A roller coaster Journey of 4 years in DHSK college, surrounded with the best people.
Placements: As it is a government college, the highest package is 7,860 only. In our department there are 45 students. The college offers less placement but it's faculty is good. Students only have to pay departmental feels I. e. 1000 and a examination fees of 2500 and no other extra feels is required .
Infrastructure: As I don't stay in hostel so I don't know about it. But the college infrastructure is good. It doesn't provide Wi-Fi to the students but to the teachers. It has smart boards in each and every class. There are many books in the library. Students can borrow book anytime with a longer period.
Faculty: The teachers here are very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. The teachers are best, they help a lot to the students. The semester exam in the college is quite hard but this is for the betterment of the students and for our better future. Teachers do help a lot so it is not very difficult.
Other: I chose this course because economics is a great subject, we can learn about the economics system of our country. Each and every festivals are celebrated in our college. We have so many games like cricket, kabaddi, football, tug of war etc.
It's a roller coaster journey for me.

Campus life and learning in DHSG.
Placements: As I am currently studying in the first semester, I cannot provide very detailed information about the placements for my batch. However, it is a college that offers a B.Sc. degree, and with just a degree, it can be hard to find a job. Despite this, there are many notable alumni from this institution serving in various fields around the world.
Infrastructure: The overall infrastructure of the college is very good, and the environment is nice, with greenery all around. Some classrooms are fitted with AC, and the departments have Wi-Fi connections. Additionally, there is a great library with digital facilities.
Faculty: The faculty at our college is very experienced and highly qualified. The curriculum mainly focuses on learning various aspects apart from the major subject and provides ample opportunities for students to gain knowledge. The exam pattern is quite good as well.

Mixed vibe of college diaries.
Placements: 50 students on admission were placed in our course. We didn't attend any campus placements at that time. Our course offered a good and different feature for students. We got admission into various universities in Assam. Some of us go through preparation for competitive exams.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure are average for the entire college. The department has a good classroom with smart facilities. It's quite big and sufficient for 50–70 students. The department has no extra library. The department has no extra lab facilities. Medical facilities need to be upgraded. The canteens are quite good. They provide good food. Some sports and games are also good at our college.
Faculty: Teachers are very good, helpful, and knowledgeable. Their teaching skills are very good and understanding. This curriculum needs to be upgraded. Something is missing in this curriculum. Semester exams are quite difficult at this college. The pass percentage is 80%.
Other: I chose this course randomly. I learned about this course from various sources. This course is not good or bad but it is average. Events or festivals need to be upgraded on the college campus. The college authority should be responsible for every single situation in an event. The events and festivals are not well organized by the student union and administration.

Placements: Some of our seniors secured placements in very good colleges, and some took entrance exams for reputed institutions like Delhi University and got admission for M.Sc. The teachers prepare us well for IIT JAM exams and other entrance exams; we just need to study diligently.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is very good, with plenty of space to roam during free time. The campus is surrounded by many trees and is cleaned every day. There is also a pond near the campus and a very large library for us to study.
Faculty: The faculty is excellent and the teachers are quite friendly. Doubt-solving and sessional exams are conducted regularly. The teachers check for any doubts during lectures and explain topics individually if needed.

D. H. S. K College: A Cursory View.
Placements: Since it is an undergraduate course in English, many students have subsequently pursued postgraduate courses from universities nationwide. As far as job offers are considered, several students have opted for internships in fields like content creation and freelancing, while also continuing their studies. The course as such has been quite helpful in the sense that the theoretical and critical approaches offered have helped students to crack entrances like CUET-PG for further studies.
Infrastructure: Two spacious classrooms (with maximum capacities of 100 and 50 students respectively) are allocated for undergraduate students pursuing English literature. Labs are present for courses with practical components. The library is well-equipped with several facilities. A big collection of books is available alongside a reading room where students can study. The college provides for several newspapers and subscription-based magazines which can be accessed in the reading room. Since I did not stay in the hostel, I am not privy to its facilities at length. A medical professional is present on the campus for immediate checkups and first aid. Two open-air courts are present for badminton and a big field lies at the back of the buildings where sports like cricket are occasionally played. The canteen offers an array of items at a reasonable price, although the taste of all the items has not been consistent. A bookstore is available on the campus where students can purchase books at a discounted rate. Two auditoriums are present for academic as well as cultural activities.
Faculty: The faculty is quite knowledgeable and has aided in a critically sound understanding of the prescribed literary text. The curriculum is relevant as the same is frequently updated. The semester exams are moderately difficult. However, the evaluation process should be accompanied by constructive criticism. Students who understand the concepts and reflect the same in their answers score fairly well.
Other: The course proves to be superlative in the sense that it trends towards critical examinations of the world at large and encourages probing into hegemonic structures. The college conducts annual college fests, and occasional talks and conferences. Located in KC Gogoi Path, the college is well-connected. However, during peak hours, tedious traffic jams ensure.

Satisfied with the campus life and also the faculties are quite helpful. .
Placements: There is no placement available in these courses. They only guide the students to take part in different winter school and summer schools. . The faculties shows us different schemes and internship which would be helpful for our future and also for the present.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. The infrastructure of the hostel is good. The college has approximately 70 class room with 1 auditorium and 2 computer labs, 1 library. It consists of 2 hostels, 1 girls hostel and 1 boys hostel with approximately 309 students.
Faculty: The faculties of the college are good as they help each student in every way possible. The exam conductance is also good as it is quite strict. The difficulty of the semester exams can be ranked in 7 as per 10 scale. The course curriculum is good. The syllabus are completed accordingly.
Other: The campus life is good as it helps students to coordinate with each one. Green and the clean campus helps the students to have a peace and a calm mind.
