Opting for this college is the biggest blunder of my life. Underqualified teachers and 0% placement.

Placements: Not even 10% of total students were placed from any of the previous nor the current batch. Anyway, some of the few startups come to hire, but it's only for the namesake. Few students were placed to work in BPO and KPO with a package of 1.8 lacs per annum. None of the students got an internship from the college, and then there are not enough summer holidays provided so that one can intern somewhere on his own.

DYPSOET is mainly good in studies.

Placements: The placements are normal. The average placement package is 2 lacs per annum, and the highest package of the year in 2017 is 4.5 lacs which are an annual package. The core companies came here for the campus placement and hired by their way of speaking English and way of talking. The companies also need practical knowledge as well as theoretical knowledge.

Good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: The percentage of 2017-18 batch placements is 10%, and for our senior batch, it was 60%. The highest package offered to our seniors was Rs. 4.5 LPA for the Virtusa placement drive offering the role as a software developer. The companies that visited the college were the Tech Mahindra, Virtusa, Ubisoft, Bajajfinserv, Silverlink, Opulent, etc. We also have a placement cell in our college. Also, the training and the placement officer is very helpful and hard-working towards the students' placements...

It has good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: The college campus placement is very good. Also, other facilities are available. The highest salary package was Rs. 10 LPA. Tata Mahindra company visited the college. From our senior batch, 19 to 15 people are placed in the good companies. Many kinds of roles are offered to the students.

Satisfied with college in terms of the faculty, infrastructure and everything .

Placements: Good companies are hiring with good roles. More number of the students are getting placed. The placement cell gives a lot of time for every student to make them eligible for companies. Regular sessions were taken by placement cell regarding companies and how to prepare for them to get placed. The regular extra guest lecture was arranged for motivation.

Very good college to get into, help to self-build and get a good job opportunity.

Placements: The placements at my college are very good. There is a separate training and placement cell which is responsible for the placements of students. The students are given proper training when they are in the third year of their course so that they can face the interview with experience in their final year. There is a T&P coordinator for every branch and every class respectively. Due to this format, lots of students have the experience to give an aptitude test and how to face the GD and PI afterwards...

Illusion of two sides of education.

Placements: We were the first batch to pass out from DYPSOET in 2015. We had a strength of 50 students and I don't recall any companies which came for placements, though we were sent for off-campus placement drives but profiles and packages the jobs offered were not good enough. So on a whole, there were no placements from the campus recruitment. But I am pretty sure now things have changed for the better. about internships, I did get one on my own but I wasn't allowed to pursue as it was not in the college...

Absolutely good for enjoying the college life but you have to fight for placements.

Placements: Most of the students got placed in a logistics company and some got placed in various companies as technical support, but most of the students are willing to get placed in core companies. They may get nervous as the college has still not succeeded in giving a good exposure.

Rising placements every year. Faculty is good, supportive and caring.

Placements: Placements in this college are below average. However, it is growing. Reputed product-based companies are approaching the college but are not able to find deserving and hardworking students. So almost all good companies are leaving the campus empty-handed. This is the situation of college because perhaps the college is very new. The highest package offered - 14 LPA- by Directi the lowest package offered - 1.4 LPA- by ShareChat Gaming companies are approaching the college such as Ubisoft offering...

Too good infrastructure but need some improvements in faculty members.

Placements: Placement cell is good. Many companies have visited this year for recruitment drive. But very few students were placed from civil branch. Placement is good for electronics and telecommunication and computer branch. Few students got placed from mechanical department as well.

The college provides quality education to the students. The college has good teaching staff as they support in academics and co-curricular activities. The college has a nice campus with every possible facility needed for the students. The college has also started some Engineering branches like Cloud Technology and Mobile Computing which is really helpful in future. The placements are good from 2016 batch as many students got placed in good companies with good package. I would rate 7 out of 10 to...

Studying here was a good experience, we got to learn a lot. The faculty was good enough to help us in every difficulty. We had a lot of cultural activities, we also had sports day, traditional day and the gathering at the functions was unbelievable. Also we were easily able to communicate with higher authorities for any issue. The college has tie ups with a lot of good companies. The placements are good here. We use to have many seminars and guest lectures.

It is a good college when compared to other colleges, but it has a dress code.

Placements: Almost 5 to 10% of the students get placed from college. The highest salary package offered was 6 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered 3.5 LPA. Roles offered are as a developer in service and product-based company. Almost 15 to 20% of the students are offered internships according to their knowledge.

Review of Dr. D. Y. Patil School of Engineering and Technology.

Placements: There are no placements. Our batch and previous batch didn't get any placements through college. We are searching on our own. They claimed to be placed in good MNC companies, but they didn't. I will recommend you do not take admission in this college. The fee structure is also very high, which is not worth it.

College is good. And desirable.

Placements: Placement is okay. You will get a decent job if you have proper skills but I would recommend not depending on the College for the placement. Trying out stuff on your own keeping an open mind and eye for development is critical in today's programming world.

There is a gym and a pool in the campus.

Placements: The placements are really good. The companies like IBM, TCS, Eicher and many others came for placements with really good packages. Last year a student got a package of 13 lacs from IBM. The college calls around 30 companies for recruitment.
