Distance Education Department, Punjabi University Scholarships and Funding
Department offering several merit scholarships including National Merit Scholarships are
awarded to the eligible students. Besides this scholarship is applicable for SC/ST category whose annual income not more than 2.50 lakh. For Post Matric Scholarship SC/ST candidate will deposit only Rs. 1235/- for the first year of the course and Rs. 500/- for the second and third year (without gap) including late fee at the time of admission. Any late fee applicable will also have to be deposited by the student at the time of admission.

Placements: Punjabi University Patiala is the best university in Punjab. The percentage of students who got placed from our course is above 80%. Companies visit our university and then select students for IT jobs. The high salary package provided by companies is like 4 LPA. The lowest salary package provided is 1.5 LPA. Recruiting companies here are Wipro, Infotech, Master Software, etc. About 70% of students got internships from our course in companies.
Placements: In this college, students in our section were around 35. I had not been offered any job. But students in this university were recognised worldwide, so they can get local jobs easily, and if students want to go abroad.
Placements: About 6% of the students from our course got placed. The salary package offered here is 2 LPA. Many students got internships in many companies from our college. Managers, financial managers, etc., roles are offered here. Every student did the best. Students are from good families and have a good background. They are helpful in studies and well mannered.
Placements: In our course, students scored above 70% in their academics. In our course, the salary package offered is 3 LPA. About 60% of the students got placed. Top role of business development associate is given. Punjabi University Patiala's recruitment season for the year 2019-20 opened with a remarkable increase in its placement record. It has succeeded in scoring a high note by getting 100 placements done with 366 offers by 36 high profile companies with salary packages ranging from 4 to 12.6 LPA.
Placements: Placements in our college are average. The minimum salary package offered is 2 LPA, which is not sufficient for a student, in my opinion. Mostly local companies hire the students who get graduated from this course. Overall, placements are not up to the mark.
Placements: Placements are good as per my view. As per my knowledge, 70 percent students get placed from our university. Many of the companies like Amazon, Paytm, Microsoft come here and hire students. The minimum package offered is 2.5 Lacs.
