An insight into Dream Institute of Technology.

Placements: Wipro, Himadri Chemicals, L&T are the companies that visit. The management is encouraging students to take part in off-campus drives. They are making us aware of the ongoing campusing around us. They are also arranging various assessment tests for the recruitment of the students. If students are interested, they can ask for the referral for internships.

DIT, Kolkata is such a college in Kolkata where engineering dream comes true.

Placements: The college has awesome placements with top MNC companies, and DIT, Kolkata is the most innovative campus in Kolkata. There are some extra grooming classes which help to get a job easily, and the college provides some training and internship programme for every student. There are a specific training and placement cell which think about making every student placed.

I am happy with this college infrastructure.

Placements: We have got some campus interviews at that time, but most of us got placed by ourselves from the off-campus drive. The average salary range is from 2.4 LPA to 4 LPA. We had one placement cell also. They always try to place students as per their capabilities.

The college is excellent for the students.

Placements: The placement of this college is good. Our senior batch got recruited in the companies such as Hexaware, Cognizant, L&T Infotech, TCS, Infosys, etc. We are provided with the good internships. Hence, it further increases our knowledge in the practical applications.

Dream Institute of Technology at a glance

Placements: The placement system is not that good but not bad too. As it is a private college, no renowned company usually comes to our college for placement purposes. But there are some IT companies which came to our college for last few years. I personally got a job from my institution in an IT company but the company is not good. It is my personal opinion.

Ideal college for people who just want a degree while being economical.

Placements: The placements of the institute were below average in our batch. Only initial rounds of placements happened which enabled nearly 20% of the students in our batch to get placed. Some of the companies which visited our campus were: Armia Systems Inc, Hexaware Technologies, Amazon (support role), etc. The average salary offered was 2.5 LPA, the minimum salary being 1.9 LPA and the highest being 2.75 LPA. Roles offered to students: customer executive, systems engineers, junior engineer Training w...

Placements: Our senior batch will be passing out this year. The students got placed in good companies and got recruited already. They got good salary packages. Webskeet, Hyundai, Wipro, Geeta Jutes- these are the main recruiting partners of our college. Even laterals have cracked interviews and got placed.

Worst college I have ever seen in my life in respect of everything.

Placements: The faculty of the placement department in our college doesn't take any responsibility to provide jobs to the students. The good students are doing jobs in banking sector and the medium students are still searching for jobs. They took Rs. 6000 from us saying they would offer us a good campus placement. There were no such roles offered to the students. Very few students who were very good in studies were only offered an internship. 10% of the students were placed in college campus placement and ...

The college is nice and faculty team is good.

Placements: The placements are good. Many IT software companies, BPO, and startups visit for recruitment. The college gives ample opportunity for the placements and also give classes useful for the placement drive. The average package of the college is 3-7 lakhs.

DIT is one of the premiere institutes in the technical education sector. Controlled and owned by Sarkar Trust, this is a private college functioning under the guidance of MAKAUT (previously WBUT) established in the year 2006. The governance body has Dr. Dipankar Sarkar as Director and his father Mr. S P Sarkar as chairman. The campus boasts of the huge lush green area and provides a good campus life with hostel facility for both girls and boys inside the campus. It has all the basic amenities fo...

College is located in green belt of Western Ghats which is nearly 35-40 kms from Udupi and Mangalore. It has a beautiful infrastructure. Decent faculty is there who do their work properly. Placements are decent as well. Good companies visit the college for recruitment. College's hostel is very good with very good quality and variety of food.

College is good but the Director is one man army or Don of the college which makes the college worst. Poor quality of education. Takes a lot of money forcefully like for fest and other activity. Disgusting, some of the faculty members are really good. O% placement but college shows 100%. No proper industrial training is provided. Overall full money and carrier waste.

One of the Biggest Campus you would find in a WBUT affiliated Institute. Seriously huge Campus. Pros: Campus is huge, Not like IIT or BHU, but Way bigger than most Colleges in Kolkata. One of the best Computer Science faculty, (during my course). Can’t say about current status. Labs are also way better compared of other colleges of the similar category. Fests are conducted in college Campus. Highly disciplined. Highly co-operative people. Most students are well placed through On/Off campus dri...

Just an average college. Only thing it has got is lush green campus and a big building, no infrastructure no proper lab facility. Faculty members are below average and keeps on changing in between semester. Campus placement is almost negligible. Only few get jobs.

Pros: According to DIT posters, Dream is the college where your engineering dreams come true and it is true to a great extent. Dit is among the only few colleges in west Bengal to have been funded for innovations in technology by the govt. of India. It happens to have the best labs in all departments, be it computer science or mechanical. The canteen needs a special mention here as the food, especially chola bhatura and dosa are simply the best you can ask for. The campus is really eco-friendly ...

DIT is situated a little farther from Thakurpukur. That being said, it still is in reach as you will get plenty of autos, cabs, and buses on that route. DIT has the luxury of having one of the biggest campuses in Kolkata. It is bigger than a majority of the colleges you will find in the city. DIT's canteen is well maintained. The food is exceptionally good, especially if you try 'masala dosa'. Take my word for it; it is the best for the price. When I was there, it cost something around Rs. 35. ...

The college is good but the faculty is not so good. The only problem is if you enter the college you will not be allowed to leave before 5. The college is not at all Wi-Fi campus. The college campus has no playground. The library is not good. The college always asks for money for different reasons. I don’t suggest it to anyone.

Our college provides good faculty members, and I like this college.

Placements: Placements in our college are average. Overall, all the colleges are facing the same problem, but when you complete the 3rd year, the college manages to provide you with industrial training, so that students get an idea about the work. Some companies visit our college to offer jobs, but they are not suitable.

Placements: In my session most of the students got placed in big companies mostly it companies. In our college the placement are very nice as compared to other college's. Till the date of writing review the highest packages offered was 7 LPA. The average salary offered to the students is 3-4 LPA. The lowest salary offered is about 1.8 LPA. The top recruiting companies as mainly IT companies which call students for on campus or off campus selection. Companies like TCS, Infosys wipro come here. College tries ...
