A short happy life of success.
Placements: The university is a government college, so it does not offer any placements. However, some institutes visit the college to assist us in getting placements and provide future guidance. The placement facility should be improved more for the better future of the students. The university organizes events and seminar programs to help students understand what they need to do to grow in the future.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure at my college is good. It has a good auditorium, a big sports field, and well-equipped labs. There is also a canteen and a library on campus. But the best thing about the infrastructure is that it provides a good study environment for the students. In addition, the college has NCC and NSS units on campus for student participation.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and friendly in nature. Their teaching quality is 100% good and they easily communicate. The course curriculum is relevant. It is a mixture of mathematical as well as theoretical subjects. The students are industry-ready.

Dissatisfied of organised teacher holidays, great choice for students from weaker section.
Placements: Placed Students - No one in my course B.Sc. (ZBC). No package is offered in UG; in PG courses, placements take place. In UG courses, only students in biotechnology get placements, and that too, only Patanjali and some local companies come to the college campus.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is not present throughout the campus; only in some areas, Wi-Fi is available. Labs are present and functional for all subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Botany, Maths, etc.). Classrooms were not very nice to look at. Libraries are functional, and you can find old books there, which have outdated courses; a few books were worth issuing. You get a library card so that you can issue books. Hostels have not been functional for a long time. The canteen is present but not too good; you get fast food and ordinary food, nothing fancy. There are no medical facilities. Sports and games are promoted well in college, so that is a good thing. Tournaments also take place.
Faculty: It's not a very well-known government college, so you can't expect much. Teachers were helpful and qualified. Teaching quality was not up to the mark as teachers do not get proper time to complete the course due to holidays and extra activities. Course curriculum is relevant. Yes, it makes the students industry-ready. Semester exams are not too difficult in UG courses, but the syllabus is a waste for PG course students.
Other: I chose it because I was interested in botany, and the college was affiliated with Sri Dev Suman University. Also, the college was in my town, so it was near my home. I think the college infrastructure would be much better. Events take place on campus every year. The campus is crowded, and selections also take place at the college. Scholarships are not provided by the college.

My college is good for placements.
Placements: Total 500 student courses and various other courses are there. The highest package is 1.5 crores and the lowest depend on skills of students. Microsoft, Google and various of IT sectors companies come here for placements. 100 percent placement rate is there. Head of biotech and various roles are offered depending upon the skills of students.
Infrastructure: Faculty members are there by the college in Biotech lab and computer labs. Classrooms are comfortable, they are big, and fans are there. Computer is provided for practical. A music room is also given with many instruments. PG facility is also available in campus. Canteen is there for a long-distance student. Games are played, there is a well maintained ground.
Faculty: Teachers are good, they give more time to students. They solve their queries. The quality of teaching is excellent. Students are made brighter in college as teachers help them. Semester exam is of moderate difficulty level. Student who focuses in the class can easily clear the exam and 80 percent is the pass percentage.
Other: I chose B.Sc. because it has a good competition like AFCAT CDS and many, it also helps in practicing calculations first. I have improved my Chemistry because it was theoretical portion, but I can handle it with some practice. Many events held in, and toppers get scholarship. Sports player also get some too. Many activities are held too.

Our college gives good value for money.
Placements: Around 80% of students get placed in our course. Many seminars are held in our college for internships and students who achieve the criteria of the companies are selected. Companies give many opportunities to students through entrance exams and interviews.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Our campus is eco-friendly and very suitable to study. Canteen food is good in quality. Hostels have all the facilities. Library contains all the course related books. Games are organised every three or four months.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are responsible, very supportive, and highly qualified in their subjects. Teaching quality is very good. They help students in their studies and extracurricular activities. They always improve their way of teaching.

Review of Dr. Pitambar Datt Barthwal Himalaya Government PG Degree College.
Placements: It is a prestigious college under the Pauri Garhwal district. Around 30% of students get placed out of 100 students. The highest salary package offered is around 40 LPA, and the lowest salary pacakge offered is 6 LPA. Students get the highest 87% in the semester, and around 76% of students get internships.
Infrastructure: It is a government college so students can guess about the structure of government college. The buildings are old and look unpleasant. But the laboratories and library are well maintained. The quality of food is also good. The medical facilities are also very decent.
Faculty: Teachers of this college are helpful, and they do all the curriculum activities which are needed for students. The semester exams are difficult, but if students prepare very well then they can pass the examination with very good marks. The students have to maintain their practical file work.
Other: I opted for this course, because I want to study more in this stream.

I am not satisfied with placements and infrastructure of college.
Placements: I am not satisfied with the placements of our college as they are very poor. It is not a college that provides opportunity or exposure. None of the students from our batch got placed anywhere. I am very disappointed with the placements, and they need to improve it.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college was average. There are no proper labs and computer rooms. Classrooms and library were fine. There is no Wi-Fi connectivity and proper seating arrangement on campus. The college doesn't have a hostel, medical, sports and games facility.
Faculty: Teachers in our college were good and knowledgeable. They were very helpful, qualified and humble. Their teaching quality was good. They provided so much information on relevant topics. They also focused on current industrial skills. The course curriculum was relevant.
