Satisfied with faculty, really good infrastructure, facilities, etc.
Placements: This is a government medical college so no packages are offered here. No one recruiting us. Internship done at our college, not one company hired us. We go to the hospital, and do duty for approximately 12 hours in different departments just as pediatrics, PSM, ENT, etc.
Infrastructure: Dr. Shankarrao's college infrastructure is good. In the college a separate library is available. In the library, enough space is available for students. For different batches different classrooms and labs are available. Proper lights are available here. No Wi-Fi is available here.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. They teach us how to prepare everything. They all are doing masters in their fields. Semester exams teach students what they are in which field & learn how to leave here. This course is relevant to everything in this course we learn how to deal with everything.
Other: Because I like this field I chose it. Events, fest, scholarships, and extracurricular activities are all done here very leniently.

Really a good college to take admission into for MBBS.
Placements: As a professional medical course, there are a lot of chances of getting placed as if the person is well educated and trained. It depends on an individual as to how much he will earn. A person can even earn more by acquiring specific degrees in any field of medicine .
Infrastructure: The college building is really good, as it's newly built. Classrooms are well maintained. The library has a good Wi-Fi facility but it's not an AC one. Hostel occupancy still remains a problem and the infrastructure is not that good. Overall, campus is good and green .
Faculty: The faculty is well trained and helpful. The curriculum followed is designed by MUHS and up-to-date. The exams conducted by the college are conducted as per rules and from time to time. MBBS offers lots of exams throughout the year, such as internal exams and university exams at the end of the year.
Other: The course is really good, as it won't leave you unemployed for most of it. You may feel homesick for the initial days but as time passes and you make new friends, you will really love the college life and enjoyment there.

Just go for it. The college is entirely different from what it used to be 3 years ago.
Placements: After completing the course you need to do 1 year rural service (relaxable in some items) as a bond (signed with state government. ). After that you can freely join any private hospital or government hospital or prepare for higher studies. Considering serious shortage of doctors in country placement is not a problem.
Infrastructure: Talking about infrastructure there is a brand new college building for preclinical subjects and a very big hospital. There is a common library for boys and girls. Separate hostel for boys and girls of UG courses and separate hostel for PG courses. Mess is within each hostel with decent quality of food and service. Also foundation is laid for new UG boys hostel within the campus in early 2022.
Faculty: The faculty is fully supporting and they are highly qualified doctors in their respective field with great teaching (also clinical) experience. Almost every department has resident doctors strengthening the department capacity and also diluting the communication barrier between UG students and professors.
Other: There is an annual college event and annual Ganesh chaturthi event both lasting around 5 days each. College is located on the outskirts of the city but also well connected.

Review of Dr. Shankarrao Chavan Government Medical College.
Placements: Students get placed through NEET UG exam. The stipend offered during the internships is very low, i.e., Rs. 5,800. No such placement cell is available in the college. Intern students are doing the jobs of clerks which is not much good. Faculty members are biased.
Infrastructure: There are no facilities like Wi-Fi, hostel or canteen. Quality of infrastructure is okay. Food available in the hostel mess is according to the state Maharashtra. So, it is a problem for students who are from other states. The hostel doesn't have proper sanitation. A cafeteria is available for hostelers.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful. Although there is not enough development in the hospital considering the equipment and technologies, being a government college is advantageous enough for students. They use boards and projectors to teach. The student to faculty ratio is almost 10:1.

    Overall best experience in life.
Placements: Placements are also very good, during the undergraduate program and exposure to clinics is also quite amazing. Lots of patients and services enable more learning and understanding. Post-graduation also has an important base for learning with a greater number of cases.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is also quite amazing and one of the biggest in the surrounding colleges. The campus is also connected to the university with the roadways and other transportation. Hostels and hospitals are at a walkable distance and can be accessed quickly.
Faculty: Curriculum is according to what is compiled by the university and has experienced faculties with amazing teachings. Classes are regularly arranged with practicals, and attendance is compulsory with a 75% criteria for eligibility and with a high level of laboratory.
