Opt only if you have no other option!

Placements: I guess 40% of the students got placements with the highest package of 5.5 lacs p. a & the lowest of 2.7 lacs p. a. Top recruiting companies were Godrej, Boyce, etc. In FCRIT, it is a common belief among the teachers that the students are well versed with the internship part & they are capable to apply for one on their own, so yes good luck with that.

Good Faculty but not so Good for Placements and Internships.

Placements: Placement is not up to the mark and only 70% of the batch was in 2016 got placed. College is not at all supportive during internship placements. The highest package company offered during final placements was 5 lacs p. a. Most of the students got placed into local companies and few preferred higher studies and few got self employed. Average package offered was 3 lacs p. a. Top recruiting companies are TCS, L&T, Zorient, IBM.

Rest all companies were IT with average package of 3lpa. Students had done internship from barc, npcil, Aditya birla etc.

Satisfactory facilities and faculty.

Placements: We were a class of 72 students involving few from the Diploma background, out of which only 40% of the students were recruited through campus placement process majority of which were for IT designated roles and had no relevance to our engineering course. The highest package offered by a Core company was 5.5 Lacs per annum and the lowest being 2.2 lac per annum. The average salary ranged from 3.5 - 4 lacs per annum. Keeps you on track in terms of academics.

Placements: The placement was pretty average. TCS being the major and bulk recruiter. There were very limited companies that came in and offered good roles. Overall not a good placement during my year. The college teaching is more focused towards university exam and bookish knowledge without much practical thing.

A college that makes you independent and tough after the hardship you go through, in the tenure.

Placements: 40% of the students were placed. The highest package - 6L, the lowest - 3L, Average - 4L. Petrofac, LnT, TCS, Ingram, Jacobs College was not supportive at all when it came to internships. They guided the role to be done but never did they helped in giving specific company names or bringing in the companies.

A course every one must learn. Power electronics

Placements: Placements have come for our batch. It started with Jacobs engineering in 2018. Now currently, Ruttonsha, Select control, Thysunkrupp Have come in the campus for recruiting M.E students. From our batch some have applied for the placements, some are willing to go in the teaching field. But our institute is making sure that all of us will be placed in a good company for job. The highest post offered is Graduate Engineer trainee. The highest package for M.E is 4.4 LPA.

Placements: Companies that came to the campus were L & T, Godrej, Kirloskars L & T Infotech, TCS, Torrent Power, Nikhil Comforts, ATOS, Burns MCD The highest package as of I have heard is 5 LPA ( Godrej). Top roles provided is Graduate engineer trainee in every company. From the batch of 2013-2017, nearly 48% of students ( 35 students) got placed. Some started with Masters in India in NIT and IIT, some went abroad to Pursue MS. But the overall placement rate was good.

Placements: You cannot expect good placements from this college even though education you get here is good. Only around 30% of my batch of 2016 got placed. Only few companies visit campus for recruitment. The highest package was offered by Oracle of 8 Lacs p. a. to Computer Department student. The highest package for electrical was 5.5 Lacs p. a (Petrofac). Average package offered was 3 Lacs p. a. and least it went till 2 Lacs p. a. Really Good with Knowledge and Discipline but Poor Placements.

Placements: Placements are not really upto the mark. Hardly 50% of the students get placed and many choose to go for higher studies. If we talk about company packages, the highest package goes till 5.5 Lacs p. a whereas the lowest packages goes till 1.8-2.0 Lacs p. a. On an average company offers 3.5-4 Lacs p. a. College will just suggest you to apply in certain industries but rest you have to do it on your own. Top Recruiting companies are L&T, Siemens, Petrofac, Godrej.

FCRIT: The college is good ! Placements are not.

Placements: Around 40% were placed, some of which later left for higher education. The highest salary offered was around 5.16 Lacs p. a, the lowest package would be 2.4 Lacs p. a, on an average it would be 3.36 Lacs p. a Top recruiting companies were L&T, Godrej. Internship completely depend on the students. Search for good internships by yourself, the college may offer some but that would be for 3rd years alone.

Placements: There are five branches in our college. The CS department receives the highest placement, and about 90% of the students are placed. Companies recruiting are TCS, Xoriant, LTI, Ingram, Shell, Citiustech, Nerolac, etc. In the IT department, about 80 % of placements are conducted, and the companies are similar to CS, and most of the eligible students are placed. The mechanical branch receives fewer placements of about 40-50%. Only academically strong students get placed in companies like Pradman en...

Opinionated review based on personal experience.

Placements: My batch & my seniors' batch had ~90 placements for the students who sat for same. Salary ranged from 3.3 to 6 LPA. Companies included TCS, Oracle, Persistent etc. Most roles were generic "Jr Software Developer" or a derivative of same. There is a placement cell; I had no interactions with them, however, so cannot ascertain to their efficiency or usefulness. All that being said, "Guaranteed Placements" is the USP of the college and it tries very hard to live up to same.

The college is not suitable for the students who want to enjoy their college life.

Placements: Placements for the students of IT and computer science departments are very good. Most of the students get placed if they are serious about their career and want jobs. But, placements for the students of mechanical engineering are very poor as only 20 students out of 75 may get placed. The average salary package offered for the students of mechanical engineering is 2.5 LPA to 4 LPA. A placement cell is available in our college, and it is very active. Companies like TCS, Accenture, L&T, Capgemini...
