Absolutely dissatisfied because of poor placement.
Placements: Only 10 people were placed from the 2025 batch till now, and from our department, only 1 student was placed. The placement scenario is horrible in our college. Not even a single decent company has come properly; no notable MNCs like Cognizant, Capgemini, etc. have come to our college, and the average package is of about 3 or 4 LPA.
Infrastructure: Some of the computers in our lab don't work, and there is no canteen facility available. Also, the college is way far from the main road, so to eat something proper, you have to travel a distance. Wi-Fi is there, but they won't let us use that, and the network is horrible in that area.
Faculty: Some of the teachers are actually helpful, but most of them don't care what we do, and our TPO is the worst of all. Semester exams were decent, but questions were unpredictable. Also, the TPO or teacher nobody helped us during placements and told us to do coding. We were left on our own.
Other: I chose this college and this course out of curiosity, but this is not worth it at all. Events were good but not great, and the campus crowd is not good here as students don't get a lot of space, and the campus surrounding is horrible, filled with warehouses and car cleaning companies.

The management and staff provide strong support and learning opportunities are available.
Placements: Placements are average and most students are placed in IT companies. The highest salary package offered is 22 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA. Top companies recruiting from our college include Amazon, Infosys, Cognizant, and other companies. Only 10% of students received internships in startups from my course.
Infrastructure: Classrooms have features like green boards to reduce glare, overhead projectors, and smart podiums. Strong Wi-Fi network covers the entire campus. Library with physical and technological systems supports library programs and services. Hostels offer a menu designed to meet the nutritional needs of students. But, some students have expressed mixed views about the quality of raw materials used in the mess.
Faculty: Some qualities of a good teacher include skills in communication, listening, collaboration, adaptability, empathy, and patience. Other characteristics of effective teaching include an engaging classroom presence, a focus on real-world learning, the exchange of best practices, and a lifelong love of learning. An engineering curriculum can help students become ready for the job market. Semester exams in the college are difficult and about 40% of students pass, including CA.
Other: This course provides me with the knowledge and skills necessary to tackle IT sector challenges, which I believe are crucial for our future. It helps students understand the course. Events, fests, campus crowds, connectivity, campus surroundings, scholarships, and extracurricular activities are well-organised.

MSIT review by a 1st year student.
Placements: 1. 80% of students get placed.
2. 11 LPA was the highest salary, 2/3 LPA was the lowest, and 5 LPA was the average for non-core branches.
3. Top recruitment was done from various companies.
4. Internships are not given by the college; students must get them on their own.
5. SDE is the role one can get.
Infrastructure: 1. The college is available with good Wi-Fi. Labs are okayish. Classrooms are average. The library is big. The library can be one of the good parts of the college.
2. Hostel is not provided by the college. But there are hostels in front of the college; the quality of food is almost okay. Sports culture is good in college but no field to play.
Faculty: 1. Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is actually good.
2. The course curriculum is relevant. It makes the students industry-ready.
3. The semester exams are difficult if you study. The pass percentage depends on the year.

The college is well maintained and the faculty members are well educated and knowledgeable also.
Placements: Approximately 50-60% of students are placed. The highest package offered by Amazon i.e. 32 LPA.
Top recruiting companies are Accenture, TCS, etc.
Many companies are coming now so the recruitment process is now going on. The companies offered many types of roles.
Infrastructure: The labs are well maintained and the computers are very much upgraded. The computers have I7 processors. In the library, you can get all of your required books according to your course. The hostels are also very good and well the food is also very good. But I will suggest taking food from outside of the hostel, that will be less costly.
Faculty: The teachers are too much educated and knowledgeable. They are too much helpful also. You can ask your doubts at any time of the day. He/she will obviously help you. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant. The college is under MAKAUT university. The questions are not very tough.

A decent college with a nice environment.
Placements: Around 60-70% of the students are placed in our college. The highest salary package is around 6 LPA and the lowest salary package is around 3 LPA. Top companies include Amazon, Cognizant, Capgemini, TCS, etc. Internships start from the third year of our college, along with the training. Top roles offered in our course include web development, software development, app development, etc.
Infrastructure: Labs are fully air-conditioned with Wi-Fi, as is the library. Not all classrooms have air conditioning, but they have good air circulation. All necessary infrastructure is available in the lab. The college does not have hostels, mess, or PG accommodations.
Faculty: Teachers are quite helpful, highly knowledgeable, and qualified. The teaching quality is also great. They are always ready to help, and the faculty is simply awesome. The course in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning is highly relevant and makes students industry-ready. The exams are moderate to difficult, with a pass percentage of 80%.
Other: Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning are the current needs of society and the market. The best thing about our course is that it helps students learn about various aspects and subjects. Technical events and musical events take place, although the campus is quite small.

The ground reality reveals a lack of verification. Only consider joining if solely seeking a degree.
Placements: Placements at our college are average, neither too good nor too bad. The major recruiters are Infosys, Cognizant, TCS, and Wipro, all of which are mass recruiters. Microsoft hired one student many years ago, and our college still boasts about it. The lowest package offered this year was 3 LPA by TCS, and the highest was 12 LPA.
Infrastructure: Our college doesn't have its own hostel, but there are many hostels and PGs nearby for both boys and girls. Alternatively, you can opt for a rented room with 2-4 friends in sharing. If you're a vegetarian, don't even consider the nearby hostels, as the food there is not of good quality. Regarding college infrastructure, we have only three buildings, no playground, and no recreational spaces. There's only one common room where students often smoke, and the canteen, at times, remains closed for long periods, currently for two months without any particular reason. The computer labs are well-equipped with i7 processors. The number of classrooms is insufficient compared to the number of students, leading to situations where we have to wait outside for the previous class to end. Despite teachers being willing to give extra classes, the unavailability of classrooms is a frequent issue. The library is extensive and contains a vast collection of books.
Faculty: The course curriculum is outdated for some subjects, especially in the first year, but becomes more relevant from the second year onwards. Only three out of ten teachers are capable of making students understand the concepts and show genuine interest in teaching. The rest seem to be there just to fulfill their duty. Mechanical teachers are notably the least effective, often behaving as if they own the college, and their attitude towards students is inexplicably harsh. The pass percentage is 40 percent.
Other: The majority of the student body consists of Bengalis and some Biharis. Beyond these two communities, diversity is notably lacking. Bengal girls predominantly prefer interacting and dating Bengal guys. If you don't know the Bengali language, joining this college is not advisable, as teachers primarily use Bengali for instruction.
