DSMS Group of Institutions Reviews on Placements, Faculty & Facilities ,Durgapur

Placements: The placements provided for BBA students are mostly in sales profiles or marketing, and those jobs don't offer fixed income. They don't provide those appealing placement options. Although these days they have started their placement drive and improved it, I am talking about 2022 when there was not many good placements.

Placements: Around 22 out of 25 students got placed in our college in companies like Cognizant, TCS, and Wipro. The highest salary offered is Rs. 30,000 per month. The average salary offered is Rs. 15,000 per month, and the lowest salary offered is Rs. 12,000 per month. Students have to find internships themselves. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, etc. Top roles offered are web developer, software developer, data analyst, etc.

Placements: Almost 50% of students were placed in BCA; the highest salary offered was up to 250,000 LPA, and the lowest was 100,000 LPA. Companies like Cognizant, Ardent, TCS, Wipro, Deloitte, etc., are the top recruiting companies. Almost 65% of students got internships at Wipro, TCS, etc.

Placements: 40% of students got placed in my batch (mostly from off-campus placements). The average package is 10,000 per month. Cognizant is the top recruiter, and no internship opportunities are provided.

DSMS is good for bachelor degree especially for hotel management guys. Bachelor degree of management is also good but the best part is there hotel management courses. Same go for faculty as well. Hotel management faculty are also better instead of management faculty. Campus is big and facilities are also better than other management college in Durgapur. Placements: Almost 54% of students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered was 2.50 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 1.50 LPA. The average salary offered was Rs 19,000 per month. The top recruiting companies are Wipro, Flipkart, Amazon, etc. Around 25% of students got internships in companies like SS Solution, Webel Park IIT, Toolsvilla, etc. The top roles offered are HR manager, business development executive, customer support executive, etc.

Placements: The placements that they talk about are off campus placements. No companies visit the college. On the official website many Tech recruiters are listed but sorry to say, no companies visit the campus. They encourage you for placements in Wipro, TCS and Cognizant. The only effort they do is to send you an email and inform you that the off campus placements are going on and nothing else.
