Overall, it is an impressive journey and we get good knowledge and placements.

Placements: It was a private college. Bachelor of Technology in computer science and engineering department was very popular all the time and students got placed in many IT sectors. Overall 70% of students got placed through on-campus and off-campus. The highest salary package offered by the companies was 6 LPA to 8 LPA. The average salary package offered varies between 4.5 LPA and 5.5 LPA. The lowest salary package was 3 LPA - 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies were some startups and some MNCs like TCS, Wipro...

Review of BIET - Birbhum Institute of Engineering & Technology.

Placements: Almost 50% of the students got placed from all streams. In mechanical engineering, only 25% of the students got placed. Top recruitment companies were TCS, Tech Mahindra, EESL, Power Max Pvt Ltd, etc. In our course, the top role offered was a field engineer, but design engineers are offered the best salary package. The highest salary package offered was 5 LPA, the lowest salary package offered was 2.5 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 3.5 LPA. About 90% of the students got an inter...

Low feels great education.

Placements: Placement is not satisfactory but not so bad these days. In the past few years, placements were at their peak, but now the condition has decreased. The lowest package from our college is 3 LPA, but most students get jobs off-campus in big companies like Infosys and TCS.

BIET is a college for those who want to learn new things.

Placements: I am a pass out student of BIET. I am glad to share my college experience. In our course, i.e., from the civil engineering department, about 30 students got placed in the year 2014. Companies like JMC, TCS, Pinnacle, Redvise, were the recruiters at that time. Top roles were offered by JMC and TCS. The highest salary package offered is about 4 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is about 2 LPA. During our time, i.e., in the year 2014, about 30 students from the civil engineering department got...

Absolutely dissatisfied with the faculty members and placements.

Placements: From my stream nobody is placed because college didn't have us any chance to appear in placement. TPO department of the college failed to organize any placement in college campus. As per memory college had organized only a single campus placement which was a Telecom company. The selected student including me all of us didn't join the company because we were hoping for core companies. But alas!our hopes gone in vain. Not a single core company visited for placement. Though TPO department organized...

The journey in this college will be very interesting for you.

Placements: Placements in our college are now satisfactory. Companies like LG, TCS, etc., often visit our college for placements. Students are more interested in doing internships and preparing for jobs. There is also a placement cell in the college which is quite satisfactory.

Dissatisfied with the placements provided by the college.

Placements: Placements in our college were very bad. No core companies had visited our college during our time. Don't expect good placements from this college. A few years ago, this was a popular college, but it has lost its reputation now. I am very much dissatisfied with this college. The college authority has no power. The placement officer was mot helpful, he has no contacts with the industries. It is not believable that none out of 24 students in our department got placed through on-campus placement dr...

I've completed two years at BIET, and there are two more years to finish the course.

Placements: The placement record of Birbhum Institute of Engineering and Technology is very good. The institute has a dynamic training and placement cell which is operated by experienced officers from Kolkata. Many companies like TCS, Tech Mahindra, L&T Infotech, Infosys, HCL, IBM, NCC, and many companies visit the college to hire students. The college provides vocational training in summer vacation.

I am completely satisfied with our college.

Placements: Placements in our college were not satisfactory at all. Only 13 people got placed in TCS. Rest of the students were unfortunately not placed. It is n't good and does not make sense if half of the people are still in search of jobs now because they were not placed from college.

A review on Birbhum Institute of Engineering and Technology.

Placements: We got placements from TCS, FCS, Serish, etc., but some of the companies were fraud ones. You can get educational environment. There will be a lot of pressure for studies. You can learn something, but you shouldn't expect placement from the college.

Placements: Placements were average for my and for my senior batches. There is a placement cell which is average. Pool campus placement opportunity is good but on campus placement is not that satisfying. 40% students got placed. The highest salary offered is 3 LPA and avg is 2 LPA. Companies visited are tech Mahindra, TCS, some BPO companies. Internship is not provided by college.

It has a good structure. Teachers are helpful.

Placements: The placement was not up to the mark for 2015 batch. But, in 2016 and 2017, students are placed in highly reputed companies like TCS and other companies with good salary package. This year also, the placement is up to the mark. In coming years, it will be fantastic. Placement depends on your skills and knowledge about the subject.
