I would recommend any student to join our college.

Placements: As per my knowledge, there are around 10 companies which visit our college every year. But the student has to maintain 65% in all the semesters without any backlogs. I have heard that there are more placements in the computer science department. The least is the civil department. I do know some of the seniors who have got placed in reputed companies such as TCS, Tech Mahindra, and Infosys.

I am absolutely satisfied with the college faculty.

Placements: The placement is not quite well, but if you study hard and make every semester count towards your studies, then you don't have to worry a lot about your placements. When I talked about my senior's, the placement percentage is very less, but those who got placed are in very good positions. Not only the Indian companies but the foreign companies also visit our college. Recently, a company has come to our college and has offered a very good package of Rs. 12,00,000 per annum. At last, I want to con...

Good college to step up for engineering

Placements: Good placements. Many government companies and private companies visited the college. They give placement coaching from the beginning of the 1st semester itself. So, students here are very skilled and they have been placed in good companies. For computer science students, lots of companies visit to place them. There are moderate placements for mechanical students.

A good college, with awesome teachers but the management is not so good

Placements: I actually don't know much about placements but I have heard from seniors that the mechanical branch and the computer science branch has good placements. I don't know about salary and all those stuff because I am not planning to join a core company. But as I saw last year, some companies like Tech Mahindra, L&T and Accenture visited. The management gives special classes for placements from the beginning of engineering and the college will take us to factories and that is it.

Absolutely satisfied because of faculty. Good placements in 2017

Placements: I got placed in a good company containing a high package. The faculty members provided some more other placements from pool campus like they informed whenever they have a pool drive in other campuses. The companies like Tech Mahindra and all visited for placements.

Review of Don Bosco Institute of Technology, Bangalore.

Placements: There is an average placement record in the college. Hardly 35% of the students get placed every year. There was not even a single mechanical company which came for the campus placement. But the CS, IS, EC and TC branches have a good number of companies coming in for the tech support and software engineer profiles.

Really good infrastructure and facilities with good placements in 2017.

Placements: 100% placements are there for all eligible candidates with a minimum of 3.6 lakhs per annum. Local and global companies like Tech Mahindra, Capgemini, Westline, Silver Peak, HCL, Indian Navy, Subex and much more held drives on and off-campus. Overall, there is a good placement record for all branches.

Average regarding everything.

Placements: The placements are not bad. But only pool campus drives take place. Companies like Techsoports visit for placement. Our seniors got well-placed. The students having a minimum of 60% are placed easily but it is difficult for the rest. Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, IBM and other companies also visited.

Disappointed with the placement cell.

Placements: Placement is not good and also not bad. If you have good marks throughout, most probably you will get placed. But mass companies don't come nowadays. Previously, Infosys used to come but for now, not a single mass company is coming who will take like 100 students at a time. So if you are joining this college be sure to get placed ASAP. For my batch, placement was moderate. Almost 40 percent students get placed. The highest salary was 8 lakhs and the average was like 2.6 lakhs, Via.com, Tech-M,...

Review of Don Bosco Institute of Technology, Bangalore.

Placements: The placements in our college for our batch were very good. About 70% of the students got placed by the end of the academic year. The highest package was 7lpa and the lowest package was about 1.5lpa. The average salary was 3lpa and most of the companies offered the package in the range of 3-4lpa. There were many companies which had numerous roles offering for our college candidates, among them I'll name a few- Tech Mahindra, L&T Infotech, Capgemini, Retailon, Indian Navy, Merchant Navy, NTT Data...

The college where you want to study in.

Placements: Placements are good for all the other branches except mechanical as no core companies are coming for mechanical branch. Most of the eligible students get placed in the companies. The highest would be around 9-10 LPA and the lowest is 2.5 to 3.25 LPA. Companies such as Tech Mahindra, Infosys, Indian navy, TCS, IBM, HGS, 24/7, Mindtree, Capgemini and many more placed a lot of students of this college.

Good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: The placement depends on your grades. If you are eligible, then it gives 100% placement. It also depends on the attitude which we show to the interviewer. As it is a good college and many companies come. Mainly, the core branches like ME, civil and EEE have fewer placements but CS, EC and TC have good placements.

It is a good college but some of the infrastructures are still improving.

Placements: There are many companies visiting our college every year. Sixty and above are placed. The lowest salary offered is 1.8 lakhs and the highest is 5 lakhs per year. Tech Mahindra, L&T, some networking companies and some other startup companies visited for placements. Tech Support, Network Engineer, Software Developer, Program Controller and many other roles are offered. The average placements are 60%.

I would suggest all the students to pursue ME from this college because the mechanical branch is too good. The college encourages all the students to learn and live longer in life, that's why I suggest everyone to join this college. I don't know about the other branches but, ME is good.

The quality education is still missing. There are some Professors who are really good but some are just a fake. The Laboratories and Library is really awesome. The Infrastructure is quite awesome. Cafeteria is a nice place to hangout. The education quality needs improvement.

It's an okay college, situated away from the city. The placements was not so good when we graduated. There was no core jobs offered for ECE engineers. But overall the staffs are good and knowledgeable. The CSE branch is one of the best on college with opportunities.

It is a college situated on Mysore road. It is not the franchise of the original Don Bosco Group, so don't get confused. It provides various engineering courses and Post Graduate courses and MBA also. As per the placements in engineering, CSE and ECE branches have a decent placement record and these branches are NBA accredited. College management is also average and students studying are generally from all parts of the country.

It is a good college, located in Mysore road in Bangalore. It boasts of a very good infrastructure. Its placement too has improved drastically from the last few years .Mechanical and Computer Science departments excel. Mechanical department has Research centre too. MBA in DBIT is also doing well and students have got placed in some very good companies. Lot of extra-curricular activities take place throughout the year. Over all it is a very good college.

It's a very good college in terms of infrastructure and ambiance to study but lack good faculties for many subjects .I think the management is gives more importance to BE courses not for MBA. Even in the library we can see lesser books on management subjects.
