Distance Education Department Reviews on Placements, Faculty & Facilities ,Patiala

Placements: In this college, students in our section were around 35. I had not been offered any job. But students in this university were recognised worldwide, so they can get local jobs easily, and if students want to go abroad.

Placements: Placements in our college are average. The minimum salary package offered is 2 LPA, which is not sufficient for a student, in my opinion. Mostly local companies hire the students who get graduated from this course. Overall, placements are not up to the mark.

Placements: Placements are good as per my view. As per my knowledge, 70 percent students get placed from our university. Many of the companies like Amazon, Paytm, Microsoft come here and hire students. The minimum package offered is 2.5 Lacs.

Placements: Placements are average in our college. Infosys is the top recruiter of this institution. The average salary package offered varies from 2 LPA to 2.5 LPA, which is not good. As I am a B.Com student, it is not a good salary package. Nearly 70% of the students get placed, but the salary packages offered are not quite good.

Placements: About 80-90% of the students got placed in many local companies in Chandigarh comes. Some top firms also visit our college to hire students. The minimum salary package offered in B.Com course ranges between 2-2.5 LPA, and it also depends upon students how much they can achieve.

Some financial services companies like Geojit, BNP Paribas, Karvy visit each year and recruit a good number of students, but the majority remains unplaced.

Placements: There are no placements for B.A students of distance education, and I will be graduated soon. Salary packages are not offered for arts stream students as only offered for engineering students, and that salary packages are only between 3.6 to 5 LPA. I am from arts stream, so there is no need to go to college as only 7 days are allowed to come in 6 weeks. Placements: The pass percentage in college is 70%. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA, the lowest is 7 LPA and the average is 8-8.5 LPA. About 96% of students got an internship at Amazon and Google etc. College is very good. I'm happy student to have admission to this college.

Placements: If you want to take admission to our college, you should have 85%-95% of marks in the 12th class. Reputed companies visit here every year. The salary packages depend on your course like science students get jobs in pharma companies and earn a salary of around Rs. 25,000-32,000 per month as a fresher and get increment every year. Many companies visit here every year.

The minimum salary package offered is 2.5 LPA to the B.Com students, which is good, in my opinion. Top recruiting companies like Amazon, Paytm, HUL, IOCL and BPCL visit our campus for placements.

As I am doing B.Com course, and in my opinion, this salary package is good for an undergraduate course.
