It was a great experience at Dr AIT.
Placements: Salary packages range from 18 Lacs (the highest) to 2.5-3 Lacs (the lowest). Regular recruiters include TCS and Wipro, but the overall quality and quantity of companies could improve. Placements are decent in stable economic times, but recession significantly impacts job prospects.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure is pretty old, but ongoing renovation aims to improve facilities. The hostel, while decent, comes with a hefty price tag of ₹90,000 annually. Notable positives include: Good safety record Clean and well-maintained hostel rooms Areas for improvement: Food quality is average Strict curfew for girls at 8 PM.
Faculty: It depends; every semester we have new teachers, so some of the teachers are really interested and experienced in teaching, but some act like they don’t care. The syllabus won’t be completely done (nearly 60-70% will be completed by them, remaining will be allotted to the students as group activity presentations); we’ll have to do the last 1-2 units of the syllabus by ourselves.
Other: We have 2 major fests every year - Kannada Kalarava and Sanskruti, along with respective branch fests, where all students come together to celebrate. Additionally, new clubs will be formed, organizing various fests throughout the year that encourage dancing, sports, and other activities.

Our college is very good, and it is one of the top 10 colleges in Karnataka.
Placements: About 96.5% of students got placed in information science and engineering. The highest salary package offered is 30 LPA. The average salary package offered in our course is 7 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Tata, HP, Amazon, CGI, Tech Mahindra, Wistron, Infosys, etc.
Infrastructure: Our college has infrastructure, management members, a hostel, a canteen, a well-maintained campus, labs, a digital library, an indoor stadium, a ground, etc. Our college hostels are good. They provide good and healthy food items to students. Our college provides Wi-Fi access.
Faculty: This institution has very good faculty members. They are well-qualified. They are a bit different from other colleges. They train students well. They have very good knowledge of their departments. It is an autonomous college. Exam papers and the syllabus are prepared by the institute itself. Degree certificates are provided by VTU, so exams are a bit difficult.

An average college with basic academics and an average placement cell.
Placements: About 60-70 % of students get placed in mass recruiting companies like TCS and Wipro with an average package of 3 - 7 LPA depending upon the job role. Some students manage to get good placements through off-campus. The highest package someone got is 25 LPA. The average package of the institution is around 7 LPA.
Infrastructure: The facilities are just basic, enough to meet your basic purpose. The classrooms are average. The library is good enough to support your academics. The hostel infrastructure is above average. The rooms are quite good with above-average food quality. The gym, sports and indoor games are in average condition.
Faculty: The teachers are knowledgeable about the subject, but not very helpful. The teaching quality is good with the basic curriculum. However, it does not make you industry-ready. The semester exams are moderate in difficult level. Anyone who studies well can get above 8+ CGPA.
Other: Campus life is not up to the mark. Some are here to get a degree while some are doing timepass. The fests are not that good. It is just a basic stage show.

    Best for engineering students .
Placements: We have 80 students out of which around 60 got placement offers in college. The college provides placement to very reputed companies which come and take our interviews. We also have startup facilities in the college. The college also works with Google to analyse the data and information .
Infrastructure: The entire college campus and the hostel have Wi-Fi facilities. The library is fantastic, and classes are well maintained. The campus is kept clean. The entire college has CCTV. The college also has many sports teams, NCC, and NSS. There is a canteen also on campus .
Faculty: The college teachers are well qualified and have completed their Ph.D. in universities. Every lecture has a minimum of 15 years of experience in their respective branches, which helps the students. The examination is conducted by the college itself, and they frame the questions according to the new syllabus .
Other: Well, I am interested in mechanical engineering as I choose to do this. The college conducts mainly 3 events, which are really good .

"Strong Engineering Programs with Dedicated Faculty at Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Technology" .
Placements: It was informed that the recent batch had 100 % placements with an average of 7 LPA. The highest package was of 30 LPA and the least package was of 4 LPA. The top recruiting companies are like Capgemini, Amazon, Adobe, Morgan Stanley, etc. Students majorly get internship opportunities through the placement cell specifically present at the campus .
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the building is old. The main building was built in 1980 and it has 4 blocks in it, specific for different branches of engineering, and a separate building was built recently, known as the Silver Jubilee building. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled, some classrooms have smart boards, and the library is on 3 floors, with a floor specially for computerized systems for research and use. There are two messes for boys, known as North and South mess, and the food is provided as the name suggests.
Faculty: The faculty is diverse and has an experience of at least 10 years; most of them are Ph.D. holders, and some of them are M.T.E. holders. The teachers are knowledgeable, but the management lacks the ability to provide basic facilities and maintain them at times. The college follows the VTU curriculum with some specific changes as it's autonomous; the college has the independence to conduct its own exams and papers. The exam structure for each semester has 2 internals followed by semester-end exams, which are mentioned to be tough by our seniors.
Other: I chose this college because it lies in the city of tech in Karnataka (the Silicon Valley of India). The best thing about my course is that it provides wide job opportunities and is related to the global developing sector. I would like the college more if they had better infrastructure and a clean environment in the hostel. Hygiene is a concern. Mainly 3 fests are conducted during the odd semester, which are Maitri, Kannada Kalarava, and Sanskrit. The campus lies in the main city; the connectivity is good as the bus stop is within a range of just 50 m from the main GATE and metro is around 4 km from the college. New cultural clubs are being introduced, which is a good point like the Rotaract club and Under 25, which provides us with wide opportunities and platforms.

Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Technology is good for those who come through KCET
Placements: College placement was decent for CET students. This college will give a good return on investment, but for COMEDK students, not so much. Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Technology is good for those who come through KCET because, for CET students, the fee is very low. The college is government-aided, so CET students get a discount in fees, but for students coming through COMEDK, this college is not worth it.
Infrastructure: Food quality was not good, but in Bengaluru, the price they are asking is manageable. Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Technology is good for those who come through KCET because, for CET students, the fee is very low. The college is government-aided, so CET students get a discount in fees, but for students coming through COMEDK, this college is not worth it.
Faculty: Because the college is autonomous, students have relief and are less stressed about studies. Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Technology is good for those who come through KCET because, for CET students, the fee is very low. The college is government-aided, so CET students get a discount in fees, but for students coming through COMEDK, this college is not worth it.
    Other: No good fests.
