The Department is well stocked with more than 10,000 books including textbooks and Reference books of repute authors. Subscribed to 5 international journals of educational and behavioral sciences. Also has a rich source of encyclopedias, NCERT educational surveys and specialized dictionaries. Other than that there is a central library incorporated around 3.5 lakh volumes, updated with latest collections, 250 periodicals with back numbers. Also provides access to online journals Facility of photocopying, LCD projectors, INFLIBNET, CD-ROM databases and inter-connected computer terminals is also provided. Seating capacity of 750 readers at a time.

Separate hostels for boys and girls facilitate with basic amenities such as Aquaguard, refrigerators, water coolers, television, modern cooking gas plant, geysers. Facility such as Power backup ,Wi-Fi, telephone, sports, Affordable mess are provided. Well-furnished guest room and first aid is available in each Hostel. Reading rooms with latest career and information promoting magazines, local/national papers are available in each hostel. Mini-Bus facility from each hostel for visiting any part of the city is available.
