I am not satisfied with this college, and it is waste of money.

Placements: There were no placements or internships. Not a single company visits this college. If students want to do M.Sc., then they also will face a huge problem, because this college has no ICAR accreditation, and most of the reputed colleges were not taking students from non-ICAR colleges for M.Sc.

I am not much satisfied, but I also miss my college days.

Placements: As I am from B.Sc in agriculture and horticulture and also forestry, I feel that academics here overall make us job-ready for the outside world. Our college follows VTU curriculum, which tries its best to update the syllabus. Apart from teaching the syllabus effectively, the college also encourages us to work on live projects as part of centre of excellence. Our college believes in learning by doing. The curriculum is structured in a way where we work on projects every semester where we apply ou...

It is an above-average college in Dehradun. The theory provided by the college is the best.

Placements: Our college does not provide placements. You can try for the off-campus drive to get a job. Maximum students are trying to take admission in masters degree after completing this course. After the B.Sc course, the salary offered is not so good. But in this case, experiences are valuable which will help one in next job.

Recommend other students in this college because it provides lots of opportunities.

Placements: No one got placement. After B.Sc. it depends on students where they want to pursue their future. Most of the students are from different parts of our country. A maximum number of students go back to their respective states and get admission to the university for their M.Sc. Many students also prepare hard for competitive exams.

Review of Doon P.G College of Agriculture Science and Technology.

Placements: There are no placement facilities in this college. There are lots of brilliant students in this college, so it is not possible to offer placements. If you find such a college which can provide placement policy, then you can choose it.

The best part of our college is its location and study environment.

Placements: Our college provides internships and placements. But when I passed out, they didn't provide me with the placements and just provided the internship. Through the internship, I got a PPO offer. In the hotel management course, they provide 100% internships. All roles are offered related to the hotel management or hotel industry. They offered me with front office associate.

There are good placements for students.

Placements: Our college is one of the most amazing colleges for all agricultural students. Indofil, Agrostar and many other companies are recruiting here. The salary offered is ranged between Rs. 20,000-34,000 per month. Students who scored at least 65% got a chance in reputed companies. One of the best things about our college is the environment is very good, so everyone can get comfortable quickly.

The college provides average infrastructure with the best teachers.

Placements: I really don't think that this college provides any kind of placements. Only academics toppers get placed. This college provides placements in small scale companies. Students even get internships. Actually, I have just completed my 2nd year. I am hoping to get placed soon.

It is one of the best colleges for agriculture at low fees.

Placements: There are no placements in this college. Some of the students got placed depending on their capability. Very few companies visit the campus. The placement team of our college did not focus on placements. Students have to go to other campuses for placements. The college has tie-ups with very few good companies.

They have to improve in faculty. There is less number of faculty members.

Placements: Placement cell is working well. They almost placed 80% of students from the previous batch. They have better tie-up with companies. Most agriculture-related companies visit the campus to hire students. The average salary package offered is 2 LPA. The highest salary package offered is 5 LPA. Pool campus placements are conducted.

You can study here. This is the best college for agriculture course in India.

Placements: The college assures about placements but they didn't provide it. There are no chances of placements. However, they provide a reference. So if you are capable, then you can get job easily. The college has a tie-up with a company, but they did not provide good salary package. The average salary package offered is 2 LPA which is not that good salary package.
