College is good in everything except the infrastructure.
Placements: 85 percent of the students are placed in my course. The lowest package, according to my course, is 20000 and the highest is 50,000. Not many but some private companies recruit from here. In my course, the majority of students are preparing for government jobs, so they have no choice but to go to other companies .
Infrastructure: Infrastructure and facilities are not good. The foods are available in the canteen, which is also good. The seating arrangements are also very good but they are very dirty some times, so we need to make clean place where we are come to eat and have lunch, etc.
Faculty: Teaching is excellent and most classes are running regularly. There is not much doubt in the teachers teachings. The professors are giving us study material so we are studying with our free minds.
Other: I chose this course because it will be easy to prepare for my future studies and prepare for my goal without any problems. Preparation are running well by this course and by the study material .

A real college review of Delhi College of Arts and Commerce.
Placements: There are not that many placements in my course, but some placements are very decent. The highest salary package offered is 9LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 4LPA. I think 18% of students from my course have done internships in various private as well as government startups. In my course many roles are offered like the role of a negotiator, role of a magistrate, and role in executive branch, both in political and permanent criteria.
Infrastructure: Our college infrastructure is quite average because it lacks in terms of infrastructure. There are no air-conditioned classrooms but if we talk about library it is fully digitized and air-conditioned with all resource books available for all the courses offered by college. The quality got better recently otherwise in previous times it is very bad. The food here is eatable and tasty but there is an issue of hygiene. Our college also offers practice sessions for serious athletes who want to pursue career in sports.
Faculty: Faculty members here are very supportive except for some teachers. All faculty members are helpful and they teach their respective subjects very passionately which can be seen in the report cards of students. This course curriculum is not relevant and it doesn't make students industry-ready, but it does make a student ready to crack competitive exams. Semester exams are not that difficult. Students score well because we have to pass the criteria of 40% in every subject for example one paper is 160 marks then students need to score 64.
Other: I chose this course because I want to make a career in civil services so it gives me certain knowledge about politics and policies. The things that should be improved are just that teachers should give more assignments to students for a crystal clear understanding of concepts. Events are very low in college because of small infrastructure. But, societies of the college make college life quite interesting.

My thoughts on Shaheed Rajguru College.
Placements: It is tough to state the percentage of students who get placed as the majority of students proceed in the field of academia and go on to higher studies. Very few students sit for placements and the ones who get placed are at moderately low packages. Cracking a well-paid job right after graduation is a tough nut to crack. Companies that visit our campus with respect to our courses are HCL and Wipro.
Infrastructure: The campus provides all the necessary amenities like Wi-Fi, labs, a gym, a canteen, a lush green garden, and a library. There are well-equipped labs for the respective courses. The quality of the food in the mess is of good level. You are provided with Wi-Fi, a recreation room, a medical room, and laundry services.
Faculty: Most of the professors, particularly in our course hold a Ph.D. degree. Some have also left their high-paying jobs at reputed companies to follow their passion for teaching and it shows up in their teaching style. They know the industry standard and provide accordingly. Semester exams are of a moderate level. They are moderately easy to pass. There is no pass percentage and you are promoted to the next semester irrespective of your CGPA. You just have to clear if you get back in any subject in the alternate semester.
Other: I chose this course because the software sector is getting more saturated. There's a huge scope in the field of hardware. Semiconductors is a booming sector, so my interest and curiosity drew me here. The things that could be better are the functioning of the placement cell for students to get well-paid jobs as per their skills and good internships for resume building. DU is known for its fests and campus life. You will experience it once you get in here.

Yes I am dissatisfied with the college.
Placements: I have generally not heard about placements from my department students who try for IIT JAM and other field jobs. some go for UPSC government exams students come here to do coaching and other curricular activities which develop their personality physically as well as mentally.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is okok not too good mostly washrooms GATE doesnot have latch. Library is fine and canteen requires cleanliness also the classroom are cheated as in summer there in no proper ventilation and fans working, also no edu comp classes held.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful if you are regular usually students study just for the sake of exams, not seriously and most of the teachers focus on the quick covering of the syllabus In the end students have to study on their own. Stone hardly managed to pass due to their carelessness.
Other: There are a lot of groups in our batch. No fest no alumni, not good crowd students are much involved in politics.

Q:   Can I take admission to DU with 60% in Class 12?

A:

DU is considered one of the most competitive universities in India for Commerce, Science and Arts education at the undergraduate level. The university and its affiliated colleges was attracting the cream layer of crowd till the time admission was subject to Class 12 scores. While reserved category candidates still had minor chances of getting into a not-so-popular course of DU with 60% in Class 12, a General category student with 60% had no chance of getting into any good college or course at DU.

However, starting 2022, DU admission process has shifted to CUET-UG based admission process. Those with a valid score in CUET UG exam who have passed their Class 12 are eligible to take admission now. While the chances of getting into a good DU college are still low at this score, the chances of getting a seat have increased now (provided you score extremely well in CUET UG).

DU offers prestige, affordability, and a wide network, while NMIMS provides modern infrastructure, industry connections, and personalized attention at a higher cost. Choose DU for reputation and cost, or NMIMS for a private setup with better facilities.
