Satisfied with teaching faculty, infrastructure, but disappointed with poor placements, management

Placements: I am a mechanical engineering student passed out in 2016. There werevery poor placements, so don't think about that here. Two or three companies had come but they were IT companies, not core companies. Overall, no placements for mechanical engineering students.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of placements, infrastructure, poor management.

Placements: The placements for my batch weren't very good, I am honest here. We had like 6-7 companies which visited us for campus interview. Out of which, many offered tech support roles. 4-5 (apart from prior 6-7 companies) companies were in pool campus drives. Our senior batch was more unlucky than ours because the companies that visited in 2015 were even lesser compared to 2016. In our branch i.e. ISE - out of 66 students, only 7 got paced. In the CSE branch, out of 98 students, 15 students got placed....

Don't choose this college. It will be a mistake if you do.

Placements: There are very rare placements from the mechanical department and there is no core company coming to this college. A placement department is there, but most of the students are going for off-campus interviews.

Satisfied because of good faculty and good environment of the college.

Placements: Good placement for CS and IS branch. Students need to push harder for their placement. The college will definitely support for the placement. Other branches placements are less compared to CS and IS branches. Average package is around 3.5-5 lakh. The package can be 6.5 lakhs or as per the capabilities of the individual. Many companies like Infosys, Incadea and so on visit the campus.

Average college if you are a hard worker.

Placements: There's hardly placement of 3-4 students from the college. Students have to go for open placement after completion of degree and some of the students don't even get a job even after compilation of degree. Lack of placement is one factor for not recommending others to join this college.

A college that gives importance only for engineering.

Placements: East Point college placement cell is working only for engineering students, None of my batch mates got placed through campus placement. Even the department is not giving any help to get the students to place. After my MBA course, I have spent 2-3 months in searching a job.

Poor placements. Not completely satisfied. 3/5 stars.

Placements: Not even a single company turned up to the college for mechanical placements. We were sent for 2 pool campus. It's quite good for computer science and information science, as some companies come and go. The package is literally low. Emphasis, Sonata etc visited the campus. The internship is left to students.

A college with excellent infrastructure and hostel life.

Placements: There are about 600 students studying in this college and only 200 get placed every year i.e. about 33% students get placed. The highest salary has gone up to 7.25 lakhs and the lowest has gone up to 3.25 lakhs PA. The most frequently visiting companies are Tech Mahindra, Incadea, IBM , HP etc. Most of the students initially get the role in a call centre and later as regular office job workers. The students get very less internship here.

Gained a very good learning experience here. Most attractive college campus. Nice atmosphere to study. But they have less placements. The campus includes more than seven colleges within which have more than thousand students. The campus is in a rural area. The transportation facility is very poor but the college provides a number of college buses for students. But the buses are crowded.

Very good college. Good infrastructure with good study environment and vast nature of greenery surrounded campus. Has good campus placements and is situated in the city. Students from different countries study here and it has wide scope of study. One should join this college for a bright future.

College campus is very big and green. Hostel is just fine and it’s better to stay for at least one year in the hostel, it helps in making friends. Teaching, we can’t judge because it depends on type of class they handle. My senior batch placement was bad but this year placement is much better. Coming to the management, it has to develop its procedures.

The college has a good campus, yet failed in maintenance, even though college has a good source like getting skilled lectures, they don’t make use of them very well. Chairman will be present in the campus 24*7, but he won’t be allowed to meet the students. College has too many number of toilets, yet lags in maintenance, we can’t find any dustbin in campus. We have internet lab but using it is wasting your time.

College management is very bad. They have no manners of how to talk and how to behave with students and his parents. They put fine which starts minimum at Rs.5000 for very silly things. No washroom, no drinking water facility, most of faculty are below average, as campus infrastructure has so many buildings but all building under construction. In hostel most of time in a day, no water and bathrooms are left dirty and overflowed. Around 600 students are staying in the hostel and not a single plac...

East Point ‘Jnana Prabha’ campus is away from the bustle of the city. Spread over 90 acres of fertile land, the East Point ‘Jnana Prabha’ campus is set in a tranquil space surrounded by greenery. Classes are compulsory here guys, you need to maintain 75% attendance. And the department is so harsh and cruel sometimes, you will feel as if attendance is more important than marks. Placement record is not too good.

Located on the outskirts of Bidarahalli rural community, this college offers a wide range of under graduate and selective post-graduate courses. Fees structure is competitive, and facilities provided are okay. Accessibility through public transportation is good. Hostel facilities are reasonable. Separate in-campus hostel for Girls and Boys.

Our college is too good for Computer science engineering, good faculty and principal. Friendly environment and good infrastructure, big campus and cricket ground, friendly study environment. The best department in the college (CS) but strict attendance and no mass bunking. When it comes to placements its very poor as there is no placement in the campus. College is far from the city. There are two canteens and the food is average. No extracurricular activities at all! So don't except to have any ...

Please freshers, don't join this college. This college is not worth the money. It has bad placement and worst teaching. It's better to not do engineering than to do it here. Joining this college will not give you any value. There's no proper management.

This college has nice infrastructure but fails in quality of education what they promise for. The director of management called Venkatpathi is a dictator in the college he makes his own rules and regulation. Demand fine as he wish that too at the very beginning of semesters exams and put students life under pressure. I strongly suggest not to join this college and spoil your student life.

Let me explain about the campus in brief, if you're here don't expect good infrastructure, the infrastructure is below average and when it comes to teaching the teachers are up to the mark to provide you with adequate knowledge, and the campus here though is vast with very less maintenance. If you're here only for studies, then this the right place. For the people out there who love hanging out and stuff, I'm afraid there's no such thing around the campus.

Seriously, no placements at all, and the teaching faculty is also not good.

Placements: There is no placement at all. Very bad placements and no proper skills developing teachers. Most of the students are not placed due to lack of skills. Please don't join by seeing the data on Google because it shows there is 97% placement, but the truth is there is no placement.
