A chemical engineering college worth studying for.

Placements: The placements are one of the highlights of this college. The average package last year was around 5.7 LPA for chemical engineering which is quite high as compared to other colleges. Last year, around 70% students were placed. This year, around 65% students have already been placed. Many more companies still have lined up and the placement this year has been great. The average package is around 5.82 LPA this year with companies like ExxonMobil, UOP, Reliance Industries Ltd, SRF, Technip, IOLCP, ...

Institutes need work, to keep up with the placements.

Placements: The placements so far have been good. Last year, however, a drop was visible. Nestle is one of the main recruiters was on hiring freeze. The companies that visit include ITC, Nestle, etc. The highest package offered is 6 LPA by ITC, and the lowest is around 2.5 LPA. For chemical engineering, placements are brilliant year after year. Many students bag internships in reputed companies like RIL, UOP Honeywell, etc. RIL offers a package of 9 lakhs per annum. The average package for chemical engineer...

An outstanding college with low fee but huge returns.

Placements: Campus placements were quite appreciable for the 2013-17 session. Out of 72 eligible candidates, 62 were placed, hence 86% placement. The highest package offered was 8 LPA and the lowest package offered was 2.5 LPA. Renowned companies like Reliance, Cairn Energy, UOP, IOL, Chambal Fertilizers, ShreeRam rayons, Jacobs, HMEL, ZS Associates, EXL services, Akash Institute, etc. visited the campus. Roles offered to students by companies were mostly of graduate engineer trainee(GET) having the work o...

The second best college in chemical engineering.

Placements: The placement is average this year because of the maximum availability of placed students at just 11. But last time, the placement of food tech was at 94%. The highest package given by ITC of 7 lakhs and the minimum is 1.25 lakhs by Indian Oil and Products. The chemical branch of this department is at the top. Companies like Nestle, Cadbury, ITC, Vedanta, Reliance etc are visiting every year for placements. Overall, your placement is assured if you have good skills. ...

Dissatisfied with the management of our department.

Placements: Being a student of BE(Chemical) + MBA, the training scenario of our department is not up to the mark as we expected. The maximum seniors of our department did not get placements. There is a vast scope of improvement because having maximum vacancies for the BE(Chemical) students, but we are not even eligible for some of the companies.

Totally grateful to have had my studies here and thanks a ton to everyone associated with it.

Placements: I can never forget the essence of the first job which is the product of hard work of the college's placement officers. The college provides placements to about 75% of students of every batch. They focus on technical jobs most of the time. I do believe that my juniors will definitely have success in their life too.

In this college, everything is perfect except placements.

Placements: The placements for 2021 are very low. Only a few got placed from the campus placements. But students can get placements off-campus. Companies like Zomato, Cadbury offer placements off-campus, but don't expect on-campus placements, especially due to the pandemic. Students do not get any on-campus placements.

The college provides a good return on investment.

Placements: Placements, particularly for food technology, are good. The course has a good ROI. The lowest salary package offered was 2.5 LPA, and the highest salary package offered in our batch was 6.5 LPA. Major companies visiting the campus were ZS Associates, Nestle, ITC, Cremica, etc. All students got summer training, but it was unpaid. There is no placement cell, but there were placement representatives from each course in each batch.
