Good. There is room for improvement in all areas of the institution.

Placements: Placements for my batch haven't started, but placements for my senior batch were not so great this year as the intake was greatly less this time from what I heard. Available internships aren't properly explained to the students. Good companies come to the college but the intake has greatly reduced.

Great campus, good faculty and a great crowd to hang out with.

Placements: Getting a placement is easy if you maintain your pointer. The major recruiters are TCS and L&T. Many dream companies also come but for mechanical, getting a placement is tough. The college also makes sure to train students before the aptitude test by conducting some training and placement classes.

Proud and happy with my choice.

Placements: Well, speaking of placements, it has not yet started for my batch. But yes, most of my seniors are successfully placed in good companies. On an average (not sure of) I have seen people being offered with a three lakh package and the highest was maybe five lakh. There were no internships offered though but we have great projects offered within the college to work on. These projects have tie up with other colleges like under FOSEE IIT Bombay so you can work on them and gain a great experience! ...

Moderate college with a good culture.

Placements: As far as IT and comps branches are concerned, placements are pretty average with the min salary being around 3L and highest being 6L. LNT Infotech and TCS are the 2 mass recruiters which come. The highest salary for 2017 batch was 6L (SAP). The college provides aptitude training for all. Internship opportunities are also provided by the training and placement cell.

The college is well endowed with studies as well as extra-curricular activities.

Placements: Placements were satisfactory. It recorded 100% placements of all the eligible students. Many companies such as Godrej Infotech, HCL, and other companies have vouched in the potential candidates from our college. The key companies have a huge role in the placements are TCS and L&T.

Best placement in 2015 with awesome faculty.

Placements: There's a lot of opportunities for placement for electronics and telecommunication branch. Almost 85% of people got placed from my class in 2015. Most of the companies offered an average salary of 3-3.5 LPA. The highest salary offered was 6 LPA from Nvidia Graphics. Companies such as TCS, HSBC, IGate, L&T, Capgemini, Infotech were the major companies which came to our campus to offer jobs. The interview stages were divided into four steps which include aptitude, group discussion, technical interv...

We don't have any issue with anything or anyone in the college. It's almost like heaven to me.

Placements: Placements for IT branch Is almost like 100%. The TPO of this college is very good and helpful to everyone. Not only the IT department but every department gets placed almost. TPO gets many companies for placement that means students have various benefits of choosing their dream companies from different varieties of companies and their jobs.

My Engineering: The 4 year journey.

Placements: We had approximately close to 20 companies for our campus placement drive. Some well known and a few Goan startup companies too. We had recruitment drive by Persistent, IBM, Amazon, TCS Ion, Codilar, Decathlon and others. Among Goan startups, we had Genora Infotech, Umang, Anant Infomedia, Fleetrover (now known as Numadic) and others. The highest package was offered by Persistent that is 3.1 lacs while the lowest was offered by Umang at 7.5k. The roles that were offered were software trainee, we...

Don Bosco Institute of Technology.

Placements: Placements are good. Many startups and companies like L&T, Infosys, etc. come into the college for placements. The placements in DBIT are on the well above average mark. Average salary is rupees 15 thousand per month. The faculty would be very briefing about the placements and help them to achieve as much as possible. College also provides internship opportunities for the students too.

Great college for fun and education.

Placements: The placements were pretty good with different companies coming for student recruitment. The salary varied from Rs. 1.8-3.3 lakhs per annum. The only problem was that 90% companies which had come for placements were IT companies. A very few electronics based companies came. So it might be the best option for CS and IT students but not for EXTC and mechanical students. Also, there were some issues with the companies giving wrong details at the time of placement.

Salary and placements could improve.

Placements: The placements went off well for us. Companies like Tata Consultancy services came in for mass recruitment, followed by Infosys, Directi, Godrej Infotech, Hettich, Cap Gemini, Tech Mahindra etc. There were many start-up companies also which came in. Although, it could get better.

Decent in all aspects. Overall, a good bet for moderate marks in 12th and CET.

Placements: Placements for us and the senior batch were good. The mass recruiting companies came as usual followed by many start-ups for IT and Computer fields and very few for electronics and mechanical. Dream companies offering higher packages of around 5 LPA also came but for IT and Computer fields only. Overall, the placements do need slight improvement.

DBIT is a very good college to join for engineering and has a good infrastructure and placements.

Placements: The placements are very good to an extent for 3 branches viz IT, computer science and EXTC. The companies that come for placements include Infosys, L&T Infotech, Wipro, Capgemini, TCS and many more. But for mechanical branch, the scene is not up to the mark as not many core companies arrive. But the few that come are good like Jacobs Consultancies, Sanmar, Anglo Eastern Ship Management etc. But overall, I would say more than 80% for the IT, computer science & EXTC branch and 40-50% for mechanica...

Don Bosco Institute of Technology, a place growing day by day.

Placements: It was good but mechanical branch had to go through a lot of formalities since limited companies visited the campus. Only the best were placed. We had to always explore options. But the placement office was a bit harsh on students. Had his own vague rules which affected many students. That's one drawback.

Should teach practical knowledge along with theory.

Placements: My college is a new college in the field of Engineering started in the year 2012 and my batch was the first batch to pass out in 2015. Since, it was the first batch, big MNCs companies like TCS, Wipro, etc. didn't turn up to my college for recruitment. Around 10% of students were placed. Companies which recruited students from ETC department were Syntel Pvt Ltd, Genora, Infotech, Infosys, GSG Telco, IBM BPO, Hectranet and Mphasis. There were some more companies for other departments. I myself go...

College policies are pretty strict about attendance. Classrooms are quite good, well maintained, and clean. Laboratories are well equipped. I learned more in practical’s than in theory lectures. So I recommend to never miss your practicals here. The canteen is just average. You can have veg as well as non-veg food here. Food quality is also okay. There is a beautiful football ground, basketball court and various other sports facilities. College has quite good library, and you will realize it if ...
