Proud Ethirajian- department sports secretory, dramatist, director, editor and second rank holder.

Placements: I did B.Sc. biochemistry, that course is not specified over here. I got placed in HP. I had plans of doing the higher studies, so didn't take up the opportunity. Since it is an art and science college, most of them opt to continue with masters. As an Ethirajian, we get adequate attention from the recruiter when it comes to the walk-in or a comment job drive Even if we don't clear the placements. We do have a placement cell, and top companies visit for the recruitment for both arts and science.

Three years at the college was awesome.

Placements: The placements offered in our college are good regarding the companies which walk-in for the interviews. From Goldman Sachs to RR Donley we have them all. We also have the companies recruiting for the internships paying about Rs. 15,000 a month which go on to offer a permanent job in case your good at what you do. The package ranges between 2-3.5 lacs per annum for UG and 2-5 lacs per annum for PG. We have a placement cell which consists of the students as well as the faculty members of the coll...

Memory of my Ethiraj College for Women diary.

Placements: I got 3 offers. 70% of the students will surely be placed in good companies. Most of the IT companies, financial company, etc., will come for the campus placements. The college also conducts personality development classes for students to get placed easily. Below are the few companies which came for placement such as EY, Deloitte, Wipro, TCS, L&T, RBS, and Goldman Sachs for 2nd-year internship and more companies.

Ethiraj is a wonderful experience.

Placements: The placements were very good for our batch. RBS recruited around 100 people from our batch. Others were recruited by Goldman Sachs, Fidelity, Sutherland, etc. The highest and the lowest salaries were Rs. 25,000 per month, and Rs. 8000 per month respectively. They offered the roles such as the analyst, trainee, etc., to the students. 10% of the students got the internship in various reputed companies, and the stipend ranged from Rs. 2,000- Rs. 10,000.

Overview of Ethiraj - Satisfied with the curriculum but not satisfied with other things

Placements: The college is good for commerce students. Companies like Deloitte, EY, Standard Chartered, etc. come for placements. However, no companies visit for the science stream. Even if it comes, the package is too low. The highest package was offered by Deloitte, Rs.35000 p.m, followed by EY with Rs. 28000 p.m. The post which they offered was of audit assistant. Student's intake for Deloitte is very less (10-20) but intake for EY is high. Goldmansachs comes for summer internship. ...

I am satisfied because of faculty, good placements in 2016-17, good union etc.

Placements: The placement of the college was good. The students who have 60% and above can sit for the campus drive. The salary offered by the company was from 15,000-35000 per month for undergraduate students. Almost the reputed companies have visited and recruited most of the students. The company has offered core role as well as non-core roles to the students. On a whole, the college has arranged the best placements for the students.

Really good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Good placements. Placement is based not only on their marks but it was given based on their social and physical knowledge. Mostly big companies used to visit the campus interviews. Good encouragements to complete our internship on time by our guides and teachers.

The college provides Ethiraj scholarship for aspiring students. Apart from it, we enjoyed our college life a lot as it was filled with fun events and cultural activities all year round. The teaching was top class and our well-qualified faculty members provided us with all essential notes to face the exams with supreme confidence. There are no cons as of what I have experienced.

Since it is a college for women, we have an added advantage of the freedom and to manage everything. That makes Ethiraj special. From the lectures to the fest, students organize it and make it a success. Thus, it remains memorable. Lectures are made interactive with a different learning system. All the faculty members are trained and experienced.

My college has a good and clean atmosphere. Teachers are on time to class. Only restrooms need to be maintained well. There is quality in teaching and we have well-qualified lecturers. The good thing about my college is they maintain a clean green campus. Also, cleanliness is encouraged. The campus drive is conducted for final year students in their last semester and more than 35 companies visit and recruit candidates from our college. Another good thing is that the management ensures 100% pla...

Best part of life spent here.

Placements: The placements were arranged from leading companies. And organised very nicely. If you are interested they also help you in preparing for it by guiding individually. The companies are very recognisable and a very good entry to step into. You can also get placement and prepare for higher graduation.

Our college is great in extra-curricular activities but not so great in placements. It is lenient.

Placements: Companies like EY, Goldman Sachs, TCS, and Infosys were the top recruiting companies. Yet, most of these don't have much to offer for literature students. Around 4-5 students were selected in TCS. We interned with Education Monitor, Emerald publishers, Hindu STEP and others.
