Good for learning and best for placements.

Placements: A minimum of 80% of students got placed on the college campus. We got near about 4 to 8 lacs approximately. Tata Voltas, Bajaj electrical, Wipro, TCS and Capgemini also come to our college. 20% of students are going to join internships in TCS and Wipro. Embedded engineer, software developer, and production line control engineer posts are offered.

Teachers here are very good, and the campus is also very good.

Placements: Camellia School of Engineering and Technology is a very good college for engineering, and its campus is also very good. Our college also offered a diploma in civil and mechanical engineering. Discipline is the most priority of our college. So students are very good and disciplined.

It is the best engineering college with good faculty members, infrastructure and proper placements.

Placements: Most of the students got placed on-campus. Some top companies come to hire students. Most of the students are satisfied with the campusing. Most of the companies are IT companies and the salary packages offered are good for freshers.

Overall our college is good.

Placements: About 75% of the students get placed. The highest salary package offered was 24 LPA. The lowest salary offered is Rs. 72,000 per annum. Flipkart is the top recruiting company. Roles of installing and maintain wiring, control, and lighting system are offered. There were companies which conducted the entry-level exam in our college, but none of them got selected.

Review of Camellia School of Engineering and Technology (CSET).

Placements: Very poor placements. During our batch, almost 95% of the batch graduated without getting offers from companies. And this wasn't because of the poor quality of students. Rather, it was about the incapability of the college authorities to win the confidence of companies. With very poor infrastructure, it was more about duping the students than providing them education.

The placements were bad in CE during our time. The infrastructure is good.

Placements: When I joined the college, the placements were good. At that time, our seniors got many jobs in different companies. Salary package offered was 2 LPA to 5 LPA. Construction based, national companies visit the college for placements. But in 2017, the placements were very low. In our department, the placements are very low, but, the placements are provided for other departments.

A school for adopting new ways of learning.

Placements: The chance to get placed from this college is very poor. The management will try to organise some drives for you, so try to put extra efforts on your analytical skills which might help you to get a chance directly from the college. Prepare yourself for some off-campus drives organised by this college.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of placements.

Placements: None of the candidate was placed from our batch. Some were placed in our senior batch but were not landed up with a good job. The highest salary offered is nearly 3LPA, the lowest is 1.5LPA and average is 2.4LPA. Maximum BPO companies visited like wipro BPO (NOT IT). Executive roles were offered. None from my batch got internship from college. Placement cell is there which is of no use. I don't understand why placement officer gets salary from college doing nothing.

Don't let your career in trouble.

Placements: You can get placements, but you can't expect much out of it. Be prepared to write other exams like Amcat and Elitmus. It's better to do some courses related to computer languages. You can not expect high packages from this college. You need to compromise with low pay packages.

A review of Camellia School of Engineering and Technology.

Placements: They give placements, but the number of students that get picked is less. There have been many fake companies, beware of that. TPO is not good. The director is a very good man. Some teaching staff are making this college the worst. They are not providing any placements now because the level of education of the students is going down day by day. I would rather request you to join Techno India College or IEM rather than joining this college.

Worst institute in my whole life.

Placements: TOP only can see BPO jobs. No core companies came till now. The director is also like TPO. If you can able to pass in off-campus, you will get a job, otherwise, the college will not help you. They do not provide internships. Even any training partner come to the college to offer external courses at low cost then TPO ask him what commision will be given.

About CSET (Camellia School of Engineering and Technology).

Placements: They say that "We make students perfect for the job", but they don't give job. I say that if there are only 2 to 3 faculty in a stream, then how can they make a good student? Only they just inform us about the pool campus drives, BPS & BPO jobs. Even TPO does not go to the pool campus place. If you ask seniors, they suggest you "Do not depend on the college for your career or Job". They don't publish the real percentage of placed students. "Internship from college"? Forget it. TPO will not help ...

Absolutely dis-satisfied because of placements and faculty.

Placements: The placement was not so good for all the batches. Average 5 to 10% students got placed from college with average package of 2.4 lacks. Companies like Kaikan Ford, Tribeni turbines, Insinc visited the college. Most of them offered the marketing oriented jobs.

If anyone wants to get admission to this college, I suggest that you don't. Even after 7 years of its opening, the building is still under construction. Our faculty members are not getting their salary so most of them are leaving the college and the rest do not want to take classes. Our director is a useless man and he does not have the guts to command or take control of any situation. This college will literally give admission to anyone who is willing to pay money overlooking important things s...

Not to say the best college, but still it is very good, I am from the civil department. The faculty members are best especially in my stream as well as core departments. Though, the campus and placement is still not as good as the other colleges, but as all we know there is no job in west bengal, but a huge number of students got placed in Simplex, Bhuson power steel, Sew Infrastructure, from the 2013 and 2014 batches. The ECE and IT streams are also good and had/have average campussing. But the...
