable.
Placements: Not even a single company visited the campus to hire the students of the mechanical engineering department. But Many companies visited the college to hire the students of CS, IT, EC and other branches. The college provides only a few placements opportunities for the students of the mechanical and electrical engineering departments. But you can take part in off-campus placement drives.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very good. The college has proper labs and smart classrooms. Every department has separate buildings and labs. The campus has institutions like Dev Bhoomi Institute of technology, Dev Bhoomi Institute of pharmacy and research, Dev Bhoomi group of Applied Sciences, Dev Bhoomi group of management sciences.
Faculty: The faculty members are well qualified from good colleges and universities. The teachers of the mechanical department are highly qualified, and they are from IIT and even the faculty members of other departments are from good universities and colleges. There are only a few faculty members in some departments.
