It is an average college for the B.Com course.

Placements: Our college is excellent. Generally, MNC companies visit our college to give different sorts of bids for employment for different classifications like B.Com, CA firms or an accountant. A large portion of understudies is inspired to seek after higher investigation. Our college gives position preparing to understudies.

Our college is the good educational institution in South Kolkata.

Placements: The criteria are much higher than other colleges as the minimum number to have for studying in this college is 70%. Although every year it changes as per their criteria. When I have admitted to the college for the B.Com honors course the college authority take only 95 students in the class from 2000 applicants. On the college campuses companies like HP, Wipro, and TCS visit for placements that offer students a brighter future opportunity. The college didn't provide any type of internships, altho...

The top recruiter is TCS. 50-60% of students got internships in TCS and Wipro. Management consulting industries come to the college.

It is one of the best colleges at South Kolkata.

Placements: The college is named after Rev. C F Andrew, a celebrated philanthropist and a trustworthy friend of the downtrodden and dedicated warrior of the Indian freedom struggle. When I passed out from college, most of the students passed out with a good percentage. 40% of students passed with 60% and above. The college fee is 25,000 per year, but the college offers a discount if you belong from a poor family. I also get a discount.

I would like to say that it's a good college for education.

Placements: At least 50% of students get placed in the course. The highest package offered is 70,000 per month, and the lowest package is 7,000 per month. 70% of students got internships. B.A, M.A. and M.Sc. courses are offered. There is also an open university on the campus called Indira Gandhi Open University, which is the first open university in India.

It is one of the best colleges in South Calcutta.

Placements: Placements in our college were not that good because it was a college for attaining a bachelor's degree only. You don't get many skills here, but it is very good for attaining higher studies and the course there is a bit study based. But a few companies show their interest in picking up students from the college.

Placements: I think 70% of the students were placed in our course. We need 80% attendance to sit in the exam. I think 40 % of the students in our course got internship. I don't know about the salary.

The college has good infrastructure and faculty but poor placements.

Placements: TCS was the only company that visited the college for conducting placements. Not many students got selected, and some of the students didn't even knew about the placement drives. There were no other placement opportunities for students, especially for B.Com students.

Faculty members are very good, but the placements for science students are zero.

Placements: For our course, there were no placements provided on our campus. So, the percentage of students who got jobs through campus placements is zero. Even for our senior batches, there were no placements. So in terms of placements, Dinabandhu Andrews College is not at all the perfect one if anyone is planning to take admission in any of the science UG courses. But for commerce course, students from some of the batches placed through campus placements.

Companies like ICICI Bank and TCS have visited during this time. There is no placement cell. The placement drives are organised by our senior teachers.

Dinabandhu Andrews review.

Placements: The college is affiliated under Calcutta University. Being a government undertaken institution the fees are really low and in blunt words don't expect any placement from the campus itself. But being a senior pass out I can bluntly say that Calcutta University is recognised all over the country and whenever you sit for an job or academic interview in future you might get a slight hinge of advantage over others.

A very good college with a family type teachers and a high class education.

Placements: Actually, it depends on your result. As it's not a private college, it is under Calcutta University. There is no placement cell. If your result is good, then you shall be offered a placement. There are many scholarships available for a better student, and it really helps a lot.

About my M.Sc. electronics department in Dinabandhu Andrews College.

Placements: There are no options for a job after completing M.Sc. degree in electronics science. There are well-qualified teachers available who help us a lot. In the final year, we have to create a project on a different topic, which has 50 marks in the practical paper. The department has very good classrooms and practical labs.
