Good infrastructure with good facilities.
Placements: Here, there is no company that visits the university for the placement. Since it's a central university, you have to find the placement by yourself. However, they probably offer internships at the Supreme Court in the final semester. So that's the best thing. However, for this, you have to achieve good marks.
Infrastructure: The hostels are good with three-sitter rooms, and the hostel facility is nice with canteens. If we talk about the course, the B.A. LL.B. course is based on the judiciary. If you want to become a judge, then Aligarh Muslim University is best for you because the B.A. LL.B. course is based on the judiciary exam.
Faculty: Exams are too much. The total exams in one semester are 36, which makes you exhausted. The exams are classified into GCT, tutorial, assignment, viva, and end-term exams. There are 6 subjects in every semester, which makes a total of 36 exams in the semester. It's too much for a student.
Other: The facilities are good, and we have a diversity of students from many countries like Iran, Saudi Arabia, Bangladesh, Nepal, Afghanistan, Yemen, and others.

Review of Faculty of Law, Aligarh Muslim University.
Placements: As everybody knows now, this is central government university, and the placement cell isn't so strong, and in courses there are very few chances for direct placement. However, 20–30% students are placed in corporate firms and others have to find their own way. But, when exceptionally talented, then for sure faculty is going to uplift and promote you, like they would send you abroad for your P.G. or they can enroll you in their own faculty as guest teacher, etc.
Infrastructure: Aligarh Muslim University is one of the oldest universities in India; its roots are very strong. You can explore the infrastructure of the colonial era with all modern facilities. Hostels are also capable of catching your eye. Classrooms, seminar halls, moot court and everything is very well managed and advanced. In terms of libraries, you're going to enjoy Asia's largest university library, which is the Maulana Azad Library. The mess is centrally managed by government so you're going to get a 3-time-quality meal at a very nominal price.
Faculty: All the professors are well educated and masters in their field; we got teachers like Faizan Mustafa and Irfan Habib. They've tremendous knowledge and they carry excellence in their respective fields. Though it's difficult to meet the teacher outside the class for extra help, during academic hours they're always ready to hear you out. The curriculum of law courses isn't really designed with regard to achieving great advocacy skills but is designed for producing great judges. The syllabus is more oriented towards judicial services. Semesters are going to be very hectic because you're going to face a lot of tests, assignments, vivas, etc., and for passing, you need at least 55% overall in 40% of each subject.
Other: I've chosen this course because I want to be a judge and this course contains the curriculum which can make you expert in the field of law and you'll achieve great command over negotiation skills, arbitration, language, communication, etc. I think faculty should give some attention towards corporate laws and careers regarding that and for incorporating advocacy skills in the students. In the name of events, you're in one of the biggest universities you're going to enjoy every day, and at every time there are some events that are continuously going on. The campus is in Aligarh, just near the capital and the Indira Gandhi National Airport is the nearest one. There are more than 25000 students on campus with great minds and diverse cultures. If you're a really needy one, you can get a lot of scholarships, and in terms of money, this college is way cheaper. Hostel fees are very low; course fee, mess fee—everything is nominal under 2-3 lacs. You can easily complete your course, including fees, accommodation and fooding.

Things about my faculty: AC, seminar hall with AC, common room, and moot court.
Placements: The course provides the best package, with almost 1.5 lakh as the starting package. Many companies come to recruit students, and many get placed in legal firms and corporations. The college itself provides internships to final-year students in the SC.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the hostel is very good. We have double-seater rooms, air-conditioned reading rooms, a canteen, and good food. There are three meals a day along with evening tea. The Wi-Fi connectivity is the best, and other curricular activities like sports are also held.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and have excellent teaching techniques that make learning enjoyable and engaging. The curriculum is somewhat hectic but encourages us, as we have sessions, midterms, and end terms along with vivas and presentations.
Other: I chose this course because I want to help the people of our country who are frustrated with the administration of justice due to the overwhelming burden of cases. I aim to help them by actively working with tribunals.

AMU law is one of the best. It has good placements, infrastructure, less fee charge, and teaching.
Placements: AMU law ranks as one of the 12 law schools by NIRF in 2022. AMU, Aligarh has more placements than other centers of AMU like Mallappuram and Murshidabad. That's why most of the students get placements easily. There are 50-60% of students who get placed every year. The maximum salary is up to 70 Lacs and the minimum or average is 20 Lacs.
Infrastructure: The Law department of AMU has a beautiful structure that every student dreams of. It has well-ventilated classrooms, a library, labs, moot courts, seminar halls, etc. The hostel also has many rooms, 2-seaters, 3-seaters, and 4-seaters. It has a canteen, and its taste is better than the mess. The quality of food in the mess is not so good. It has separate reading rooms, common rooms, a prayer room, a dining hall, etc. And a sports field and benches in the park.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified, knowledgeable, and experienced. Law is a course that prepares you to become a judge, a lawyer, an advocate, or a professor and to work in law firms. Semester exams are not actually difficult but are lengthy because there are 100 marks for each subject and it is divided into 5 to 40 marks which includes class tests, projects, viva, mid-term, and end-term, which all make up 100 marks. So, it is easy for students.
Other: In the AMU campus, one can enjoy fests and programs along with studies. There are food fests, mushaira (poetry), moot court competitions, drawing and collage competitions, debate competitions, etc.

Q:   Is Faculty of Law, AMU better than NLU Delhi?

A:

Both are good institutions of learning.

But it can be better to study at National law University, Delhi. Faculty of law, AMU can be taken as a second option. AMU is good in teaching but it is like Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST) which is not comparable with IITs.

Studying at NLU has many relative advantages than studying at AMU. It will give you wide exposure to the world if ideas and learning and also facilitate you in learning other things. You can also easily participate and observe or attend courts at Delhi high court and the Supreme court of India
