Good lab facilities and helpful faculty.
Placements: 1. The top roles offered in our branch were research assistant, quality control analyst, junior scientist, etc. 2. The internship rate is around 80%, with companies such as KFRI, JRF, CIMFR, and ATREE. 3. The top package offered was 3.5 Lacs, while the lowest was 1.8 Lacs, with companies like Biocon, Syngene Zydus Cadila, etc.
Infrastructure: The hostel facility wasn't great during our time; there were limited medical and sports facilities. The rooms had attached washrooms and a hygienic mess with various food options. There is a library with online resources available, good classrooms, Wi-Fi, and labs available.
Faculty: The session is planned in a way that is relevant to core botany subjects, and additional electives related to the industry would be quite beneficial. The faculty members are helpful and knowledgeable, but there is a lack of industry exposure.

    Good placement and excellent faculty.
Placements: 1. There were 70% of the students who were placed in my course. 2. The highest was 5 lacs, the lowest was 3 lacs, and the average was 3.8 lacs per annum. 3. The top companies in my course of botany were Biocon, Syngenta, the Kerala Forest Department, and the National Bureau of Plant Genetic Resources.
Infrastructure: In my department, there was Wi-Fi available and a classroom and a laboratory were generally used during the practical session. They have good equipment and are updated with new ones. There is a hostel with basic amenities, including sports, games, and medical help.
Faculty: 1. We have faculty members with strong research backgrounds who help with active learning. 2. The classes are designed in such a way that they cover both theoretical and practical aspects of botany. 3. We have different field trips, workshops and seminars to encourage practical exposure.

Good faculty but facilities need improvement.
Placements: The highest average package offered ranges between 5 and 8 LPA, while the lowest average is between 3 and 5 LPA. The percentage of students placed in our course is above 90 percent, including convener and management seats. The top roles include research analyst, lecturer, and plant biologist, and the top companies are Pioneer, research agencies, colleges, and universities.
Infrastructure: The facilities provided for our course include well-equipped labs, a small botanical garden with various species of plants, a stocked library, and sufficient Wi-Fi availability. Multiple grounds are available, and sports are well conducted and organized.
Faculty: The course curriculum is relevant, ensuring every student is industry-ready. The teaching faculty is proficient in their subjects and friendly to students, helping with every doubt. They hold higher degrees,, like PhDs. The teaching quality is simple and easy to understand, although the difficulty of semester exams is high, with a pass percentage above 75.
