My review on journey of four years in my college.

Placements: It's one of the private colleges. Only4 to 5 IT companies visit the campus for recruitment. Good for CS, IS and ECE with 30 percent placements. Does not provide internship facilities and not organised industrial visits and workshops. Need better infrastructure for training the students in technical and cutting-edge technologies.

The college is very bad, and not even worth a single star.

Placements: No company arrived for the mechanical branch, and the college is poor at placement. First, they fooled us by saying that we provide 100 percent of recruitment, in fact, it was false that not even a single company worth to hire the engineers, even though, they took money for the placement activities.

If you want to be an engineer, don't waste your 4 years in this certificate based college.

Placements: The college has the worst placements. You better not expect for placement as you know Bangalore is not the city for the mechanical engineers, you cannot expect placement from this college. Even, the placement for CSE is not good, so don't expect for the mechanical. But, from 2018, this college started TRG (training and placement) classes, two hours in every week and extra programmes like induction and human value programme. I think this will help up to four years career.

College life at DR. AIT Bangalore.

Placements: The placements are good, but students have to maintain a minimum CGPA to be eligible. The companies like Microsoft, Mind Tree, Accenture, Cognizant, Wipro, Infosys, TCS, etc. visit our campus every academic year. TCS is a primary recruiter for Dr. AIT students. The average salary package is 3-4.5 lacs per annum and goes up to 12 LPA according to your skills.

Not worth of studying here.

Placements: This college has poor placements. I haven't seen any companies visiting this college. The placement in this college is zero. Initially, the college had a placement committee and all, but currently, that has gone, if you are looking for a college with good placement facility, then this college is not for you.

The college is not the best, but this is a good college.

Placements: The placements are increasing every year. The college also provides good training for placements. Still, the students didn't get any information about the placement. Last year, 35 companies visited the college for placements. Many companies visit the college for placements. TCS visit the college regularly and recruit the students.

Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Technology college ups and downs.

Placements: The placements in Dr AIT is not as good as some other aided colleges in Bangalore. Only some couple of companies like TCS and Birlasoft came for the placements. Most of us are still not placed, and in 8th semester, no companies will come for the drive. So, we have to try from outside the campus.

It is the best college for middle class family.

Placements: There are really no placements for non-circuit branches, but high placements for CS and IS branch. They have to pay Rs. 5,000 for it. Totally, it is waste of paying for the placement cell. There are no placements for mechanical and civil branches. Really it's hard to get in for the company. There is no proper training for the placements.

Good faculty and less exposure to sports.

Placements: The placements were good for my batch and seniors batch. TCS, Tech Mahindra, etc., were the companies came to the campus. The salary structure from these companies was less compared to other colleges' placement companies. Most of them were service-based companies. But, the worst part was they take money from the students who got placed, else we won't get final semester marks card. They collected money for the placement training also which was bad.

They have to change a few things as they got the autonomous status.

Placements: The placements were really good when I was there. I got offers from TCS and another company. I took up TCS because it was a good offer. A few core companies turn up too, but it is the mass recruiter where the chances are more. I hope they get a few more core companies for the students, which would be good.

We have a great experience in the college, and the placements and faculty are good.

Placements: The job placements for the students of our college is conducted in every academic year. Our college has a placement tutor where students can get help from them. Many companies like TCS, Mahindra, Wipro, etc., have been coming every year. The placements for the students are increasing every year.

Good college with the best faculty members.

Placements: The placements are definitely good if you can crack aptitude and also for meritorious students, you will go directly to technical round and don't have to appear for aptitude for few companies. The placement officer has changed since the time I left and have heard good reviews for the present one.

The student review of Dr Ambedkar College.

Placements: There is no proper training for the students. A few companies approach the college, and the faculty members are least bothered about the student getting placed. No proper guidance is taken from the students. All we get is TCS that's the only option whichever your branch is. They collect a lot of money for pre-placement training apart from the curriculum fees.

It's good for me and I felt good studying here.

Placements: In my batch, the placements were quite good as we got some mass requiting companies. Every year, most of the people will get selected in TCS, Tech Mahindra and few other companies. It depends on the year of placements as in some years we get some companies and in some other years, we don't get. It also depends on the company and the time given by the college people.

Don't go for this college.

Placements: The placements are not good it is decreasing more and more. This time it has not even reached 200. The average salary is like in the range of 3 lacs per annum which is just average. The only role that the student was offered was as placement officer who resends the information that they get from the companies, but the main problem is that final year students are the placement officers, so they were not able to focus properly on their work. There is a placement cell in the college.

A college which is on the upward move.

Placements: In the college, there are three consecutive batches up to my batch and had placement of 2/30, 2/30, 2/60 respectively in Yokogawa Electric. Few others got into TCS, HP, Unisys, and a few more companies also. In my batch, 10% of the people got placed in HP, 5% in TCS, 5% in Unisys with a minimum salary of 2.4 LPA and up to a maximum of 3.3 LPA.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of the faculty.

Placements: The students of Computer Science, Information Science, and Electronic and communication Science of this college get placed in the reputed MNCs with an average salary package of 3.8 LPA. This college provides a training class for aptitude and the interview for campus placements, and help the students personally in case if they need. Minimum 3 mass recruiter companies visit the college for the placements every year.

Overall, it is a good college to study.

Placements: They take a lot of fee for placement training. It's expected only about 40% to 50%. CS, IS and EC branches are satisfactory in the placements. TCS is the only mass recruiter coming to the college. For mechanical engineering, civil engineering, never expect for core company, try to push yourself into some IT firms on the campus. A maximum list of around 30 companies visits the college. The overall placement looks like it is only for CSE students, but not for others.

It is better to choose Dr.AIT.

Placements: The placements in the college are well provided if you maintain the good academic record. Qualified lectures are available for your better future and placement section is also available in the college itself. I am proud to be the part of Dr Ambedkar Institute of Technology, hope you may get better future.

The college is good but dissatisfied with the placements.

Placements: The placements on the campus are not good. Only TCS visits and takes the mass students for the just 3 LPA as a package. Its waste of time to attend the placements. The college is a good peace place and its autonomous college. The exams are conducted fast than VTU, and far better than VTU. The college helps you to study well. Overall, the placements are the worst.
