Good infrastructure & bad placement scenario.

Placements: The placement offered to mechanical engineers is a very bad scenario. They offer jobs that are related to the CSE branch, not to the mechanical branch. No internship is provided. The highest package is 3 LPA for mechanical engineering students.

This is a good college. So take admission.

Placements: Placements are good and the average salary is good. Nearly half students were placed. The highest was a good amount. The quality of placement is very good. I think BCA got the highest salary. The salary packages are good and value for money. The college is supportive and had to help staff.

Everything in our college is average.

Placements: Almost 10% of the students from our course were placed. In our course, the highest salary package offered is 12 LPA, the lowest salary package offered is 1 LPA, but In don't know about the average salary package offered. The top recruiting company of our college is Tata Consultancy Services. The top role offered to the students is an assistant system engineer. I think one or two students or no one got an internship.

Dissatisfied with the college and placement.

Placements: I am keshaw Kumar Singh pursuing B.Tech in computer Science and engineering. I will complete the course in 2020. I am not satisfied with the placement in my college. My college does not bring any good company for recruitment, only startup companies are coming in the college who offer 2-3L salary.

If you want to get into MNCs, do not rely on this college. Improve your skills and try off-campus.

Placements: Placements in this college are poor. Most of the companies that visit the college are related to marketing. The companies that visited the college are Think and Learn, Aptara, and LuminoGuru. MNCs like TCS and Tech Mahindra do not visit college. The placement officer will send you to these MNCs in pool campus drives which will be held in other colleges, and there is very high competition. Most of the companies that come to college offer jobs related to sales, customer support, and courier people...

B.Tech at DIATM is a sad experience.

Placements: There are no placements at all. Below standard companies come here. A few companies don't even exist. Campusing is terrible. We can't hope for anything from it. Only a few students got placed in TCS, rest, most of the students didn't join the companies. The jobs offered are not at all of the engineering levels. I got a job offer in Chandigarh of 7000 rupees per month. Same is the thing with my senior and junior batches. Except for TCS, no company is worth mentioning. Tech Mahindra conducted a dr...

Absolutely dissatisfied regarding placement.

Placements: During our batch Tcs/Tech Mahindra came I was placed in Tcs through on campus drive which was conducted in my college. But they took all over 27 students only from our entire batch including all branches. And one guy was placed in amazon. TCS offered 3.33 Lacs per annum at that time and it was offering same to every college at that time. Other branches like Mechanical I am not sure. But as much as I know only TCS has taken the mass that too very minimum 27 which was disheartening, as from whole ...

Average college. Try some other colleges like Asansol Engineering or drop 1 year.

Placements: TCS and Tech Mahindra are the main participants of the recruitment drive. In the batch of 400 students in our year, these companies took about 15 students in total. But, in off-drive conducted in 2015, about 100 students are placed, these are not with the help of placement team in the college, but individual efforts. Overview of the college is not good. It totally depends on students' own efforts and mental strength. There are about 30 companies come in that period, mostly are cheat and does not...

Absolutely dissatisfied because of the faculty, good placements in 2015.

Placements: The placements of our senior batch were average because only 50-60% of students were placed in the companies. The highest salary offered is Rs 25,000 per month. Many companies like Bajaj, Finserv, Bits and Byte, and much more visited the campus for placements and offered the role to the students as an employee. The college has a placement cell which takes care of the placements.

Satisfied with the overall performance of our college. The placements are best in 2016.

Placements: See for our college placement is not up to the mark but almost 80 to 90 percent get placed every year. The placement depends upon the branch just you can say for mechanical it is not to the level, but if you all are interested in other branches, you all can take it.

Good lab facilities but no knowledgeable faculty members.

Placements: The best company which visited our campus was TCS. After that, no other company was up to the mark. They show that out of 400 students, 180 have been placed, but it's only fake. Our placement was the worst as only 50 students are well-placed, rest are placed in companies that don't exist.

The location is good, just near the NH2. A good mode of transportation available. Faculty members are not so good. Laboratories are well-equipped and lab attendants have more knowledge than the teaching staffs. Placement is pathetic. Not good for core trades. Well suited for CS and IT department.

Good-large campus include ATM and Hospital, organize examination with proper observation and the college has recently increased the number of records for placement. A very Bad faculty, incomplete syllabus in every semester, less amount of lecturers and bad quality of food available in hostel as student always looks for food outside.

When I joined DITAM in the year 2009 it was among the most well known private colleges in Durgapur. We have best faculty members in all the department. Our college never faced a single strike. But things started to change gradually. We were the eye witness of first mega strike for placement in 2009.And after that it became a tradition.2B ut one thing that I miss still now is the campus and hostel life. It was simply awesome. We thoroughly enjoyed every bit of it. Starting from playing Holi ins...

Nice faculty but absolutely dissatisfied with the placement percentage in 2017.

Placements: 40 per cent of students were placed in my course. 6 Lacs was the highest package offered and 1.8 Lacs was the lowest package offered. Tech Mahindra and Amazon were the top recruiting companies. 60 per cent of students got internships in Essar Oil. Site Engineer & Project Engineer were the roles offered.

The review that I want to give to my college is below average.

Placements: In our college approximately 40 percent of the students gets placed from off campus drives and 20 percent of the students gets placement from the college and the remaining students gets the job very late after passing out from the college. The highest salary offered was 4.1 lacs, the average salary offered was 3.2 lacs and the lowest salary offered was 2.4 lacs. According to me there is no top recruitment company which came to our college for recruitment. Top roles that are offered is the post o...
