Doon public school - a wonder !

Placements: I did MBA from Doon Business School and it is a 2 year programme so from 2nd year companies started to come. Many reputed organizations such as Oracle, TCs, HCL, Deloitte, PwC, Croma, Xiamoi, Aditya Birla and Panasonic etc. Came from for recruitment. The highest package was 27 Lacs per annum and the average package was of 8 Lacs per annum. More than 95% students got placement in my batch.

The genuine review of Doon Business School.

Placements: The Bachelorette degree here is fair, not good, We have two universities SDS & HNB and 4 sections of BBA the curriculum and subjects are different in both the universities, My experience here is fair, not good I thought the campus would be very happening but that's not the case its quite small and the college also is located in outskirts of the city so the area here is also not that good I would recommend you to visit the campus before taking admission here don't make the mistake I made.

Reality of Doon Business School which is true.

Placements: The college says that for the BBA course, the average salary package offered is 4 LPA. It is just to attract students but it's not true. They confuse us. Never believe what they say over mobile phone or online, they can do anything for admission, and for BBA, I personally felt that only 4 subjects are there still. Every day a minimum of 1 subject teacher is absent and we waste time sitting idle in class.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of management.

Placements: Till now out of 240 students only 10 to 15 students have been placed. The highest salary package 10 Lacs, the lowest salary package 2.8 Lacs, average salary package 3.5 to 4 Lacs. Top companies are Extramarks, Academia, HDFC, ICICI, Goldplus. Top roles offered are management trainee, sales trainee, executive trainee, research associate. It is same as above salary description. Around 50% - 55% students got internship from the college.

The highest package is 3.5 Lacs ad the lowest is 1 Lacs, average package is around 2 Lacs. Not many got placed in our batch around 30 % of batch only got placed (many opted out of placement too). Good faculty, many facilities.

Placements: CDC helps the students in their placements, internships and also helps students to develop their skills. Placements in our college are above average. Most of the students got placed in many companies like TCS, Aditya Birla, Bajaj Capital, and ICICI Prudential, etc. The average salary package offered is 2.5 LPA. A CDC department is available as the placement cell, and they have taken the responsibility of all placement and internships processes. They are also conducting soft skill classes for the...

They don't have the best placements for graduation level, but they have the best faculty.

Placements: Almost 10% to 15% of students got placed in the marketing department with the highest package of 2.5 to 3.5 LPA, and there are least companies for a summer internship. For graduation level, companies won't recruit for an internship. And for placements, they don't allow graduate students for interview.

If a student wants a PGDM degree within budget. Its the best college to take admission.

Placements: Placements were good according to the fee structure. Many companies come for placements and startups too. The average package in this college goes around 3 lac per annum. The highest package in the batch was 5 lac per annum. CDC department is in the college for placements but they don't do that much help.

I would rate the college 2 out of 5. The college is very good, but in the sense of advertising.

Placements: Placements in the college are average. You should not be expecting more than 3 LPA salary package if you want a job from the college. The highest salary package offered will be not more than 6 LPA and the lowest salary offered is Rs. 12000 per month. Overall, I would rate the placements 2 out of 5. The placement process allows you to have 5 offer letters in your hand, but it is not beneficial if the salary provided is not up to the mark in the sense of what you paid to the college.

Merely satisfied with the college.

Placements: Placement opportunities provided by the college are decent and average. Not every student might get his/her dream job, and most of the times you would have to settle with whatever is offered to you. It was very rare to get a job that meets your taste and choices.

Satisfied with faculty, not satisfied with placement.

Placements: Placement is not up to the mark the main issue is they want 100% placement so if you are unable to crack in your feild they will force you for marketing. Placement don't trust and if you want to join brand try to make your own contact. Although they are trying some different strategy to help you to get your dreams company but you should always try to coordinate don't wait for spoon feeding you have to go grab.

An average college with minimum investment.

Placements: The placements in the college are good for marketing but not for finance and HR specialisations. Mostly, marketing companies visited the college. Good companies offering good packages visited the college to hire qualified students. The average package offered last year was around 3-4 lacs per annum. Companies like Berger Paints, Bajaj Capital and many more companies visited the college last year.

My experience with Doon Business School.

Placements: The placements of our college are not that good. It's up to you on how you grab the opportunity. Packages offered will be around 2 to 3 lacs per annum and not more than that. There is a placement cell, and they guide you accordingly. Companies like Wild Water, IDFC, Healthcoco, and UAS International visit the campus for placements. Different types of roles like HR, marketing executive, sales, etc. are offered to students.

Absolutely dissatisfied.

Placements: Not good in placement, conducting useless certification which is just waste of time. Students are treated only as a customer but no good service received. Placement cell department have no use. And you will be charged fine very often from 2000 to 10000 monthly. Please go on fact and figures but unfortunately college maintain fake and relevant placement information in college website. And lastly no respect for the students.

Placements: Placements over here is not that fruitful because at last you have to build it by your own. Maximum package is around 4.5L per annum. Minimum package is around 3 Lacs per annum. Internships are offered from college side but it is not that good offers which students desire for.

Placements: Placement scenes are a tough thing in the college though the college has a separate career development cell in which various faculty members are involved and plus 10-12 student members are also involved but still, overall average package for the senior batch was approximately between 5-7 Lacs per annum.
