Amazing campus life, good faculty and average placements.

Placements: Placements in our college weren't that good since it was a new course. We had to fight a lot for placements as most of the chemical companies didn't allow us to attend the placement drives barring UOP and KBR. Even though, as far as I know, the placement scenario now is totally different with better placement opportunities to MBA batch than the normal chemical batch which wasn't there at our time.

Average placements, good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: I got recruited in Byju's-The Learning Application through campus placements. The job profile offered to me was of a business development associate. Placements for my batch were average. The average salary package was 4.50 lacs per annum with the highest package being 10 lacs per annum, offered by Byju's. Roles offered by the companies ranged from technical profile to techno-managerial profiles.

It is one of the best Indian institutes for chemical engineering in terms of faculty and placements.

Placements: Placements in 2015 were decent. Different companies recruited the students for profiles ranging from core chemical engineering to analytics and IT. Almost all the students got placed by the end of the final semester. Reliance Ind is one of the major recruiters.

Partially satisfied with the college, and the placements in 2017 were bad.

Placements: Placements in our college were not good. Only two companies visited the campus to offer placements. Only 3 out of 17 students were placed. Placement officer's efforts were zero. Companies which used to come to the college earlier didn't visit for the last placements. It might be due to the poor handling abilities of the PO. The highest package offered was 6.25 LPA.

Satisfied as the placements and hostel facilities are good, and the education provided is great.

Placements: Placements in our college are good. The average package offered is around 5 LPA. If you are good enough at your studies, you can make the best of possibilities. 70-80% of the students were placed last year. The placement season of this year was started a month ago, and around 10 students got placed in the companies like Exxon Mobile, UOP, Reliance, ZS Associates. Generally, refineries hire the students as GETs, designing companies hire students as design engineers, consultancy companies hire the...

The college is good with good placements.

Placements: The placements in the college were quite good. A number of companies that rarely visited in the past came for recruitment. The highest salary package of approximately 9 LPA was offered by Cairn, and the lowest offered by Infosys was around 2.5 LPA. A few companies like UOP, Cairn, Reliance, EXL, and ZS visited the college for placements.

Worth for the campus life alone.

Placements: The placements for our batch when compared to the senior batches were good but we had to fight for them. Almost every company will offer you CTC from 3 to 7 LPA. Companies include ITC, Cremica, Nestlu00e9, ZS associates, EXL, Zycus, etc. Out of 25 eligible students, 23 were placed.

This college is the best for chemical engineering in north India.

Placements: The highest package offered was around 11.5 LPA, the average was 7.5 LPA, and the lowest was 5 LPA. The placement percentage of the college was 78%. Most of the students who don't get placed are either interested in further studies or qualified in GATE. The moral is if you want campus placements and are hard-working, you will get it.

A great place for studying chemical engineering.

Placements: The placements in our college are the best with the average package being 5.75 LPA. In the year 2017-18, approximately 80% of the eligible students got placed. The highest package offered was 14 LPA by EIL. The major recruiters are UOP, Reliance, Infosys, Vedanta, etc.

The college has good infrastructure and educational environment.

Placements: I did not get placed due to backlogs and less number of placement opportunities as only a few companies visit the department for placement in case of chemical engineering with MBA. There is one rule that, if in any subject there is the shortage of attendance then the students have to re-attend the classes after one year. It reduces the morale of student.

One of the best institute for Chemical engineering.

Placements: The Placements of B.E. Chemical are very impressive. The average package is around above 4.5 lacs. B.E. Food tech has less placements comparatively. The visiting companies of food varies annually. Only 7-8 students out of 30-32 are placed in Food technology while the number is very high for chemical engineering.

I am satisfied with my department staff.

Placements: Many companies come here for hiring the students, and the teachers help to guide the students. The multinational companies come here, and they offer students good package. Also, they give the training in the company. At least, 70 to 80 percent of the students are placed from the campus.

Placements: The placement of DR SSBUICET department of Punjab University is too good every year, especially in the chemical branch, approximately 76 out of 90 students get placed in various reputed companies like UOP, Technip, Petrofac, Bechtel, Jubilant, Reliance industries and many more companies.

Satisfied with the college but some changes need to be made.

Placements: The massive decline of placement in core sector but still has hundred percent placements. The average package remains around 4-5 lacs per annum. The placement for senior batch was better than ours as there was a recession in the oil sector in 2016 and around 80% students were placed. The highest salary 8 lacs per annum and the lowest being 3.5 LPA. The companies related to pharmaceuticals, designing, plants like Reliance and Vedanta are mass recruiters. Satisfied with the college.

Placements: Placement of BE chemical is very good, but BE chemical with MBA is very poor. The chemical branch students get the placement easily, and more companies come to recruit the chemical students. But, it is not the case with BE chemical with MBA students. On an average, not more than five students get placed.

A treasury of knowledge at a low budget.

Placements: Most of the time, 90 to 95 percent students are placed at an average package of 6.5 LPA. The others may not be placed because they opted for further studies like MBA, ME, or want to start their startups, or try competitive exams like IAS, PCS and others. The PR of the institute always helps their juniors.

UIET-Chandigarh review of its B.Tech in chemical engineering, its campus and its infrastructure.

Placements: The placements in the college are good, with an average package of 5-6 lacks per annum. The minimum package offered is about Rs. 4 lacks, and the maximum is about Rs. 8 lacks. Both the core and the non-core companies arrive at the institute giving an opportunity to all kinds of service sectors. The government PSUs like the IOCL, HPCL and ONGC also accept the internship request from the institute.

This institute is very good for people who want to pursue chemical engineering.

Placements: The placements in SSB UICET are very good. The average package in this institute is comparable to lower than IIT and BITS Hyderabad. Here the average package goes around 5-6 LPA. Many highly reputed companies like UOP, Honeywell, Reliance, etc., come for the placements and offer decent packages. Last year the highest package offered was 9 LPA. Almost 80% of the students got placed from college interviews. Last year the lowest package offered was 3 LPA.
