I'm dissatisfied with the campus life, and it needs improvements.

Placements: In our branch, almost 99% of the students are not able to get a job. Whereas, students of computer science are offered the highest salary package of 6.5 LPA. Only 4-5 students were able to get a job with above 5 LPA. After graduation, most students are preparing for government exams.

I'm dissatisfied with campus life, and there is no exposure in our college.

Placements: Around 20-30% of the students got placed from the college in the previous year. Most of the students got placed with a salary package of 3 LPA. In civil engineering and chemical engineering, almost 99% of the students are not able to get a job. Whereas, students of computer science are offered the highest salary package of 6.5 LPA. Only 4-5 students were able to get a job of above 5 LPA. After graduation, most of the students are preparing for government exams. TCS, Accenture, and ONGC are the t...

This college is running because of its faculty members only.

Placements: Placements in our college are not much good. You have to find jobs outside the college because campus placements are not available, especially for the civil stream. So, you have to opt for government jobs and other private jobs on your own.

I would suggest not to take admission in this college.

Placements: Approximately 80% of the students are placed from CS branch with a salary package of 1.5 to 4.5 LPA. The minimum salary package offered is 1.5 LPA and the maximum salary package offered is 4.5 LPA. There is no such scheme for an internship in our college. If you are smart, then you can get a salary package of 3.5 LPA.

A completely corrupted college.

Placements: In our college, nearly 40% of students are placed in CS branch. Average salary offered to them is nearly 3.5 Lacs and the lowest salary is 3 Lacs as per I know and the highest package is 6 Lacs. Every year some different companies came to our campus and therefore nothing could be said about top recruits but mostly students applies to TCS every year. Top role allied to a student in our branch in our college is junior software developer in nearly 2 companies. From our branch, more than 50 % studen...

There are no good teachers and a hostel for boys. There are less placements.

Placements: About 11% of the students from our batch get placed in some companies until their seventh semester. The highest salary offered is 4 LPA and the lowest salary offered is 3 LPA and the average salary offered is 3.25 LPA. The top recruiting companies of our course are Sopra Steria, Metacube, etc. Very less number of students get internships in companies. The top roles offered are software engineers. Some call centre type of jobs is also offered. Students get selected for internships in Metacube, C-...

Non-technical engineering college!

Placements: Almost 20 to 30% of the students were placed in our college. The highest salary package offered is 9 LPA, the lowest salary package offered is 2.5 LPA and average salary package offered is 3 LPA. The top recruiting companies are TCS, Infosys, Honda, Wipro. The top role offered is Executive engineer. Only 20 to 40 % of the students got an internship from our course.

Absolutely dissatisfied with the crowd. Infrastructure is poor, and faculty members are good.

Placements: Placements were decent from last year. Many students got jobs through placement drives. Only a few students were offered high packages. A lot of students were offered low salary packages. Usually, students get their internships from their own source, but many students were offered internships from our college. The placement cell available in our college is well established, but it's not that efficient. It's still working nicely.

Overall not a good choice.

Placements: Placements were below average, only one major mass recruiter company visited the college and only few students got placed. Placement cell was not up to the mark and no proper seminars and trainings were conducted for the better placement of students.

The college is a waste of money. There is no support from the faculty members.

Placements: Approximately 0.5% of students got placed in TCS and Infosys companies. The students who got placed in these companies leave the companies due to low salary packages and bad job profiles. The salary packages offered to students are very low around 3 to 4 LPA.

From all the parameters college has not various facilities like Hostel, play ground and more. So I.

Placements: For our senior batch 2 or 3 companies had visited. There were 3 student only placed from Electrical engineering. Branch from batch 2018. Package were 2.5 to 3 lac. In year 2018 there were 14 companies had visited the campus for placement. There are a training and placement cell in the college but it is not so useful.

It is good if a student can get a seat in this college through counselling.

Placements: The placement percentage of our college is too low because companies don't hire the students from our college, and the placement cell doesn't work hard to place the students. Students go to other colleges for placements. Some of my seniors, only 10 to 12 out of 100 students, got placed on campus last year.

Overall, the faculty, placement, and infrastructure are not good.

Placements: The college placement rate is poor because it is a government college. The college teachers do not focus on the placements as they only focus on their salary. Now in this session, only 2 or 3 companies visit the campus, and approximately 5 to 6 students got placed only with 3 LPA. Overall, the placement rate of our college is bad.

My review on Government Engineering College, Ajmer.

Placements: The placements of our senior batch were better in the year comparing to previous year placement. In the year, many companies like TCS, Infosys, HTC, Wipro and many others have visited the college. The companies accomplish with several offers that make good future of an engineer.

Some teachers are good. Not good infrastructure like engineering colleges has and no placement.

Placements: The placements are low by the college. If someone placed in my batch, he/she selected by the own talent. No single MNC came in on-campus, and only 4-5 small companies visited on the campus. The college placement team did not put any efforts for students placement. If you want to get placed, doesn't hope on college and prepare by your self or take your seniors suggestions according to your demand.

Good placements in 2016 but not in 2017

Placements: In our college, TCS was the major recruiter till the 2016 batch. Most of the students from the CS/IT branch were selected in TCS. Wipro was also hiring from our college till 2016 so till that time, placements for CS/IT was good (for other branches less opportunity of placement). When it was our turn (2017 batch) we were waiting for TCS to come in our college. But in December, they announced that TCS will not organise the campus placement. After that our TPO came in action and called some compani...

Dissatisfied because of faculty, poor placement, bad infrastructure, and facilities.

Placements: In my batch, only 3 students were placed out of 60 students- two in TCS and one in Honda. The average salary offered is Rs. 3.25 lacs per annum. Only a few companies like TCS and other small IT companies come for placement. No student got an internship from my college.

Review of Government Engineering College Ajmer.

Placements: Only a few companies came for the placement drive and those were from Ajmer mostly while 1 was from Jaipur. Even TCS didn't come .all and there were 10-15 students getting placed from the college. They don't even try to help the students get an internship or training.

Disappointed because of faculty, poor infrastructure, not good in placements.

Placements: Very few companies like TCS, Adani Power, Indian Army, etc come to placements. The number of students is very less at around 50-60 including all branches which have around 500 students. The college didn't take any efforts to increase placements. The highest stipend is 5 lacs per annum, the lowest is 2.75 lacs per annum and the average is 3 lacs per annum.
