Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.

An underrated college but has a lot of potential in upcoming years.
Placements: College has good infrastructure and a good area but lacks city exposure. Companies do visit the campus, but students need to work hard and gather skills. This is based on reviews from our seniors. I have also seen students get salary packages over 12 LPA.
Infrastructure: College has good buildings. Hostel is located inside the college campus. There is a separate cafeteria called Cafe, which also offers a monthly subscription for food, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Boys' and girls' hostels are beside each other, with a gym, open area, and game zone.
Faculty: Curriculum is industry-focused, with practical learning opportunities. Faculty quality varies across departments, with some being highly experienced and others less effective. The curriculum emphasizes skill development but may lack depth in certain areas for research-focused students. It is a good choice for hands-on learners but is worth evaluating for academic rigor.

Overall, college is good, and it is worth pursuing engineering here.
Placements: Around 35 to 40 mechanical engineering students secured placements in various companies. Minimum CTC offered was approximately 3.60 LPA, while the highest salary package offered was 12 LPA. College provides 100% placement assistance to all students. Additionally, they offer internships to enhance students' skills and experience.
Infrastructure: Its mechanical department is good compared to other departments. They provide notes and other study materials from time to time. College also offers free Wi-Fi and 24-hours access to clean, filtered drinking water for students.
Faculty: Faculty members are supportive and have great industrial knowledge. All teachers have over 10 years of teaching experience. They also conduct extracurricular activities like go-karting, industrial visits, and many more. Overall, the staff is excellent.
Other: Events organised by college are excellent. There are numerous events throughout the year, and they are all outstanding.

Ajeenkya DY Patil School of Engineering review.
Placements: 65% of students were placed. The highest package offered was 14 LPA by IBM, and the average package is around 5-6 LPA. An internship is mandatory for all students, so 100% of students complete an internship. The main recruiters are data scientists, AI modelers, and various car development companies.
Infrastructure: The college has all the facilities that we need, including Wi-Fi, Mac and Windows labs, a library, and classrooms. The hostel is good but expensive, and the food quality is poor. They have a lot of sports activities, and they conduct university matches.
Faculty: The teaching quality of some teachers is excellent, while others are just average. The curriculum is not very relevant, and we have to acquire most of our knowledge from outside sources, as the university hasn't updated the course. The examinations are moderately difficult, and semesters are held every six months.
Other: I got allotted to this college through the Maharashtra cap allotment system. The food quality is good and the prices are reasonable. The syllabus is new and updated. There are events held throughout the year, and a cultural fest is held during Ganesh utsav.

Satisfied with the overall infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: In the last year batch, almost 70 to 80% students were placed in renowned companies. The highest package of the students from our department was 7 lakh per annum. This year, our students got an internship opportunity from Cummins for the third-year students.
Infrastructure: A lot of facilities are provided in college, such as a good Wi-Fi range which helps to overcome network issues. The best classrooms with sufficient air ventilation and sitting area. The hostel food is best and the rooms also. A huge playground for outdoor games.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful in the overall outcome of the students. Also providing extracurricular activities for the students, such as participation in hackathons and any other competitions. Also conducting visits and workshops for getting trained through industry experts.
Other: I will be passing out in the year 2026 with a mechanical engineering degree. I chose this course because of my interest. It would be better to improve in my course by focusing more on practicals.

Good infrastructure and staff, placements are good enough.
Placements: Ajeenkya DY Patil University (ADYPU) has demonstrated solid placement rates, especially in recent years. In 2024, its highest package reached INR 43 LPA, with the average package around INR 5.1 LPA. Top recruiters included companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Shell, Jio, and JP Morgan. ADYPU’s placement cell plays an active role, offering regular training to enhance students’ job readiness through activities like interview coaching and resume building.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the class is good as there are neat benches to seat on, and the class also has a smart board so that it's helpful for the students to learn visually. The Wi-Fi facility is also good. The hostel has an expensive feel, which is not affordable to everyone, but the food here is great at the mess.
Faculty: The teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable, so the teaching quality becomes top-notch, and the course they teach is enough for passing the SPPU semester exams. The course is good for industry requirements, and passing is not that hard.
Other: Ajeenkya DY Patil University (ADYPU) offers industry-focused, innovative programs with a hands-on curriculum, modern infrastructure, and experienced faculty. Its strong emphasis on global exposure, entrepreneurship, career support, and all-round development provides a balanced, practical education ideal for preparing students for successful careers and ventures.

Review of Ajeenkya DY Patil School of Engineering.
Placements: In this course, a total of 35 students are placed. The highest package is about 9.14 LPA. The lowest package is about 3.14 LPA. The top recruiters are Tata, Mahindra, and Volkswagen. About 45% of students got internships at Tata and Mahindra. The top roles offered give us practical education with some models, and they provide us with specific information in that field.
Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructure, and the campus is very big. There is separate parking for students and staff. The classrooms are well-maintained, and there are gardens and playing grounds for the students.
Faculty: There are many faculty members at the college, and they are very experienced. Their teaching approach is also good, as they provide examples and practice that help students understand properly. They also conduct unit tests before the semester examinations.
Other: There are lots of events at the college.
