Faculty of Architecture and Ekistics, Jamia Millia Islamia Scholarships and Funding
Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam Scholarship - Under this scheme gross fee charged by the university will be reimbursed to the student subject to the maximum limit of Rs. 10,000 per student per annum.
Candidates whose family incomes is less than INR 2 LPA, who have passed 10+2 or completed graduation from a recognized university are eligible for the scholarship.
M. F. H. BEG EDUCATION FUND (SCHOLARSHIP)- Under this scheme, the amount of the scholarship will be Rs.10, 000/- (Rs. Ten thousand only) or amount of gross annual fee, whichever is lower per candidate per academic year.
The scholarship will be used to pay the fees of needy students of Jamia Millia Islamia. The Scholarship for which application is to be made for a particular year will be tenable from the concerned academic year. The scholarship will be given for one academic year, which may be extended to the subsequent year subject to securing an average of 60% marks in the examination and bearing good personal conduct.

Placements: Jamia Millia Islamia has a very impressive rate of placements, but it also depends on the type of course. There are a lot of firms local and outside Delhi which are hiring fresh architecture students from our college. All the students are automatically enrolled in internships in their last year of architecture and even in government agencies like DMRC.
Placements: 80 students are placed each year. The highest package is theoretically limitless, as architecture offers unique earning potential, though starting salaries are typically low, around 1,80,000 per annum. There are many firms across India, and students can pursue jobs in various offices depending on their interests.
Placements: The batch we get in here is of the top-most students from all over India and has a bit of competitive culture. In our course, there are internships and the college will help you to get one. Almost every student gets a good internship. Companies like, Google, and Yahoo, do come here more frequently.
Placements: Around 80-85% of the student got placements. The highest salary package offered is around 5.5 LPA to 6 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is around 1 LPA to 1.2 LPA. Placements: Admissions are provided on the basis of JEE Main exam, and the cutoff rank is mostly 4,000. There are two types of the selection procedure, and in 1st type, students who have a rank of above 3,000 are selected, and their fee is also less, i.e., approximately Rs.11,000 per annum. They are called day batch, and students who have a rank other than that are shifted to self-finance or evening batch where the fee is increased to Rs. 70,000 per annum.
