Register for FDDI AIST

Aspirants have to visit website of Footwear Design and Development Institute and click on the "Apply Online” button. Thereafter, candidates will need to click on “New User” link and provide all the details to create a registration ID.

Fill FDDI AIST application form

After creating a registration ID, aspirants will need to select the course in which they are seeking admission. Further, candidates will need to provide their personal, educational, and contact details. 

Upload documents

Candidates will need to upload a scanned copy of their recent passport-size photograph as well as a signature.

Pay FDDI AIST application fee

Candidates may have to pay FDDI AIST application fee in online mode via debit/ credit card. The expected application fee of FDDI AIST is as mentioned below.

Candidates who are unable to submit application form for FDDI AIST within application window will be given a chance to fill application form with a late fee. The additional fee that aspirants will need to pay to submit their FDDI AIST application form after deadline is as follows.

• Personal and Educational Qualification Details
• Government ID Card number (Aadhar/Passport/PAN/Voter)
• Caste / Tribe/ Class certificate (for SC / ST/ OBC(NC) candidate)
• Disability Certificate for Persons with Disabilities
• EWS Certificate if eligible
• Image of scanned photograph in jpg/jpeg format and size should not exceed 50 KB
• Image of scanned signature in jpg/jpeg format and size should not exceed 50 KB
• Debit / Credit Card details for making online payment against the Application Fee

Window to edit FDDI Application 2026 forms will be available from April 21, 2026, to April 22, 2026. To make corrections in application form

1. Go to website of FDDI
2. Click on Admissions Open link
3. Proceed to Login to Edit your Application Details link
4. Enter application form number, email ID and date of birth
5. Click on Submit button
6. Make required corrections in FDDI AIST application form
7. Click on Save and Submit button.

The eligibility criteria for FDDI AIST 2026 for the UG course are given below:

The candidates must have passed:

•  10+2, in any stream, from any recognized Board; or 

• any School or Board or University examination in India or in a foreign country recognized by the Association of Indian Universities as equivalent to the 10+2 system; or

• School Examination conducted by the National Open School with a minimum of five subjects; or

• All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) approved a three-year full-time Diploma after Class X offered by the Board of Technical Education of any state or Union territory.

The exam pattern of FDDI AIST 2026 is program-specific. So, when preparing for the exam, make sure that you follow FDDI exam pattern specific to your program of study. The exam will be conducted in Hindi and English. Candidates need to select the language at the time of filling the application.
