Diploma in Cinematography - Batch of 2019

Review of FTIH - Film And Television Institute of Hyderabad.
Placements: Placements were not very good. No students from our batch got placements. There was no recruitment at the campus, but they had promised about the placements during admission.
Infrastructure: Cinematography course requires practical experience and it had nearly 10% of practical. The management had promised to give students hands-on experience, and practical sessions on professional cameras but it didn't have any. I hope they were given more importance to practical classes now.
Faculty: Faculty members were good, but there was no proper curriculum. They were teaching students the basic and same classes for 2 to 3 months. They need to improve the curriculum. It had many changes in faculty members. There was only one exam during the course time i.e. 1 year.
Other: In this college, weekend guest lectures were good and informative. I hope it will be better now.

Best film school in telugu states.
Placements: 98% of the students in my batch were getting placed after the course. On average package was 2.9 Lacs per annum. Many companies are like MNCs, web media, print media, electronic media, and freelancing works. The top roles were team charge editors.
Infrastructure: Everything was provided for us by the management, like Wi-Fi, labs, and classrooms. There is no hostel on campus. The hostels were near the campus, we can stay in hostels, and we will learn the course on campus. Cultural activities were happening every time.
Faculty: The teachers were helpful throughout the course. Their knowledge was commendable. Extremely practical and theoretical methods were also implemented. Train students like me. After hitting the floor in the real market world to showcase our strengths, I realized that the training helped me a lot.

You should try to contact with studios in Mumbai, Pune or Delhi. As my younger brother did, and he is working with them.
