FMS is known to provide best possible ROI for any B-school anywhere on the planet, but there is much else than low fees that sets it apart. Situated in the heart of Delhi University, it provides ample opportunities for career and personal growth. What one looses in terms of infrastructure in having a smaller campus is more than compensated by getting to know almost all of one's batch-mates at close quarters. The standing of a B-School is judged by the placement opportunities it offers to its stu...

FMS Delhi - The red building of dreams in MBA arena. Yes it is the campus which is proud to have her own Alumni as her Dean (Alma-mater matters). The campus established in 1954 as first management school in country, is blessed to be in NCR (Why will leave to you to understand). Faculty here are really good with knowledge but most important with support to you. OR let me tell you in terms of finance The Portfolio is good with minimum risk and higher return. Students are from very diverse backgrou...

FMS Delhi is a premier B-School of the country. Situated in the heart of the North Campus, FMS is a dream college for any CAT aspirant. The faculties at the college are the best in business with the best teacher to student ratio at any college. The best part about the college is the fees, which is very low as compared to other b-schools, and at the same time providing the students with opportunities which is better than almost all the b-schools of the country. Added to that it’s the Delhi Univer...

A great peer group, one of the finest management faculty. Great placement opportunities, and probably the lowest Course fee for MBA in the world are some of the advantages you get being a part of FMS. Since, a large number of events and activities including placements, are managed by the student run bodies, you get a chance to showcase and improve your managing and organizational skills right from the start. Being a part of DU gives you access to different facilities as well. But small campus an...

The "Red building of Dreams" is known because of its huge alumni base and great faculty. The best and the oldest college in India and is having the best ROI in India among all Management schools. Admission in FMS is through the CAT that is been organized by IIMs every year. A separate form for FMS is to be filled and then the candidates are called for personal interviews and the final list of students is selected every year.

I have mixed reviews for this college. Even though the campus facilities and exposure which it provides through its events are fabulous. The placements are only average. The fee structure at my time of joining was very high, which I feel is not worth the money as the ROI is low. The faculty is not up to the mark and even the college crowd is not so great. I will not recommend this college to others.

The college has excellent placements with half of the batch getting placed above 18lpa. The faculty here is very cooperative. The attendance constraint is 90% to sit in examination. Most of the work here is carried and taken care by the respective societies formed of students only. There are societies for each domain. The batch size is around 225. The campus also has its canteen and shake joint. Only thing which lacks here is accommodation facilities as only 60 students are provided hostel seat...

The college is located opposite to the famous Kirori Mal College. The faculty here is very knowledgeable and cooperative. The placement of FMS, Delhi is one of the best amongst management colleges in India. On an average a batch gets placed at around 17lpa, batch size is 220+. The campus has its own canteen, and juice and shake corner. The parking facilities are just okay. It can accommodate around 10 cars and 25 motorbikes. The campus lacks hostel facilities for all students. Only 60 seats are ...

This is one of the top MBA campuses in India when it comes to ROI. The tuition fees for the two-year program is a mere 20,000, as compared to lacs and lacs of rupees in other B-schools of the country. The faculty here are expert in their respective fields and the teaching style is also very communicative as it is a mix of group and individual presentations which help students to learn better. The only thing which I feel is not at par here is the lack of hostel seats as one has to live outside t...

FMS is truly a premiere B-School which has lot to offer apart from only placements. The quality of faculties, the academic curriculum is quite impressive. Teaching methodology is kept quite interactive with the utmost involvement from students. The pedigree of FMS comes with a different genre altogether. Focus is given on true learning in the classrooms rather than focusing just on academic rigor. Though FMS lacks in terms of a world class infrastructure but it’s centrally located in the hub of ...

I believe that IIIT-D is among the best places in the country to study computer science (and now possibly electronics and communication as well). However, as I pointed out in my last post, one should probably join only if they’re convinced that CS/ECE is what they really want to study. There’s a very good reason for this: IIIT-D as an institution wants students to either get placed in high-end industry positions or study further in the field (MS/PhD). So if you simply want to sail through your b...

Great student crowd and faculty. Some distinguished professors who really knew their stuff. Lot of industry interaction and live projects to do. Lot of late night work/assignments to be done, but they were all worth the effort. Infrastructure could be better and the institute would benefit a lot if it moves to a larger/new area/campus.
